    Zombiehero-where are you?

  • Posted By: wilsan @ 09/05/2008 12:28:28 PM

Hey Alter. It's Friday. Sarah Palin is flying pretty high.

Johnathan Alter still looks a vicious, hateful, 'in the tank' , Liberal hack. And a 'wrong' hack.

Except for your viciousness and deliberate lying, I would have sympathy for you - but you CHOOSE to lie.

It's only going to get worse for you - hope you have a long contract.

Still a very close election. Biden isn't a foreign policy genius either. During the debates, he promoted a three way division in Iraq between Sunni/Shia/Kurd - a sure recipe for disaster in that it would set up a guaranteed battle for Iraq's resources in a Shia dominated military and literally divide the country for all time. The press is unabashedly requiring more of Palin than Biden and doing its best to set Palin up for failure in the minds of the viewers. It will be interesting to see if MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachael Maddow will be led off the set in a straight jackets if McCain/Palin ultimately win.

Part 1 Who got Obama started in his political career? William Ayers, of course, is the Weather Underground bomber. And Obama began his career, his coming out party in 1995, and Ayers and Bernadine Dorns home.
And then for, you know, some 20 years, Obama has been working with Ayers, certainly since 1995, on a series of foundations: the Annenberg Foundation and the Woods Foundation. The boards of directors together, or in the Annenberg Foundation, Ayers created it, and Obama was on it. And together they spent the money of these foundations to implement their radical socialist agenda.
A lot of people say, no, they just know each other. They???re not friends. Just because -- you know, just because they worked on boards together.
Obama was in 1995 going to take the seat of Alice Palmer, who is also an extreme socialist. She???s an African-American who had actually gone to Russia and had attended communist party meetings and reported on them. And it was all very much of a leftist gathering.
Ayers and Dorns were like the stamp of approval on Obama, introducing them to their click of leftist friends for funding and for advancing his candidacy. So that very beginning was a chosen intentionally association with Ayers and Dorns to launch Obama`s career, and Obama knew exactly what he was doing picking him.
Senator Obama is the one who???s saying, "This is just another guy in my neighborhood," but in fact, that???s not true at all. It may turn out to be that they had a much closer relationship through their work together on the Annenberg Challenge to create their ideas to control the government and its people that???s the challenge!
His agenda -- I believe, in 2001, in which Ayers was unrepentant, saying that he wished he bombed more. And obama???s greatest influence is
Saul Alinsky he was a radical socialist organizer. His main book was "Rules for Radicals." His methodology was you go in as a community organizer. That means, really, a rabble-rouser.
You rub raw the discontent of the community, almost in a communist sense. You find class antagonisms. You learn to speak the grievances in the people???s own logic and language, and then you go for radical redistribution of income and wealth through gaming power and mobilizing the community. Making them think that your working for them by doing small stuff that seems to help but ultimately you gain far more than the people you help it???s a trick to get them on your side because it seems you care about them and in turn they move you to the top of the political ladder!

    • Posted By: willnotvoteobama @ 09/05/2008 9:56:49 AM

      Part 2???
The -- the connection to Saul Alinsky. In
Fact, Alinsky had change as his mantra. And by it, he meant radical socialist redistribution of income from the haves to the have-nots. That was the primary purpose.
Alinsky dedicated "Rules to Radicals" to Lucifer, whom he called the first radical. And he said it was a Machiavellian approach, which means you???ll lie, do whatever you need to do to get power, because the haves were going to lose to the have-nots, who were being championed by this community organizer. (Obama)
The theme is common that Senator Obama made in San Francisco about people are bitter, clinging to God and to guns. That is actually a paraphrase of something Saul Alinsky wrote in that same book, in "Rules for Radicals."
A very condescending view that he has of the middle class as people who are lost, who -- he says that they turn bitter, because they cling to certain fixed points that are elusory, but very real to them. They ask questions that Alinsky considers meaningless, like what does our flag mean to you? Interestingly, something that was just said at the Republican convention. That???s Alinsky. You know, obama???s his influence coming through.
Just take a look at his taxation policies. He wants to increase capital gains, because he says they???re unfair.
The point is that he clings to this relationship. And he???s even defending Ayers now. His campaign is defending Ayers, despite the fact that he???s an unrepentant terrorist who set bombs and may, according to congressional testimony, may have even been involved or had knowledge of a bombing that killed somebody. That???s the important thing.
Alinsky taught to say whatever is necessary to get power. That???s the Machiavellian approach. When Obama articulates policy positions, especially moving to the center, it may be completely calculated. We will not see the real Obama until its too late then we are going to be stuck in a radical system that will take a civil war to get out of !

UH OH....looks like HolyRoller was right again.....wonder what the BarackStar is thinking right now??

Is Rezko working with the feds?
SOURCES: | He's been back at courthouse numerous times

August 28, 2008 Chicago Sun Times

"As his sentencing nears, pressure is mounting on Tony Rezko to cooperate with federal investigations into some of the highest-profile politicians in the state -- including Gov. Blagojevich.

Two more trials -- one in Chicago next spring, one in Las Vegas -- hover over the Wilmette businessman and onetime prolific political fund-raiser for the governor and BARACK OBAMA.

Tony Rezko was inside the federal courthouse as recently as Aug. 14, sources for the Sun Times say.

Now, sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times that Rezko has been seen at the federal courthouse as many as a dozen times since his June conviction. He's been held since then at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago.

Rezko hasn't had to be back in court since a jury convicted him of corruption charges involving state deals. And his scheduled Sept. 3 sentencing was recently pushed back to Oct. 28".....ONE WEEK BEFORE ELECTION....hmmm...just a coincidence???

WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM FOT TONY = FEDERAL CHARGES FOR HUSSEIN

Repug Sick freakoos are so full of yourselves continuing to instill fear in to the American electorate with sickening sword rattling. How dare they? Do they actually think they are the only ones who remember. How can they belittle the American people with such despicable behavior. No body in this country and I mean NOBODY in this country will ever forget September 11, 2001 and how the Bush administration with John Mccain's staunch support ruined our country in the aftermath, destroyed all of the goodwill expressed from around the world by their strong arm undiplomatic foreign policy initiatives and continue to this day to sacrifice our bravest Americans for a lie. With the circus we all witnessed tonight and the previous 3 days it is plain to see that "McCain't and isn't able to Govern" will continue business as usual. What a collection of demented individuals. If anybody has forgotten September 11, 2001 it is the Right wing Nut Cases

What a bunch of seriously ill cult follower you are!

    • Posted By: Pallisor @ 09/05/2008 8:12:34 AM

How dare they address terror? How stupid of you! Obama addresses terror himself, but it's not OK for McCain to do the same?

And you're clueless about Iraq... please, address a few soldiers there with your ignorant rant.

BTW, please show us your posts where you slammed Obama for addressing terror.

You call people demented. What an arrogant, ignorant, angry little boy you are.

      Republicans have forgotten 9/11? Laughable.

  • Posted By: bonnetteblj @ 09/05/2008 12:23:48 AM

Tonight, at the Republican Convention, being televised by all major networks and major
network news stations, the Republicans ran a video on 9/11. The fact that they are
politicizing 9/11 and trying to use same scare tactics to get voters to vote for John
McCain, as the Bush Admin. after 9/11 and in the 2004 election, is disgusting and
    dishonorable!

The Bush Admin. and John McCain have both said they will get Osama Bin Laden and
the people who did the 9/11 attacks. Neither has done anything remotely close to
    going after the people.

Now, since the Republicans don't believe this election is about issues, they are playing
the fear card which worked so well for the Bush Admin. McCain said tonight that
he is a 'Maverick' and 'there will be change'. There is NO CHANGE with these people
who continue to play the same old games instead of fixing anything in our country.

Jobs, healthcare, the economy, ending the Iraq war, fixing our infrastructure, finding
new renewable energy sources and limiting our dependence on foreign oil, restoring
our civil liberties and Constitutional rights, etc. There are SO many problems, real
problems that need addresssing. Senator Obama was right when he said 'McCain
just does not get it.' The Republicans think they will win by fear tactics again,
but they may just be surprised. The American people have finally caught on and
that is why Senator Obama is so popular. He offers REAL CHANGE and the
opportunity for all of us to get our country back to prosperity, peace and
    happiness!

    • Posted By: Pallisor @ 09/05/2008 7:55:42 AM

Of course terror should be politicized. Unlike you, most of us believe terror is still a threat. Even Obama can see that. And, please get your facts straight before you babel nonsense in your posts. The Bush administration hasn't done anything about going after BL? He kicked his ass, and the coward ran and hid in an allied nation, and in all probability is now dead. Either way, he's been ineffective for eight years. What do you want us to do, invade Pakistan?

And did you not watch McCain's speech last night? He addressed everything you mentioned.

  • Posted By: glimpse @ 09/05/2008 5:20:06 AM

The republicans got revenge on the barry biased MSM by bombarding andrea mitchell with balloons. It's hysterical. Hope it makes it on you tube.

  • Posted By: katvan @ 09/05/2008 2:47:06 AM

if gov palin's speech sucked then why did barry have to suck it up and ask sen clinton for help campaigning?

    • Posted By: sharenews @ 09/05/2008 3:35:35 AM

Katvan, what do you mean about Obama asking Hillary campaigning for him . . .Im not up on this stuff. Was Hillary to campaign thru him getting elected as the Dem. Nominee at the Dnc and after that he was on his own? Are you telling me now he is asking for more support from Hillary as he goes into the GE this fall???? I cant imagine he would be that desperate to pursue Hillarys support AFTER being elected as the official nominee after the Dnc . . . or is Obama that desperate as he moves into the GE with his ticket against the new ticket of McCain-Palin ticket?

      • Posted By: glimpse @ 09/05/2008 4:07:36 AM

Sen Clinton is headed to Florida. Obama camp said it had been "planned for a while" not a reaction to Gov Palin's speech. axelrod is freaked and clueless because he had ever ran against the GOP.

        • Posted By: glimpse @ 09/05/2008 4:22:53 AM

e.g. using the race card against republicans.

  • Posted By: dick kay @ 09/05/2008 1:42:10 AM

Alter if that was a belly flop then barry is a flounder. That is how to give a speech. She wasn't a tennis match teleprompter reading of a savior preaching to his adoring flock. Her teleprompter "mysteriously" messed up but she kept right on going. Have we heard barry do any ad lib? Change? 35 years in Washington vs never having set foot in Washington. She has charisma and Barry has a mesmerized cult following. The fawning MSM's baa baa baa-ing has turned into waa waa whining.

    • Posted By: sharenews @ 09/05/2008 2:37:25 AM

Yes, dick kay, I had no idea that the teleprompter was not working like it should , if at all, until I heard today on CNN that this was the case. What a pro. She knows her stuff inside and out to continue on as she did in front of this huge crowd , to the point that no one even noticed that the teleprompter was an issue. . .

. . .on the other hand, here is how Obama reacted when HIS teleprompter also got fluky:

      Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Great post. You know, I had no idea at all that Sarah was dealing with a problem with the teleprompters until I was listening to it on CNN later today. I could in no way see any signs of any flustering on her part given the teleprompter was (mysteriously) not working as it should.

Here is how Obama reacted when HIS teleprompter went awry:

Wow what a liberal rag Newsweek has become no wonder it is in the gutter..lol I'm amazed at some of the comments here God where are peoples morals?? OOPS I said God sorry I might be banned..I was watching the RNC and wondered who the loonies were who interrupted the convention and had to be dragged out by securtity, I noticed it didn't happen during the DNC I figure the conservatives had more class than to stoop to that low level and I guess I was right. I will say I have never been more inspired than when I was listening to Sarah Palin's speech what an honor to have her running for VP. I am so proud and I'm an independent so go figure. Obviously it wasn't the fireworks and rock show of the Dems but I'm sure were all smart enough to see who needs the fireworks to win and who can win on common sense.

    • Posted By: sharenews @ 09/05/2008 1:24:52 AM

Hi kim, Im an independent also and felt the same way. Palin did a great speech last nite. She even thru in a dig about the MainStreamMedia (might as well as they are all for Obama anyways) and was wonderful how the subtle innuendos about Obamas experience, etc. were woven in and stated with a smile on her poised face. She won me over the other nite. Now the next round. How she will hold up against Biden in a debated. Im pretty confident she will hold her own. Cant wait.

  • Posted By: americaisarepublicnotademocracy @ 09/04/2008 9:07:10 PM

    Hey kboogie,
Don't look now but even left leaning CBS has it 42-42 and that is before the convention is even over. Once the Palin impact is factored in in a few days I think you will see McCain ahead or tied........... WHAT? How the heck can THE ONE not be winning by 20 points? A CNN commentator said the GOP is no longer relevant. Didn't you small town ignorant bible beaters get the memo? You must elect THE ONE. YOU MUST. According to the Philadelphia Daily News if you disobey there will be a race war and riots in the streets because THE ONE MUST, MUST be president. If you don't vote for THE ONE then you clearly are just a racist cracker who is not enlightened enough to realize that electing a radical, no experience, no judgement, terrorist associating, racist church attending leftist is America's destiny. Now do as you are told or suffer the consequences............

    • Posted By: Kboogie @ 09/04/2008 9:24:47 PM

Nice rant, but it doesn't change the facts. Let me make it perfectly clear for ya:

      September 4, 2008
Gallup Daily: No Dent in Obama Lead So FarObama holds 7 point lead.
Barack Obama continues to hold a lead over John McCain, 49% to 42%, in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update.

      Uh-oh...don't stop there.........

Rasmussen reports:The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Barack Obama attracting 47% of the vote while John McCain earns 43%. When "leaners" are included, it???s Obama 50%, McCain 45%.

      wait...theres more........

The RCP average: reports a 4.4% national average BUT......shows a 238 to 185 Electoral College lead fro Obama.

Don't waste your hand strength on the keys, anymore. Either way, you lose.

      • Posted By: americaisarepublicnotademocracy @ 09/04/2008 10:20:47 PM

No, my friend. You are the one who is going to lose. Read the analysis further. The tracking polls note that the numbers don't factor in the Palin speech or the McCain speech tonight. Anyone with sixth grade math skills knows that the RCP average does not immediately show dramatic change because it averages polls from the past two to three weeks. If don't believe Palin has not changed the game you are spending too much time at Daily Kos. The reality is that the fear that THE ONE could lose is too much to bear and that fear is manifesting itself in more and more angry rants. The Dems are acting like a caged wild animal that is striking out in uncontrolled fury. Prepare for yet another defeat - that will be 8 in the last 11. Damn. That is a sad record. You would think that only getting 50% or more of the vote in the last 37 elections would be enough evidence that maybe your policies stink. Now go back to Daily Kos and find some good quotes you can use about how Republicans are evil racist crackers who are bible beating rednecks with IQs under 50.

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 09/05/2008 12:01:35 AM

No my friend, Obama wins. Face reality

  • Posted By: kimmie66 @ 09/04/2008 10:46:00 PM

What a left wing liberal rag you've got to be kidding me right?? You all are the ones encouraging the lunatics that disrupt the RNC and have to be dragged out how embarrasing for you all you should be ashamed. I'm always curious why we don't have disruptions during the DNC is it because maybe conservatives have more class and brains?? Don't know I'm a registered independent now all I know is I would never align myself with the leftist. Once last comment I have never heard a more inspiring speech than Gov. Sarah Palin gave so be very afraid crazies.

  • Posted By: IndependentForever @ 09/04/2008 10:29:42 PM

    Pia1981,

At least be decent enough to denounce it. That is a start.

Look Indi..posters here can post what they want.. as you know it is called Freedom of Speech. I don't condone it nor excuse it. You and others like you who keep posting about this over and over are only causing more friction. I see no solution to this.. do you? If you are bothered by certain comments, then by all means, report abuse.

Dear Editor - How about checking the population of Wasilla as stated in this article. Isn't it 9000 as opposed to 7000. A difference of 2000 may be small compared to the 300 Million, but doesn't it draw attention to the the authenticity and "attention to detail" of the article?

    Hey Kboogie,
Looks like you spoke to soon. Left leaning CBS has it at 42-42 and that is before the convention is even over. The tracking polls don't have the Palin impact factored in yet. Take a look in a few days and I think you will see McCain either tied or ahead. My God, how can that be? Don't people realize that THE ONE cannot lose. Don't they realize that to not vote for THE ONE is to be racist? Don't they realize that, according the Philadelphia Daily News, that if Obama loses there will a race war and riots in the streets? You small town bible beaters better wake up and vote for THE ONE or his supporters are going to blow this country apart. Vote for THE ONE or America will suffer the consequences.

      Good luck w/ that! LOL!!
