A Day for the History Books

I was so entirely taken up with tonight's -- and indeed, this entire week's -- speech and the entire scene in Denver that I now believe it is truly possible that we CAN elect this man!

He appealed to everyone - left out nobody - and spoke so ELOQUENTLY and INTELLIGENTLY that I find it hard to believe we wouldn't elect him in November -- it is just impossible not to like and respect and admire this wonderful candidate - a once in a lifetime politician - whose brilliance is only enhanced by his dedication to the plight of our fellow citizens.

There is nobody else but Obama to elect as our leader, as far as I'm concerned. There is nobody else in the whole country who could possibly hold a candle to him and his wife Michelle.

An excellent convention! Superb spirit and wonderful talented leadership - very encouraging.

Out with the old, in with the NEW!!! I'm ready for change - and only hope even 30% of it could come to pass in Congress. That would be a significant achievement and worthy of America's rekindled "promise" that we've left by the wayside for so many years.

Now that HE has been crowned it may be the time for exposition. Please google: Obama's money machine and we will find how his team successfully raised enormous amounts of money through internet scheme and bundlers all under the radar.
Search you will find. The same money machine which worked for Obama stands to gain from him. From what? from his sleazy promise of going energy "independent" by investing 150 billion into renewable energy market. Who are these people behind obama, the same people from the time of Silicon Valley Internet boom, which left millions of retiress poorer exactly by the end of Clinton Era. So if it was internet bubble at the time of Clinton and oil energy bubble with Bush Cheney. ... wait till you see the next bubble.... with the pumping of 150 billion dollars into sham projects. I just have to post this theory since that is one way I can keep my consceince clean. Thank you. I don't mind if Republicans run with this idea and revelation.

Howard Fineman shares the same affliction as his colleague Chris Matthews--their hearts rule their brains. Just like we know we are Americans when the pride surges through our bodies during the National Anthem, we know the Democrats are ruled by their emotions. I think a lot of us start out as Democrats when we are young because we want to make a difference. When we wise-up and start making a living, we move to the center.

Howard and his Democratic media colleagues must start to recognize the evolving Centrist Party. We are here and we are not going away. We want women to be responsible for their choices and we want government to ensure they are safe regardless of the decision they make. We want fiscal responsibility. We want accountability. We want government to work on problems and not the linings of their pockets. We want quality education whether we pay for it ourselves or whether it is provided by state & federal funding--just don't tax us twice. We want to earn our way and we want to be kept safe at home. We don't want to police the world but we need to have a strong military.

Very similar to what the leaders of the Confederacy knew when they committed to the Civil War. These men wanted what was guaranteed in the Constitution and knew that if they failed, they doomed all future secession efforts.

If Sen. Barack Obama fails after his historic nomination to achieve victory, the price will be enormous for the next African-American candidate for President. Bobby Kennedy had it wrong--the first ceiling was always for a woman to become President. Women represent a valid majority of voters as sex transcends race. Their numbers, experience, judgment, and readiness to lead are undeniable. Sen. Hillary Clinton knows that all too well.

The women of this country were denied the right to vote until 1920. If anyone has a legitimate reason to break the string of white males elected to the Presidency of the United States, it is a woman! There will be a black President of the United States of that I have no doubt. But first we will have a woman President whose race is of little concern.

American families all across America will remember this day in US History. A day when America's first politician of African-American heritage accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Senator Obama's speech to his fellow Americans tonight was one of the most motivating and substantive speeches I have ever heard in my lifetime. It was reminiscent of the spirit of change and American pride exuded during the times of the late Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.
Senator Obama clearly made his message to the American people tonight.

Well well...BREAKING NEWS ON LARRY SINCLAIR....we all remember his arrest at the NPC. Seems that Delaware Attn. Gen. Beau Biden...son of Joe...didn't fall far from the tree. The attempt to harass and intimidate Sinclair, into backing away from his claims against The False One, have utterly failed. Rumors abound that this is how Daddy Joe got the V.P. nod...make him VP candidate and he would shut up ex-loverboy Larry. Sinclair was threatened with a life sentence by the A.G. office. Sinclair stuck to his guns. Here is the result..........

The giant gorilla in the room that no one wants to talk about is the fact that after 8 years we still have electronic voting machines without verifiable paper trails.That means our voices may not all be heard.
