A day when America's first politician of African-American heritage accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Senator Obama's speech to his fellow Americans tonight was one of the most motivating and substantive speeches I have ever heard in my lifetime. It was reminiscent of the spirit of change and American pride exuded during the times of the late Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.
Senator Obama clearly made his message to the American people tonight.
