If the liberal dems have their way and get into office, this country will be threatened with becoming a quasi-socialist state. Look into Great Brittain and France right now. There health care is poor (universal, i might add) and the muslims in their cities are confined to "ghettos" where they demonstrate and call for Sharia law. The British parliament is so liberal it feels like it must appease those that threaten to kill it's countrymen. I don't think Americans that are voting for Obama are stupid (at least not all of them), they are just ignorant. Many are only voting for him b/c he is black or b/c he is a democrat. Look at his policies. Pay attention to more than just what you read on CNN or MSNBC.

Comment: I disagree, while it is true that McCain has supported the surge his objectives were not to kill innocents but rather to bring a swifter end to the fighting. He understands first hand that war sucks period. Unlike you apparently, He also understands that sometimes its necessary because there are evil people out there who will take what does not belong to them. This means there is something of a problem and that the best way to deal with that problem is to fight wars to as swift a conclusion as possible. When dealing with thugs overwhelming force is necessary. Have Bush and Rummy screwed up. you bet. Rummy may be a decent peace time Def Sec but he's a lousy war time one. He made several huge mistakes and our soldiers and their families are paying for them. He should not have disbanded their armed forces especially after apealing to their professionalism. He should not have disbanded their government. He should not have allowed theJihadi's to come pouring over the borders. And he should have put the necessary assets in place to prevent the removal of military assets to Syria at the beginning of the war. He should have put more troops from the beginning of the war and should have seen to it that they were better equipped. All of these mistakes have lead to more casualties and wounds, both civillian and military, in the long run and emphasize my point that once war becomes necessary the best way to deal with it is get it over with as quickly as possible. If that means you need to kill off everyone who resists and level a few cities, you do it because otherwise in the long run even more people are killed or are hurt.- And I especially include the Iraquis in that too.
Comment: As a former Navy Pilot John McCain knows the dangers of flying military missions over a hostile country. I am sure Barack Obama with his recent campaign airline charter scare have a better understanding of the dangers. Barack Obama should have a special appreciation of the dangers also in flying in even nonmilitary nonhostile situations. It is a fact that United States Airforce and Navy pilots lives will be saved by not having to continue a nofly zone over a hostile Iraq for the next fifty years thanks to the support of John McCain for the war. The surge policy was the right policy and will save American military pilot lives.
Comment: I walk the beach and see former soldiers from Iraq missing arms, legs, bandages wrapped around their heads. The wounded looking at the surfers, knowing they will never be able to surf again. the danger is on the ground. These guys have no way to fly out of danger, they are sitting targets. At least Obama will get them out of that hell and bring them home where they belong. The US should have never started a war. How many thousands have died because of this stupid world. I see why it took a man like Sadamm to run that demonized place... the people are walking demons. McCain is just like Bush ....don't know what the hell he is doing. The American people want our boys and girls home in one piece. You are not safe on the ground but you are much safer in the air...at least you can fly away. You are only thinking of yourself as a pilot...what about the ones on the ground.
Comment: It was reported today that Obama stated that the United States has not also set the best example to Russia with regards to invading countries. The obvious reference is to Iraq and John McCain retorted that our invasion of Iraq was proper and justified and can not be compared to the invasion of Georgia by Russia.
Here is a thought for the Democrat leadership on their position of no American support for Iraq.
Obama discussed and downplayed his recent harrowing experience with their chartered campaign aircraft that had elevator problems due to an accidental inflation of a rear exit slide. The media reported it was a serious event. United States military pilots experience harrowing events every day. Thanks to the recommended McCain troop surge and George Bush original decision to overthrow Sadaam Hussein, US Airforce and Navy pilots no longer have to provide a continuous no fly zone over Iraq. They had provided this no fly zone to prevent Sadaam Hussein from using his airforce and helicopters to slaughter helpless Kurds in the North of Iraq. Before the United States invasion under George Bush, this nofly zone had to be carried out from carriers and bases in Kuwait which involved distances and hazards. The successful overthrow of Sadaam has saved countless American pilot lives and harrowing military aircraft safety incidents similar to what occurred on the Obama chartered campaign plane. Democrats under the leadership of Obama would have us performing a no fly zone mission over Iraq for the next fifty years instead of going in and taking out Sadaam as we did and saving countless US military pilots lives over the next fifty years. McCain support of the war in Iraq was the right thing to do and will have the long term effect of saving American lives.

We trained and our tax money paid for the training to teach the idiots to fly our plane, our security system couldn't even find the dammmmm planes the terrioriest was flying. The US is at fault what happen on 9-11. Our army can't even get control of Iraq with out killing. why do you think we should even be over there killing. McCain and Bush will have you on the ground for the next fifty years if Obama don't get us out from over there. You are much safer in an air plane than on the ground. Thanks to democrat policies we are dependent on opec oil. Saddam wanted to be dominant over opec and global economy. How will millions of americans get to work when Saddam decides its time to place sanctions on the free world. The democrats make you think america can run on renewable resources which is impossible at this time. The democrats don't even want nuclear energy. What do they have planned? They won't tell you. They would rather keep you in the dark and happy until republicans get in office and have to fix everything so we are not dhimmis under sharia law.
