    It is perfectly legal to threaten to kill someone as set by legal adjudicated precedent. You just aren't allowed to actually kill someone. Federal judge Arthur J. Gonzalez established clear precedent that death threats are legal during the WorldCom bankruptcy case when a death threat was admitted by a lawyer against a whistle-blower corruption. Eliot Spitzer, at the time the Attorney General for New York State when even further as to determine that delivering a death threat is ethical and falls within the bounds of the NY Lawyers Code. [see http://jaactv.com/330/site/content/vi... ] These Obama detractors are certainly not moral or nice, but please lets stop abusing them by pretending that what they are doing is illegal.

      Info on the site mentioned (jaactv.com) does in no way establlsh that threatening to kill someone is legal. It does report a conversation between an attorney and his clent in which an attorney tries (unsuccessfully, I might add) to convince his client that it is not illegal to threaten something that you don't actually intend to do. He is actually trying to say that it would not be illegal to threaten to sue someone if issued as an idle threat and compares it to saying "I'll kill you," and not meaning it. The site points out that it is incomprehensible (to them) as to why this attorney was not investigated or presecuted for saying this. If anything, the site reinforces the fact that making such a threat is illegal and anyone issuing (or condoning) the threat should be held to account for it.

    Plot to kill are leader. Do they not realize the whole world is looking up to this man and waiting for him to be elected. These three republicans Tharin Gartrell, Martin Johnson, and Shawn Adolf are all a good example where if there mothers would have used abortion it would have been a good thing.     Why is anyone surprised? These are the type of people the Republican party and Conservative Christians (one and the same) have been cultivating for years with their identity politics. Take a good look at the demographics of these people--male, white, presumably Christian, low income, likely only a high school education, unless they dropped out.     This country is unbelievable!! Why nobody thought of killing Bush in all these 8 years, this ignorant clown that has caused so much damage to this nation and to so many families?? It looks like the idiots can get away with anything... US is famous for killing their best and brightest leaders: John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X... A conspiracy is an agreement by two or more people to do something illegal. How is that junk? The burden the police have is to make sure they have evidence to make viable charges. The burden the prosecution has is to prove those charges beyond a reasonable doubt.

          I take it from your posting that you probably went to law school. If so, it is clear you have let ideology cloud what you may have been taught. Or, you may have been one of those kids who were "too cool" to actually learn anything, and then base your vote for a President on whether he is "the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with", since our leaders shouldn't be serious or intellectual.     I have been scared to death ever since Obama began his run that he will be assinated. There are always people who feel that they have the right to decide for everybody else. Or to force a change in the presidential after a person they hate when he wins. they oufgt to be brought up short by the idea of a Biden president. This guy has 36 years experience, is charismatic and funny and extremely powerful, much more so than McCain. And as he said about guilani, that all he ever said was 'a noun a verb and 9/11, you could say that all McCain says is a noun a verb, and oh by the way, did you know I was in a prison camp for 5 years? Frankly who cares? Being a POW does not qualify you to be president, nor does this country owe him the presidentcy, like he thinks it does.
