If you want to draw women, there were plenty of seasoned women in the GOP, for example, Kay Bailey Hutchenson. Women with long standing records; not an f'n 18 month Alaskan Hockey Mom Governor!! This is the craziest damn thing i have ever seen in politics.
All McCain did was give the Republican spinners a collective stroke; because Karl Rove, the greatest political game player in modern history, looked absolutely lost this morning trying to justify this disaster. Forget it, McCain just drove 3-5% of his base into a symbolic vote for Bob Barr.

You must be kidding!

This is the dumbest move McCain has made yet. Totally defeating his own foreign experience, Commander in Chief argument against Obama. What, a soccer mom with less than two years experience in state government in a state with less than 800,000 people no less?

On top of that it is just ANOTHER MCCAIN LIE. Why? Because the only reason he picked her for VP was to TRY to dupe more women and get their votes to GET THE POWER OF THE WHITE HOUSE.

Rove backing a no experience woman. Are you kidding me?

John McCain and his advisors could care less about whether she is VP qualified or not. All John McCain cares about is himself and the Oval Office. And it is strikingly clear that with this pick, by his willingness to put this person a heartbeat from the Presidency, he is ready to sell his own soul and sell out the entire country to get it.

I think that John McCain have picked an AWFUL VP. Frankly, right now I'm completely puzzled by his choice. It's simply inadequate.

Hillary didn't set a standard for American women in National politics! There is only the Hillary rendition of Americans Suck First and the Let Wing thought Obamas ' version of Americans Suck First was "better."

Perhaps the other Big Name Republicans did not want to have the hassles of campaigning for a Long Shot Ticket...............I just think that the blundering ineptness of McCain and the the inexperience of Palin wil cause this ticket to start unravelling starting a few days after the RNC like a big ball of yarn falling down a flight of stairs......2008...Not a good year for the GOP.
