    this is a sad situation, but yet this kind of act is as close to terrorism as you can get and you got to see that color would have changed the charges to reflect that.

    I'm not at all surprised by this report, whether due to drugs or just a big chip on their shoulder, Obama is, in fact, "black" and there are, in fact, racist groups out there, still, that may very likely take deep offence to a black man in the White House. Anyone remember the KKK? It's out there. How about the Skinheads? They're out there, too. You may not hear as much out of them lately as in the past, but don't think for a moment they've decided to just get up and leave. Also, remember Rodney King (from the L.A. police video scandal a few years back) Anyone who believes in "can't we all just get along?" lives in the same dream world as he does. Sure, lots of us can, but as they say, "one bad apple...." And all it takes is for that one bad apple to have a gun in his hand. I hope Obama has a LOT of people watching over him. He'll probably need triple the usual number of bodyguards as any other Pres. in the past, just to keep him safe from the local yocals.

    For what it's worth, I don't care what color you are, male or female, so long as you can do right by the American people and help our country get back onto it's feet after these blasted Republicans have ruined everything. I'm suffering from declining economic woes ever since Reagan was in office, such that I can't even afford to pay my bills any more. I'm actually even looking at a future where I may need to declare bankruptsy, which will basically be the end of everything I've worked so hard to build for myself and my family. Clinton, for all his sex scandals and such, was actually a "good" president in that he balanced the budget and gave us a bit of cash surplus (which Bush promptly threw out the window, essentially saying "love me, here's some free money"). But ever since Reagan, and his so-called "Reaganomics", our country has been in financial trouble. The Bushes didn't help it, either. I don't know what Obama can/will do about it, but what concerns me is I'm seeing a lot of talk in some emails that are circulating the Net about how he and his policies aren't right for America: he'll cut this, take away that, weaken everything else, and on top of it all, he worships the same book that Bin Ladin holds. I don't know if these are another campaign by the racist groups to defame Obama, or just concerned citizens, but if half of it is true, why are we so hot for him? Like one of these emails asked, are we REALLY so desparate to get the Republicans out of the White House? From the looks of it, I guess so.... It's enough to raise question in my mind, so I'm not likely to vote either way. May God help us all with whoever sits in that chair these next 4 years. It's too bad Al Gore isn't doing anything. I think he would've made a good president. He's sure a hell of a lot smarter than any of these other idiots.

    Would Troy Eid have released the 9.11 hijackers on 9.10 had they made clear their plans but had been on meth? Lee Harvey Oswald didn't exactly have clear means to pull off what he did, as conspiracy theorists still believe it wasn't possible to pull off what he did with the rifle he had... But it happened. Eid to my understanding was a former Republican lobbyist who had no prior experience before getting his job. He is a U.S. Attorney who _wasn't_ fired, so he was proven a loyal Bushie by Monica Goodling and crew. Why was Marc Harold Ramsey charged for a mail threat to John McCain while a group of racist people fully armed and confessing plans, however poorly thought out, have not been? Especially given the current non-existent credibility of the Bush admin's U.S. Attorneys.

    I am a middlewestern white american who has been surrounded by ignorance all my life, at times I thought that I was as ignorant as the other idiots that have surrounded me all my life. I am proud to say that I have lived long enough to see a person of color have an actual chance at the white house. Unlike uneducated voters I will not vote for Obama, but I also won't vote for McCain. Just because I am proud of the fact and happy that the chance has been givin, it doesn't give the man a clear waive at his political decisions, first namely his VP running mate. McCain is nothing more than another Bush, and as I have seen my friends from my past military experience die senseless deaths, I cannot condone another canidate that will continue to put those who deserve the best that america can give them in harms way when they don't need to be. This election has become a quandry for voters that have researched and are making an educated vote towards the next president of the United States.

    Most racist organizations have already been infiltrated...not to necessarily protect a signal individual...but to protect the Government and the Presidency of the United States.

    The organizations and people sworn to protect the Government and the Presidency of the United States are both within the government and outside the government. They operate in secret, and some are and belong to secret societies.

    Think...

    If a foreign government was plotting to harm the President of the United States, does the United States have the institutions and mechanisms in place to thwart such an effort.

    The blanket of protection that Senator Obama is cloaked in is designed to protect the Executive Branch of the United States of America.

    If you think computer technology is advancing so that you can have GPS on your phone, access the Internet faster...

    ...or NASA has satellites that can see a rover on Mars or stars being born light-years away and not far national security reasons like seeing a "shining penny" on a hog's behind!

    ...you're not imbecilely naive, but fail to realize just how powerful the United States of America is and will continue to be...

    This story is incomplete. Are the suspects being held until the convention is over? Or have they been released and their loaded weapons returned to them? Are they members of the National Rifle Assn?

While the feds are rolling back the ''assassination''threat,they are going after them on federal weapons charges instead.       Could you imagine race relations? Because of 0.000001% of white America, the rest of white America would jump back 100yrs in race relations. Exactly what these pieces of shyt want.
