This is what supporters of the McCain campaign are looking for. A man that has perpetuated job losses and accepts foreign campaign contributions, which is illegal, to which McCain is also a co-sponsor of the campaign finance reform law. McCain is a crook. No straight talk comes from a crooked person. He is full of hot air. Youse GOP'ers need to stay on the porch for the upcoming season.

Newsweek's headline for this McCain story is "HIDDEN DEPTHS."

    Should it not be :

    "Fears About a Would-Be Leader???s Mental Health"?
(Headline for story about Pakistan's leader-in waiting).
When I saw this story, I thought it was about MccAIN.

Built in quality is correct .Cause he did not learn corruption at the academy.

  • Posted By: BAPPA @ 09/03/2008 3:12:23 AM

SELDOM DO WE GET A CANTADATE WITH SUCH BUILT IN QUALITY AS JOHN MCCAIN. THE DEMS CANNOT PRECEIVE THIS TYPE OF QUALITY. THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO LOOK FOR IT. GOD BLESS JOHN MCCAIN AND HIS FORFATHERS FOR MAKING OUR COUNTRY STRONG., ANC BLESS JOHN FOR TRYING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY..

    • Posted By: dking312 @ 09/03/2008 3:54:50 AM

Yeah that good old wait until the last minute and make me a puppet to try and win quality!

Mccain ain't thinking about you or I. All he wants to do is "say he's president". What a joke.

Oh, Palin's daughter has "chosen" to keep her child. She gets in, noone else will have that choice.....

But at least HER daughter was afforded that luxary. I don't care that the daughter was pregnant, but what mother can leave their child with down syndrome and just be gone like that? Is the dad a bitchy guy who doesn't work? WTF?

I couldn't leave my newborn like that. Kids have important bonds they are supposed to be forming at that age.

Why does Newsweek continue to call McCain a maverick. In his acceptance speech last week, Obama pointed out that McCain sided with Bush 90% of the time. (The real record varies from 90 to 95 %.)
This is not a maverick. Can journalists every get the facts straight.

As for Palin, new reports are coming out about the number of earmarks she lobbied for - millions of dollars of earmarks. In fact, Alaska receives more federal funds per capita than any other state.

Again, get the facts straight. Newsweek as well as the broadcast media are misleading the public.

Officials of the Alaskan Independence Party say that Palin was once so independent, she was once a member of their party, which, since the 1970s, has been pushing for a legal vote for Alaskans to decide whether or not residents of the 49th state can secede from the United States.

And while McCain's motto -- as seen in a new TV ad -- is "Country First," the AIP's motto is the exact opposite -- "Alaska First -- Alaska Always."

    About Brtistol Palin's pregnancy:
No caring, decent parent is going to turn their children into robots.
Even the child of a minister will leave the church. Abstinence was
the only thing we had years ago and it worked (believe it or not, there was a time
when there were no birth control pills). It unfortunately is a different world
    today.
Teenagers( too many of whom tend to act irresponsibly) are now all of a sudden going
to be fastidious about using "protection"? I don't think so. Sex Education and condoms
won't put out any fires. In fact they contribute to the sexual inferno in our culture.
The positive note here is that Bristol Palin' child is not a "mistake" or a blob
of protoplasm as too many on the left would view it.
I don't think it says all that much about Mr. Obama either that he would let his
kids listen to the misogynist rapper Snoop Dog or consider a future pregnancy
by his daughters to be a mistake to be terminated.

Cindy McCain was asked if Sarah Palin had any foreign experience. She said yes she does. They asked her how could she have any foreign experience because she just got her passport in 07. Cindy McCain said, she has foreign experience because Alaska is close to Russia...........um.............somebody help me out here. Cindy, please go back to your plastic surgeon and leave the politics to your husband.

Senator McCain. Put your arms around Palin and say: "America meet America" Obama meet your worse nightmare. You are right Barry this election is not about you. It is about America and Americans want nothing to do with your radical, racist, anachronistic view of the world. We do not want what you and your Madame DeFarge "want" for America.

Can we please have the news media leave this 17th year old girl alone. All parents that have had to deal with a teenage pregency knows how hard this is on their daughter, can you imagine having the world discussing this as if this is the most important issue America has on it agenda. We need to be talking about our Economic, Engery and Medical Insurance issues and what McCain and Obama plan to do to fix these issues in the next 4 years. Thank you Obama for your statement regarding this being a "family" issue and not a policical issue. Now how do we get the news media to focus on the major issues we are facing?

    • Posted By: chindognyc @ 09/02/2008 6:26:23 PM

      17tn.....not 17th bobbiel.

  • Posted By: chindognyc @ 09/02/2008 6:17:50 PM

Sarah Palin and her husband were members of the AIP (Alaskan Independence Party). This was a party that hated America and wanted to become it's own Party. What should America think about this. It is very scary.

  • Posted By: chindognyc @ 09/02/2008 6:11:36 PM

Obama: B.A. in political science with a specialization in international relations from Columbia University.

Palin: Wasilla High School, captain of the state-champion basketball team. Miss Wasilla, runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant, also Miss Congeniality, although that is now disputed.
    Him: Ivy League degree.
    Her: tiara.

    Experience without Judgement = incompetence!

    Obama '08

    • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 09/02/2008 4:46:57 PM

No experience WITHOUT Judgement = Idiot Obama and everybody who follow him.

The FUNNY thing is she isn't any LESS experienced than Obama. Let's see community organizer and when Illinois senator he didn't vote on most of the votes, probably because he didn't understand the issues and the same thing as US Senator.

At least during HER job she showed up and WORKED! Not something you can say Obama did!

      • Posted By: jnakhoul @ 09/02/2008 5:34:07 PM

yeah because governing some backwater post in alaska, qualifies you for the office of VP, my ass. you seem oblivious to any opinion thats not yours, or for that matter makes any sense

      Amen

Mr. Obama again tried to distance himself from Mr. Ayers today. "The Mr. Ayers portrayed by MSBC is not the Mr. Ayers I knew. I met Mr. Ayers at my home many years ago. I remember that we had ordered some chicken from Leon's on Stoney Island. When he told me that he was sorry about his group's terrorist activities, I assumed he mean that he was remorseful. I did not realize he meant he was sorry he had not
killed and maimed more Americans. I totally renounce this unrepentant terrorist. "

This is for careerdaytrader, FIrst of all, do not be a hater, secondly, I think you need to learn a little more about Ms. Palin before you get on the bandwagon. Go to Huffingtonpost.com. There is a whole page dedicated to VP Palin. If you are truly interested in Obama's accomplishments instead of just repeating some conservative rightwing talking points, go to Wikepdia.com, DailyKos.com, Senator Obama's legislative record/bills found here: http://tpzoo.wordpress.com/..., oops, but that would actually call for you thinking for yourself. I got your idiot right here and raise you a McCain. A noun, a verb, a POW. LOL.

  • Posted By: stevef.clark @ 09/02/2008 4:54:50 PM

The lucky thing is that either Mac or Obama can't do any worse than Bush has.

  • Posted By: stevef.clark @ 09/02/2008 4:52:57 PM

I fail to see how being a POW qualifies anyone as a president. If anything, it may be a hold back since he could have "flashbacks" to being in Hanoi and do things a sane (person in right mind) would not do.

  • Posted By: peomo @ 09/02/2008 3:32:10 PM

This is the height of irresponsibility on the part of McCain to have chosen Sarah Palin to be his VP without proper background, which will definitely hurt the Republican in November 4 election. Thanks to McCain and he alone has to explain this.

  • Posted By: peomo @ 09/02/2008 3:25:21 PM

Sarah Palin should be looking after her new born baby and not involved in compaigning with McCain who's jugement is now questioned.
