Lets face it her speech was so well rehearsed that you could almost see her counting the timing of each word. I will wait until she is in a situation where she is without script and pressed with hard questions about her beliefs and politics to make my decision.

From the reactions I have seen on the internet comments and around town, it seems to me that the pundits and media liked the speech more than citizens did. People are talking about how arrogant and mean it sounded

if she's all for the environment, why does she keep popping babies, that isnt ecologically sound. why have amneosentisis if you have no plans of aborting a pregnancy? to place this woman in a position of being a "heart beat" from the presidency is an outrage to the american people. heading up the alaskan national guard is NOT military experience.mccain has melanoma, it recurs and is fatal. do you really think he showed great decision making by choosing her? her religious stands are more cultish than christian. she calls herself a christian, yet she shows no love for gays, lesbians and ts, also god's children. what a

While it is expected that the VP candidate's job at a convention is to throw red meat to the audience,one would expect a more gentile approch from a lady and hockey-mom. (mayb she thought that is where she was; in which she should be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.)

Be that as it may , she was competent in her delivery and speech bold if that is what social consevative family value persons value and want.

However it was appaling to see her 5 month old baby to be passed around like a beer bottle from the lap of Cindy MCain to her pregnant teenage daughter then to her putative partner and then to Mr. Palin nd then back again ad nauseum All this in evening hours in a raucus hall with powerful lights beaming in the poor baby's face. If she did that, you libs would accuse her of hiding her teen daughter as a disgrace. Palin's speech was delivered in a very rigid manner and lacked any spontaneity. She is good a delivering simple lines but is really challenged when faced with a grammatically complex sentence. I give her a C+ but confess that I am biased in favor speakers who have some intellectual content to backstop their speeches. I also don't get it that she blasts Obama and Biden for lacking executive experience but conspicuously overlooks the fact that her own presidential candidate, McCain lacks any executive experience and never had a command position even in the military.

Lets face the truth of it not the media hype,Palin's is not a very good speaker with a rather irrating voice,her speech was as flat as any I have heard outside of Joe Liberman's.While the press and media try to make a case for her the facts remain she should have left the "bridge to nowhere" remain there for its to easy to prove she's being untruthful about it,the pipeline which she gave to a company from Canada rather than work for American workers she should have stayed away from,over all her speech rates nothing more than a C- and thats the truth...

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT SOCIALIST VIEWS PEOPLE THINK THE DEMOCRATS STAND FOR. FAIR WAGES, CIVIL RIGHTS, EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN, THE RIGHT TO WORSHIP AS WE CHOOSE, THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, ENDING AN UNJUST WAR, WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS, REAL PROTECTION AGAINST FUTURE TERRORIST ATTACKS, AFFORDABLE COLLEGE,-DO SOME PEOPLE REALLY BELEIVE THAT THESE IDEAS ARE SO FAR LEFT THAT THAY ARE SOCIALIST POLICIES?
