Now do you see what religion does?? Oppressing people!!!! 48% of europeans are now either atheists or agnostic and numbers are growing, even in this country the number of atheists and agnostics is growing... How long will it take you to understand that religion is the root of all evil... how many more people need to die in the name of surperstitions??
It does not matter the name of the religion, they are all dangerous. There are muslim fanatics and there are christian fanatics, even in this country, especially in this country.

Seems the group of LGBT gets more and more attention from the society. Many of my GLBT friends on the online community BiLoves* are working for the group. They are really great and respectable.

Any person (Christian or not) who reads this should be disgusted by how Iraq is treating a helpless minority. It is patently cruel. We're all in a minority one way or another.

How sad that Bush had to remove a sectarian government (albeit via a dictator such as Saddam) in favor of the madmen of extremist Muslims, Shites and Sunnis alike (although I believe the Shites are the worst of the lot. The last statement of the story said it all, (in comparison to where Iraq is now) how beautiful life was under Saddam. Bush and his henchmen unleashed a totally unjustified war which has resulted in death for untold tens of thousands of innocent people , including around 4,500 of our own military men and women for absolutely no gain.

The last comment of the above story stikes me as the most important statement of all. Bush's war was a right-wing "Christian" war and winds up putting extreme Muslim Shites in control of the country. There's just enough Sunni population to keep frictions going and the killings are just terrible. Both factions have no respedt for human life or rights of individuals (e.g., the homosexual community). Iraq, the United States and the whole world would be better off if this "Bushie" war had never been unleashed on the poor people of Irag under the guise of removing WMD from a dictatior's hands.

It sickens me to see how people use God and religin to condemn and brutalize people that are different. You religious fanatics do not represent God, and you should be ashamed of yourselves for using God and religion to commit crimes, to use as a means of promoting bigotry and hate among people.

Why do people with closed minds always open their mouths.

Should sodomy, whether hetero or homo, whether between married straight couples or between 'fornicators out-of-wedlock' be punishable by death? "Ooops honey, you slipped up again, wrong hole - let me call the henchmen of the inquisition. We MUST DO THE RIGHT THING! God is watching!"
Should those cohabitating with unclean wives(women on the rag), those working on the Sabbath or those touching the hide of the unclean pig (playing football) all be sentenced to death? That is the question! You can't selectively pick and choose the ramblings of the old testament, the ones questioned by Jesus, the 'blashemy' that got him crucified. Nobody needs to thank fundamentalist Christians for letting 'anybody be' in modern day America. They need to be thankful they are not the main attraction to amuse the lions in the Coliseum!

It's not just how judgemental any religion is. It's their country, their laws, if their people choose as life style that is against their laws - its their problem!!
Special interst groups have it so good here, yet they are soo greedy, thinking not only should we let them live their chosen lifestyle, but we should give their lifestyle choices the same rights and priviledges...and more than we give our majority!!
Perhaps we should all be a bit more greatful for what we have here.
Oh, be careful of who you are calling judgemental - its amazing how many "non-judgemental" people watch American Idol and other "reality" tv shows and have no problems judging those people!!
