      I think that John McCain is really into celebrities. His vice presidential nominee Sarah Paulin has a 17 year old daughter who is pregnant reminds me of the whole Britney Spears fiasco. Her younger sister getting pregnant and planning to get married and if anyone will recall her mother took alot of heat from that. She was called an unfit mother. Then he even compares OBama to Britney Spears in one of his campaign ads.

    I am deeply offended by the suggestion that pulling American troops out of Iraq now would diminish their honor or remove it completely. The Republicans say "they must stay and fight and finish the job and then they can come home in honor." This implies that if they are pulled out now they are dishonorable, contemptible. A soldier is honorable because he or she is a soldier. Honor is packed and front-loaded into being a soldier. A person who leaves their family, home, friends to fight for his or her country for 5 minutes or 5 years is ALREADY HONORABLE. To be pulled out of a war does not diminish the honor a soldier posesses. I can't believe the Republicans are suggesting that honor only comes from victory or when the Presidents says it does. Sickening. Disgusting. And I will make it my mission for the next 3 months to ensure McCain/Palin are not voted for. I'm so offended.
    And drilling for oil in Alaska and on the Shelf will not produce usable gasoline for 7 to 10 years. And there is an environmental impact. But considering that Reagan once said something like: how many redwoods do you need to see to see redwoods? One is enough.

    A Governor of Alaska carries more political weight than a low life " community organizer " from Chicago. There is no comparison.

    I was a resident of Alaska for 33 years before changing my residency for health reasons. I have not kept up with Alaska politics since that time. However, with Ms. Palin signing oil contracts with Canada for drilling in the Arctic spells warning. Is this another ploy of the Republican Party attempting to put a hold on Alaska's Permanent Fund and other lucrative resources. This occurred when Murkowski was placed in that position which turned out to be a disaster. Can we expect the Republican party to further sell out our nation as it has in the past eight years. Please learn all you can about the issues before voting. We were a very strong nation when World War II was thrust upon us and became a fast forward nation at the close of the war. Where are we now? How far have we strayed from the original Constitution? Is debt considered progress? Take a look at our bank and personal finance problems. All these issues affect everyone. DO VOTE FOR ALL THAT YOU FEEL WOULD BEST SUIT OUR ENTIRE NATION, NOT JUST AN INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATION, GOVERNMENT ELECTED/APPOINTED OFFICIAL, OR THE POLITICAL PARTY OF YOUR CHOICE.
