Jill I will assume you voted for Mondale ,Gore and Kerry but i hate to assume...I am a Union Electrican (retired) and I am voting for Obama ...I have never voted republican also...

I'm here at the Dem Conv. enjoying myself I might add. I looked at an upset women.. (a Hillary supporter), who stated "I might vote for john McCain".. I asked her... What type of work do you do? She told me proudly "An accountant for a big six" she stated. I added Are you as good as any man? She looked at me as if I had two heads. I then asked her...Do you realize McCain voted against equal pay for women for equal for equal pay?

Obama is ultimately much much older than McCain. Obama is deeply rooted in the poison of Malcom X, Frans Fanon, Carmichael, Garvey, resentment, liberation theology, Reverend Wright, Ayers. Where is the Nietzsche that can help us understand this?

Maybe not, but that doesn't change the fact that McCain DOES equal Buah. He voted in lockstep for Bush's policies 95% of the time in the Senate last year. When Republican governor Mark Sanford was asked on CNN what distinguished McCain from Bush, he stammered and hemmed and hawed and couldn't think of a SINGLE thing. Blue collar voters who don't like Bush but vote for McCain anyway because he's white are going to be in for a rude shock after the third Bush term commences. It will probably be worse than Bush II. Bush actually has moderated some of the cowboy diplomacy that was so disastrous in his first term, as evidenced by his moderation in dealin gwith North Korea. But McCain has learned nothing after being in the Senate for decades; he's itching for another war or two and he may start one as soon as he gets sworn in.

The only purpose to be elected as the President should be to improve the well-being of Americans. As shown in this article, Obama's purpose seems to win the election. With vague policies, voters doubt whether he is aware or even passionate in solving Americans' problems. Obama has to walk out of this dark image immediately.

I had planned on Voting for Obama when I thought that Hillary Clinton would be his running mate. Let's face the fact that elections are won and lost on capital infusions. Usually the Republicans have enough financial muscle to get whatever they want when they need it. Who are we kidding? But by not choosing Hillary Clinton as his running mate, he essentially throws away all the financial roadwork she laid down, and someone that foolish does not deserve to be president. I thought he was going to "reach across the aisle" to work with someone he had real problems with. If he can't work with the Clintons what makes us think he can reach across the further aisle of the Republican base. I give up. I say let's just let the Republicans have another election so they can start WWIII and we can all go out with a bang instead of a whimper. Obama is Republican-light. Half the calories and none of the excitement. Oh yeah, change. Because that's all he'll have to tackle this election. Change. Brother, can you spare a dime?

And please for all the idiots outhere, stop asking to your leaders about their moral values. If you cannot see how happy and well balanced Obama's family is, you are worst than I thought. You attached way too much importance to things who are not that important. As long as the candidates are not Jack the ripper, what do you care about their moral values?They have the right to privacy, just like anyone else! No politicians in europe would have to proove those things. If you need moral values, go hang around your preacher, though they are not the ones with the best moral values if you ask me.

I am so sick of us pandering to the so called "hard working white voter." Why is it okay to pander to this group, but the moment someone markets themselves to black voters, they are trying to play the race card, or they're being disingenuous. The best excuse I've heard, America is made up of more than this group.

Obama should have waited his turn after Clinton and not been so egotistical. He???s not ready. Shame on him! Hillary would have won, and with Bill by her side they could have solved many of our problems. Instead, all we hear about is race. And the fact he played the race card against Bill Clinton and Geraldine is completely unacceptable!!! The Democrats shot themselves in the foot again and left the country to the wolves. What in the world were they thinking????? Obama will not win.
