    The problem with Obama is he lowered the standard for the Presidency in terms of experience, ethics (Wright, Ayers, Rezko) and gender relations. He made up for it because he was a young rockstar. So when Palin came along, who is also a young rockstar, only female, she outshone him because she is marginally more experienced, marginally more ethical, and marginally less anti-women.

    I agree. If they focused on not thinking of this electron as game and thought of it as our actual future's at stake, then maybe they'd make smarter decisions. Maybe they wouldn't spend an entire speech that could've been used on issues, to attack and utterly mock a candidate and his supporters. Maybe the Pundit s wouldn't spend all night and day talking about how great the speech was in delivery, but actually look at the substance of it, or th lack thereof. Maybe instead of salivating over the thought that once again Obama might lose, they could spend some time actually who this person is that he might be "losing" to,. Maybe mainstream press would actually do their job and stop picking up every right-wing talking point, sexism sexism, elitism, mommy wars, and small-town-itis.. Maybe they would realize their hypocrisy in lavishing over the Palin speech yet Obama has been giving great speeches since the campaigns began, & he's yet to be crossed off of most of the media's "empty rhetoric" list, & Palin in her first speech is a winner? Hows that fair or balanced? This whole "liberal" media thing a myth.... it doesn't exist, not mainstream anyway!! The only thing they are liberal with is their criticism of Obama.

    Considering how busy she is, perhaps a spotlight on family will remind her that the one she has needs her more than the GOP.
