Just want to make sure you know that Obama is for partial-bith abortion.... its horrible!!! If you dont know what the details of that is then look it up.... Obama CANNOT HAPPEN!!!!

Where can I find The Career of Barack Obama?

  • Posted By: ThinkGlobal @ 09/10/2008 1:18:34 PM

Reading the comments from Shhh really scares me. I am hoping that the majority of Americans can get their heads our of their asses and realize that Republicans think the American people are too dumb to be able to see through their bull ***. I hope we can prove them wrong and unite. I hope we can actually make the dream of a better America happen, because if things keep going at this rate I don't want to raise my children here. I am scared for the country and all of the free thinkers who live here if McCain and Palin are elected.

    • Posted By: K Brock @ 09/10/2008 1:23:57 PM

ThinkGlobal: What scares me is people like you who want to push your extreme views down our throats and when we stand up and say "enough of the Bull" you want to whine and move to another country. When you go you will find that there is no other country in the World that is anything near what America is. It won't be the whinners and elite that keeps your butt safe, and that of your children. It will be the people who love this country and see the greatness of it. I'm sick of hearing the "Poor Me, I live in America and so do Republiicans" bull. Get out. Go live somewhere else. Wh needs you. I don't.

If I were Joe Biden I wouldn't quit my day job. I would say the same about Obama but what does he do? Hasn't he been running for president for the past two years on the public. To Obama, I would say "Get a real job!". He could always right another book entitled "Why Didn't I Chose Hillary?"

  • Posted By: K Brock @ 09/10/2008 1:15:55 PM

If I was Joe Biden, I wouldn't quit my day job. I would say the same for Obama but sounds like he doesn't have one. He has been running for president on the public dole it seems. I guess he can write a new book entitled, "I wished I had chosen Hillaryj!"

(Remember Obama said in his book "Audacity of Hope", 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction'.....what better place for the Muslins to control our country, than in the office of the President of USA .

    • Posted By: Rowdyboy @ 09/10/2008 9:51:57 AM

rookie, I read the book as well and this is not a quote fro Audacity of Hope. Obviously you have no problem distorting the truth. Either that or you simply could not comprehend what the author was trying to say in his book. By the way what contribution have you made to Amreica lately............

Enter Your Comment ROWDYBOY YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!

  • Posted By: Shhh @ 09/10/2008 11:23:42 AM

Well Rowdyboy you have missed the big picture. Are you American? Just wondering... McCain spent a lot of time as a POW for you and was beaten so badly until both of his arms were broken and a broken leg then thrown into a cell to wither and rot and he still didnt give up any info ... Then he had a chance to come home and what did he do Mr. Rowdyboy? I will tell you... he said no , because there were other soldiers that were there longer than he was so he felt they should go first... Now you tell me if Obama loves his country half as much as McCain. I can tell you he does not! He sat in church for over 20 years listening to Rev. Wright talk about G.D. America! As well as racist remarks about white people! Definatly not president material! I cant believe he has made it this far! And I beg to differ with you on Palins qualities being in the White House.. She is exactly what we need! Tomorrow is September 11th..... dont you remember what happened and how it changed us as a nation! Obama wants to read these killers their rights before they are punished!!! Is he serious? The moranda rights are for Americans only! Not Anti Americans that kill Americans simply for being American! What this comes down to is not a person with chrisma, we have millions of people with that..... it comes down to who would protect America and its people..... John McCain has already proven that!!! And as far as her family.... you should look at your family ... I am sure there are some skeletons, just because everyone has them.... Always remember "People who live in glass houses should'nt throw stones".
    Good Day Mr. Rowdyboy!

Everyone!! Please remember that Gov.Pelin doesn't even possess a passport!! WOW!!! We cannot allow her into office. Gov. Pelin and McCain do not agree on alot of issues, including stem cell research. We cannot be fooled by her presence. The Rep. party believe that women are soo foolish to vote for there party because of Gov. Pelin. We have to prove them wrong!!! McCain is one sneeze from meeting his maker(no disrespect) and we are going to vote Gov. Pelin as vice president..THIS CANNOT HAPPEN PEOPLE...

  • Posted By: vamom @ 09/09/2008 12:18:58 PM

I am a indep who has voted both rep and Dem. I wish people would stop speaking as Reps or Dems but has Amer's, if we really did put Amer first then the ans to what team should be in Washington would be clear. If we made our decision based on fact not feelings then I think we would be better off as a country. We put Bush in office in 2204 not based on policy but fear and he was the one must people felt he was like them, the one you could have a beer with. Look what that kind of thinking got us! Do you know McCain voted against raising the min wage and still says he will keep ti at around $7.00, Obama wants to raise it to around $9.00 and tie in future raises to inflation. Do you know McCain's health care plan? He wants the money he makes avaiable for health care to be considerd as income and taxed, I can't afford that can you? Do you know how he has voted when it comes to the Military and Military families? Do you care? The Reps have been in charge (Pres, House,Sen)of Wash. most of the last 8 years! They have not done right by the Amer people (not the Dems people or the Rep people but the Amer people). We should kick them out and once the Dems have House, Pres, Sen if they don't do right by the people we need to kick them out! We should never show more loyality to a party over whats best for our country.

    • Posted By: chefmaster @ 09/10/2008 10:49:00 AM

I definitely agree vamom...We need to start over and give someone else another chance. I wish there was a worthy independent party..I really like Barrack fresh feel and ideas, not that he's a democrat.

First, to orionspop -- the "library book ban" that Gov. Palin supposedly tried to have banned was from 1996. A close look at the list reveals books on the list that hadn't even been published yet! (Harry Potter, 1998)Guess she was planning ahead? The list looks suspiciously like one found on Google under, "Books Banned at One Time or Another in the United States". Coincidence? I think not. This is only the beginning of the outright lies to be leveled against this woman. What a shame. Now for cleobeo -- from what I've seen, looks like Obambi's camp could be accused of the same, only in reverse! Plenty of african americans at the dem convention -- even nary a single one can state why he's their man or what his qualifications are. Being charismatic and giving a good speech does not a president make!! The problem is, Gov. Palin's got more executive experience and decision-making under her belt than BHO! That will prove problematic to you libs out there, since Gov. Palin is in the SECOND postion on the repub ticket -- not the FIRST! Good luck with that!

    • Posted By: Rowdyboy @ 09/10/2008 10:33:54 AM

What's funny is that you will suffer from the same predicament as everyone else when the Palin/McCain ticket wins. Oh you didn't know that Sarah Palin is the top of the Republican ticket? Check it out. See how much you hear about McCain in the next few weeks. The Republicans have already given up on John McCain and have no placed their bet on Palin to pull the wool over the eyes of the Amreican voter.... Good luck with that...................................................Issues my friend what about the issues????????????

  • Posted By: Rowdyboy @ 09/10/2008 10:08:30 AM

No matter how much the Republican Party promotes Sarah Palin it is still John McCain who is running for President agains barack Obama. Palin is a wonderful distraction brought in for just that reason and who has described herself as an "attack dog with lipstick", indeed a barracuda, fast and vicious....not qualities any well thinking person would want around the Whitehouse. Notice that the Republicans are now pushing a Palin McCain ticket and they want you to believe you are voting for Mccain. Truthfully, both McCain and Palin are nothing more that the Republican Party's attempt to continue the plunder of the country perpetrated un the Bush Administration for another four years. The same group of big money persons who don't understand that the world has changed and who will do anything to keep control of Washington. McCain himself is "Big Money" but he really can't sell. So in comes Palin, the "pit bull with lipstick, the Barracuda, all flash and fancy, suing all the tricks including her family. By the way, if she chooses to put her families business in the public eye then the public has a right to discuss them all they can....... not a good example for any family to follow. "A Shotgun wedding is just that...call it what you may... iSo never mind the flash. Republicans hope that while you are concentrating on Sarah Palins background and big talk John McCain will slip quietly in to the White House......that's the game plan..........Best defence is always a good offence...... watch the weeks ahead as the Palin myth nravels.

  • Posted By: Rowdyboy @ 09/10/2008 9:48:06 AM

No matter how much the Republicans promote Sarah Palin it is still John McCain who is running for President. One McCain is in you will not hear very much about Sarah Palin. In truth she is a very big distraction which is exactly what Republicans want. Make no mistake...this is no Hillary Clinton. This is simply a Baccacuda, attack dog in lipstick(her own words). The way she has flaunted her pregnant daughter and autistic child, used them to get votes is a shame and disgrace. Enough of her. Let's get down to brass tacks......Obama or McCain. Any well thinking intelligent person would immediately see that there is no comparrisn between the two and the John McCain is an old man on his last hurrah. America can't afford to listen to empty promises. If he hasn't accomplished anything is 26 years what makes you think he can do so now? What has changed about John McCain since he put Sarah Palin on his ticket? Absolutely nothing.. other than perhaps he has become more of a liability to the nation. Obama will be the next president of the United States and Joe Biden will be his VP. If not get ready to write Amreica off the world scene in a short time. Under McCain, Washington will attempt to become the IRome of the 21st century. We all know what
happened to Rome and that's change we can't afford to believe in.

Yes Palin is very scary in the fact that she is appealing to women voters, just because she is a woman. She seems be very manipulative, and her values seem to conflict with each other. She stood beside her fellow Alaskans during the press conference on Exxon Valdez fiasco but yet she is pushing for more oil and gas drilling. We should hold her accountable for her decisions. She has promoted aerial hunting of both wolves and bears

    • Posted By: VoteMe08 @ 09/10/2008 4:58:47 AM

She is just another BUSH. We need to keep her out of the office. I am a working mother, all the women I talk to no one really likes her. Women care about education, health care, economy.... McCain/Palin has almost on plan for us and for our future. I am very confident that Obama/Biden will win in Nov. 4th.

These are scary times. I often wonder if these folks believe what they spew out or do they say it for the gullible. It is in style to avoid discussing the issues that affect my family - dwindling economic opportunities, job loss, high energy costs, high food prices, high cost of health care, pro-life only when it is animals on two feet (shoot all 4-legged animals at sight) etc etc. They claim the rest of us are not Christians and that they only knows God's will. Scary times.

What are Obama's Muslim ties, marysusanna? I am an undecided voter and I do not know much about Obama or Palin. I like and respect what I know about McCain, but I am still not sure if I want him for my President. I have spent a lot of wating C-SPAN and other media in an effort to get myself educated on the issues. Everything that I have read and hear thus far tells me that Obama is a Christian. Thanks.

I read this article: http://www.danielpipes.org/article/5845. Interesting take on the whole issue of a theological tradition whereby a child automatically takes on the Islamic religion of the parent. I guess it's sorta like the sins of the father visiting the son. Not sure how that fits with the Born Again theology of Christianity. It is something for me to ponder. Thanks.

McCain Voted in Support of Disabled
Veterans Only 25 Percent of the Time from
2004-2005. While McCain claims he ???has been a leading
advocate??? for veterans with disabilities, statistics show he
supported the Disabled American Veterans??? interests only 25
percent of the time in 2004-2005. In 2006, that figure slipped

National Guard and Reservists. Although his
campaign website devotes a large section to veterans issues,
including expanding benefits for reservists and members
of the National Guard, McCain voted against increasing
spending on the TRICARE program by $20.3 billion
over 10 years to give members of the National Guard and
Reserves and their families greater access to the health
care program. The increase would be offset by a reduction
in tax cuts for the wealthy. (www.johnmccain.com/Informing/

Vote on issues not feelings as a former miliary and wife, sister, daughter of military memner its important to me how Mccain has voted on milt issues. We is using his milt background as a major reason to vote for him.

    Americans respect Sen. John McCain???s
service to our country. When will he start
respecting ours? Although McCain talks about
his support for veterans, he repeatedly votes
against increased funding for veterans??? health
    care???and more.
    .
    McCAIN REPEATEDLY VOTED AGAINST
    IMPROVED BENEFITS FOR VETERANS

Here are a few of his votes as it relates to miltary:

McCain Opposes the 21st Century GI Bill
Because It Is Too Generous. McCain did not
vote on the GI Bill that will provide better educational
opportunities to veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars,
paying full tuition at in-state schools and living expenses
for those who have served at least three years since the
9/11 attacks. McCain said he opposes the bill because he
thinks the generous benefits would ???encourage more people
    to leave the military.??? (S.Amdt. 4803 to H.R. 2642, Vote 137,
    5/22/08; Chattanooga Times Free Press, 6/2/2008; Boston Globe, 5/23/08;
    ABCNews.com, 5/26/08)
    McCain Voted Against Increased Funding
for Veterans??? Health Care. Although McCain
told voters at a campaign rally that improving veterans???
health care was his top domestic priority, he voted against
increasing funding for veterans??? health care in 2004, 2005,
    2006 and 2007. (Greenville News, 12/12/2007; S.Amdt. 2745 to
    S.C.R. 95, Vote 40, 3/10/04; Senate S.C.R. 18, Vote 55, 3/16/05; S.Amdt.
    3007 to S.C.R. 83, Vote 41, 3/14/06; H.R. 1591, Vote 126, 3/29/07)
Opposed an Assured Funding Stream for
Veterans??? Health Care. McCain opposed providing
an assured funding stream for veterans??? health care, taking
into account annual changes in veterans??? population and
    inflation. (S.Amdt. 3141 to S.C.R. 83, Vote 63, 3/16/06)
McCain Voted Against Adding More Than
$400 Million for Veterans??? Care. McCain
was one of 13 Republicans to vote against providing an
additional $430 million to the Department of Veterans
Affairs for outpatient care and treatment for veterans.
    (S.Amdt. 3642 to H.R. 4939, Vote 98, 4/26/06)
Voted Against Establishing a $1 Billion Trust
Fund for Military Health Facilities. McCain
voted against establishing a $1 billion trust fund to improve
military health facilities by refusing to repeal tax cuts for
those making more than $1 million a year. (S.Amdt. 2735 to
    S.Amdt. 2707 to H.R. 4297, Vote 7, 2/2/06)
    McCain Opposed $500 Million for
    Counseling Services for Veterans with
Mental Disorders. McCain voted against an
amendment to appropriate $500 million annually from
2006-2010 for counseling, mental health and rehabilitation
services for veterans diagnosed with mental illness, posttraumatic

You are incorrect to think that only women considering abortion agree to an amniocentesis procedure. Most doctors urge women over 40 to have this done. Even if the lady has strong convictions against abortion, she often chooses to find out whether her baby has Down's Syndrome. This enables her to know what to expect and plan accordingly. I have had several friends who have done the same thing.

Palin for Grand Inquisitor, When does the Inquisition start? If elected, she would be a heartbeat from the presidency. I want the freedom to read any book I please. My wife's body and what she does with it is her business not the governments. All the women I know would never entrust there government to a right wing radical like Palin, nor would I. She puts a pretty face on very ugly policies.

    • Posted By: Marcus CA @ 09/09/2008 12:16:38 AM

Gov. Palin supports the right to choose, but in a different way. She has emphasized her right to choose to have her latest child, even though she knew that it would have Down's Syndrome. Usually, women learn this through their amniocentesis. Usually, because of that procedure's (small) risk to the fetus, women only have that procedure if they are considering aborting their fetus due to a serious birth defect. So, the governor probably should clarify this situation.
