As it stand right now the McCain Campaign is struggling to the point of losing the election. Even if the polls boaster they are closing the gap, we all know that isn't true. McCain could easily lose in an electoral landslide. I must say, I too, like so many of you laughed so hard , a few times even, at McCain's choice for VP and the speech she gave. That speech seemed to have a juvenile tone to it. It was like a person interviewing for a typical everyday -Joe job. When I stopped laughing I felt sad for Mrs. Palin when I realized how serious this choice is and why McCain selected Mrs. Palin to be his VP while passing on more seasoned candidates. Here's why McCain selected Palin. You see it doesn't matter who Palin is, as long as she is a women. It doesn't matter if she is or isn't qualified. It doesn't matter if McCain doesn't know her or if he disagrees with her. The idea (strategy) was formulated before McCain and his advisers chose Mrs. Palin. The only question was which woman will he choose. A pipe line from Canada to Alaska made the choice easier. The McCain strategy is to select a women (any women) to implement a well thought out plan. McCain's secret weapon is (a women ) operation "Tear Drop".

Laffy, can you be responsible for what your pastor says? Neither can Sarah Palin or anyone else. Some pastors are wonderful people, and some are the most opinionated people on earth---just like any other human. We--all of us, can only be responsible for one person's actions or thoughts on this planet---ourselves. Even our children are individuals in their own right, and no matter how well they have been taught, theres a very good chance that, once they reach an age of making their own choices about some things, that they may, sometimes make the wrong ones. Its called cause & effect--we reap the rewards or pay the consequenses caused by our choices. A pastor is not exempt from having their own opinions, so most of us have learned to take that part of our church that is good and use our own judgement about those things which are strickly a human opinion. Even nice people, sometimes do un-nice things, but, seldom, does a bad person do a nice thing. What I'm trying to say here, is that we have to allow for humaness, even in our pastors, who may be, otherwise nice people.

You rather have an arsenal of weapons in your home. Well instead of spending 1 trillion dollars for a war you voted for, why not spend that trillion dollars on the people which means help everyone. By the way, the 1 trillion dollars bill has to be repayed to the chinese, because nothing is free and what it means that yes you may pay more taxes but you should have thought of that before you elected a war monger... and if you elect another war monger, your taxes will go even higher. Barack Obama has stated that he knows there is a big difference in rural America and in cities where they are trying to keep gangs and criminals from having AK47's. From what I have read, his position on the Second Ammendment is actually very close to Scalia's. Remember he taught Constitutional Law . From what I have heard him say and from what I have read, he isn't looking to take guns from citizens and supports the right to own them. I can understand when cities with crime problems are trying to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and gangs. I don't think we would see any big changes in current gun laws.

Being a Constitutional lawyer, Mr. Obama knows what it will mean if we should lose our second Amendment right.
These 12 Bill of Rights, of which only 10 were approved in 1787 were given to the states to protect their values and rights against the Dictatorship of the new Federal govenment.
