    Taxing the hell out of everyone will definately help the middle class. Government must controll everything if the Middle class is to survive. By forcing American Companies to create a strong middle class, American Companies will have no reason to ship jobs over seas. After all, it is not as if other countries are manufacturing the same kind of products we are. We also need to make sure that the poor get their share, and we can use the trickle down effect. We will take money from the rich, give it to the poor, and then we can take money from the working middle class and give it to the non working poor. Great Idea,
    Obama is the second coming. Class warfare is the way you create a strong economy.

    Yes sir once we attack American Companies long enough, they will cave in and cater to the American worker. They will enjoy paying high taxes, and they certainly wont pass any extra costs on to the consumer.

    We also need to tax workers an extra 8% so we can have socialized health care. I only say 8%, because its less than the 10 to 12% that all the economists are saying it will need to be.

    Besides Canadians have socialized health care, and the hard working class do not seem to mind that their income taxes are about 15% more than Americans. Maybe we the people wont mind that kind of Taxation either. Besides the more of your money the Government takes from you, the more of the wealth the government controls, which is great, because us libs believe that Government is the cure for all our ails. And Obama is our man.

    I am sure Obama and his family realize that he will be an assassination target from here on out. Some people in this country will not take lightly to a non-white President. The Order used to award the highest point score to the man who brought the head of the President on a platter. I guarantee you white supremacists all over this country are gearing up, using the weapons they've stockpiled over the years. I sure hope the FBI is monitoring and infiltrating some of these groups.

    Let's talk about experience, shall we? So much experience between George W. Bush, Carl Rove, Condi Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, and Dick Cheney. Years and years of experience among them and and they managed to screw up the economy and destroy the image of our great nation. Barack Obama has experience...as a leader and positive example to Americans. I'll take his inspiration over George Bush III's (McCain) experience any day and twice on Sunday.

      Experience? The man has logged a total of 143 days of actual work in the Senate, yet to AUTHOR legislation in both Illinois and DC (tacking your name to someone else's work doesn't count), never held an executive position in any law firms/elected office/board of directors/etc. He wasn???t even an actual professor in Chicago. Let's hear it. Please tell me what experience he has, PLEASE!

          You have no clue who you are addressing. I'm a staunch Independent that was voting for Hillary (who is probably more conservative that McCain by the way) before the Democratic party decided that throwing an inexperienced black man up as their candidate would garner more votes than an imminently more experienced white woman. At least with her we knew what we were getting. I will do anything I can to expose Obama for what he is, an empty suit that stands on the far far left and pretends to be in the center. Socialisim under Obama is not my goal in life. I would move to Canada if I want that.

    I've only ready three posts, but I'm convinced that some people simply are not happy unless someone is running for office who agrees with them on ALL views. Folks, that ain't gonna happen. There are no "perfect" candidates. Both parties will make mistakes. But to expect either party to perform to perfection is like asking for GOD to run this country. Last time I checked, GOD was not running for president. Get over it.

Corporate America/Big Business have gutted the life out of the middle-class for the last eight years, and a new balance has to be struck. That requires sacrifice and Americans have before and will again make that sacrifice for the good

      The real problems we are having now, are fully systematic, We are a country on credit. Had our government, and our people (in their own personal lives) spent money wisely, instead of charging out our future, the US greenback would be such a powerful form of currency, that we would have ensured our future for a long time. But a false economy based on a GDP of dollars spent, but not yet earned over the course of 40 years is going to have its consequences. And giving more money to the Government so they can continue this farse is not the solution. Americans are going to have to hunker down, or we are going to become the country of bankrupcy.

      You miss the bigger picture, big business, and American exceptionalism created the middle class. If the American Businesses had somewhere else to go (Infrastructure) back in the day while the middleclass was growing, they would have left then. Problem is, they have plenty of places to go now. The truth is, we are going to have to work with and cater to the Big Businesses, or they will leave us, You cannot bully a business into giving up its profits. The purpose of all business is to make money. Unfortunately money is everything, and in America you can either go out and get it, or hope the government can sustain a system that penalizes prosparity, by giving hard earned dollars to those, who may have done nothing in their lives to earn it, or who have made mistakes, and are now demanding that others pay for them. The reality is, is that the Average American is just going to have to become a more important asset for themselves. Wether you like it or not, it is not America that has a Global economy, it is the world, and we cannot control the world.

    What I think is truly hilarious, and you can take it for what you will. A lady that I know (who is pushing 90 years old, so she's seen and probably done more than many of us on this forum) said that it's kinda funny to her that the Great White Hope of the American People is now a skinny black man!       Oh yes... and that makes a lot of sense... first of all... why in heavens name does the President of a country as diverse as the United States have to be called the "Great White Hope of the American People" where there are other races involved? Beyond that... if she's a "staunch Republican" why in heavens name would people listen to her... she sounds like most of the "staunch Repulblicans" she sounds like she's narrow-minded and judgemental. Vote for the person who will have America's best interests at heart! Although I like McCain, I don't think he has the backbone to stand up to the War Hawks that have run this country for the last eight years during the Bush Administration. I can see McCain has a good heart it's not him I'm concerned about... it's his Administration that'd worry me. God bless!

      Pulled himsted up by his own bootstrap to excel at an elite school of higher edcuation. Effect change through his community service work and go on to the Senate. Intelligence and tenacity, why don't you throw that into the equation with your Black comment.     That is great, the politics of the hood, after all, Detroit, DC, Baltimore, New Orleans, are the staple of what we will have to look forword too with entitlement politics. It is like leaving a leach on your body, because the poor thing needs to eat. unfortunately it is not exactly healty for the host. Hey why not let it reproduce and feed its offspring as well. Whats the worst that can happen, thousands of leaches sucking the host dry. Just look at Detroit. thats what can happen.
