Maybe they didn't want a racist running for president

Everyone who goes into politics begins with the best interests, but once elected, you have this one coming to you for a favor, then another, and then others. As you continue your path, if you choose to do so, the more people you have in your corner that "help" you get elected. Pretty soon you are "owing" them for getting you there. And what's worse, you won't get there unless give in to them because someone will.

No I've read all the garbage about the white/black thing here, but folks we really need to keep race out of it. I know that difficult when the media blast it all over the place, but you really have to vote for right person. Don't vote for Obama because he's black or McCain because he's white, vote who has the best chance to lead us out where we are now.

I have read some of these posts and have no idea why we are fighting each other.
Do we want money? Success? Fame? Togetherness in our families? A JOB???? A HOME????
So, vote for who you think will get you there - whether he or she be black, white, red, yellow, Russian, Kenyan, European, Indian, Hispanic - for the USofA is a melting pot anyway....

If Obama becomes president he will have to have double the security because all the racist people in this country will try to assassinate him because he is black. But I am definitely voting for him but there is to much white supremacy and hatred that this country is still not ready for color no matter how many years have passed since slavery there is to much racism and hatred. Talk about the MSM going overboard to put Obama in the limelight, this tops the cake. Guns and meth are a huge problem and have been far longer than Obama has been in politics. If there were talk of anything sinister I doubt it was any more than routine bluster from the trash that line the streets. A precaution would be to investigate them all but then the MSM should go to press with every negative remark made about any candidate for any office to be fair. That is not newsworthy nor practical but pushing your agenda on the backs of a few dopers is noteworthy to the extent it brings the meth issue to the political process and that is it.

How do you know that this has been the worst presidency in US history? Have you lived through all of them? You can't make an objective comment because you are not old enough to have lived through ALL of the presidencys. Walk in his shoes for a mile.
Sometimes we think we know more than we do. Because of national security sometimes all things are not revealed to us. It is easy to judge and say what should have been done but again what do we really know. I make good money so I may be considered rich. But I also work my rear end off and have made the necessary sacrifices. No one has handed me anything. President Bush and his advisors did not make me rich. If it is a communist country you are looking for then go find one.

I agree that Bush has ran our country in the ground, but what did he care? He's got money and you can see that he really doesn't care for our people in this country. He'd rather do something for a foreign country than to help his own people. It will defintly take Obama to get this mess straightened out. Bush's supporters are always saying Obama doesn't have enough experience, come on now, what they really are saying we're not voting for this **** (whatever) because of his race. Saying that I feel like he has experience enough and you can bet he will be the opposite from Bush and McCain. YES WE CAN YES WE CAN YES WE CAN!!!!!

Somtimes we think we know everything and we don't. Walk in his shoes a mile and your attititude might change. The only reason you think this is the worst presidency in US history is because you haven't lived through most of the other ones, so that is not even an objective statement. None of these people set out to intentionally harm the country. Things in life just don't always work out as planned. No president has ever been perfect nor ever will be.

No doubt when the original report came out, Obama fans were gasping in shock and pointing to the similarities between JFK, etc. Now that more details have come out and it turns out that it was a mumbling from a meth freak coming down from his latest score the story doesn't seem to have the same symbolism. Comparing Obama to JFK is a joke. So far off the mark it's not even funny. Although, the comparison to Malcolm X is a little more in line. Radical, far far left, and media induced celebrity, yes, a closer match.

Simply put... Threatening to sue someone is a threat based on a legal action taken place. Suing is a legal manner of resolving conflicts. Killing on the other hand is NOT a legal action and therefore even a threat of such an action, wether it be an idle threat or not, is NOT legal since it does present the possibility of actual harm to the person being threatened. I think that the attorney spone about simply did not express himself completely. His punishment will be a lack of clientele in the long run.

The difference between "I'll sue you!" and "I'll kill you!" is in that one action is legal (suing) and withing a persons rights to do while the other action is illegal (killing). The attorney making the comments may have simply failed to express himself fully and therefore not warranting the time, effort and money to being condoned for what he said.
