A senior federal official said the Feds have yet to determine whether they will charge any of the defendants with any offenses related to the alleged threats against Obama. According to the official, even "uttering" a threat against a president or presidential candidate can be prosecuted as a federal crime; more serious related charges could include conspiracy.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Denver, which will play the lead role in deciding whether any threat-related charges will be filed, is continuing to play down that aspect of the investigation. At a press conference late Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Eid said the threat to kill Obama "was more aspirational perhaps than operational." He said investigators are moving forward "with an open mind."

In a written statement, Eid maintained, "We've conducted an intensive investigation, chased down numerous leads, and carefully reviewed the evidence to date. It is a very serious crime to threaten a presidential candidate. In this case, however, there is insufficient evidence at this time to indicate a true threat, plot or conspiracy against Senator Obama."

So according to you, all of the economic mess didn't start until Jan of 07'? That all this damage only then started. And while the 9% approval rating is correct, you fail to mention why the low rating. Could it be because the Repukes have set a record in Fillibustering? The Dumbos only have 51 in the Senate, which unless they change the way it is run now (which the Repukes wanted to do for confirmation votes), the Repukes can fillibuster pretty much anything they want. I'm posting this in April of 09', and the Repukes lost BIG TIME in Nov. The way I see it, they will lose even more in 10', because they still haven't changed their way, even after all the damage they have wrought. You 20-30% of the people who still support Bushie and Cheney, I can only figure that you love, and put these things above, your party, and your blind hatred, a lot more than you do your country. As you called people who protested Bush, and disagreed with him, traitors, when by your actions, it is people like you that are the real traitors to this country and what it is suppose to stand for.

So you are saying that this all started in 07'? Because until then, it was the Repuks who had controll of both houses. It just goes to show that you few Bush supporters put your "party", and your blind hatred, well over your country. And then you actually have the nerve to call people who disagree with you and Bush, traitors. To me, it's the people like you who are the real traitors to this country and what it is suppose to stand for.

Harvard and Yale officially deny any competition between the two Ivies. Ditto Annapolis and West Point. But Ohio State and Michigan invite students to bring it on. Who's really the best? You decide.
