Biden said the Democratic campaign was not criticizing Palin over her family.

"It is off limits to talk about her family," the Delaware senator said in an interview with "Fox and Friends" on Fox News Channel. "Every family has difficulty as they're raising their children. I think the way she's handled it has been absolutely exemplary."

Asked if some of the criticism aimed at Palin has been sexist, Biden said: "Yes, by you guys in the media."

The McCain camp expressed satisfaction with the generally positive reception that Palin's speech had received from the public.

"I have no doubt that Gov. Sarah Palin today is a household name," McCain campaign manager Rick Davis told reporters in a conference call.

Davis said he wasn't too concerned that McCain's speech would be up against the New York Giants-Washington Redskins kickoff game to the NFL season. In this day and age "news travels fast" Davis said, suggesting even those who miss McCain's speech were likely to catch up quickly.

Palin religiously believes that these are the "end times." So she is okay with American or the world being distroyed, because Christians will go to heaven.

Obviously, Palin will not keep us safe from terrorism.

    Think this over.

The McCain camp rolled out their vp so poorly. What did they think would happen when they introduced a complete unknown to the country and asked us to accept her as vice president. Then, instead of acknowledging they screwed (which of course would never), they blame the media for being curious and demanding answers to serious questions. We have watched all these candidates for almost two years tell us how they would improve the country. What has she said? Virtually nothing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Oh how sweet, Grandpa John is doleing out hugs and kisses to the Palin children. Look, and he even brought birthday cards.... oh wait, those are the "excutive experience" and "gender" card.
How about we actually hear from the campaign about something other than Jesus, guns, gays, babies, and "stop picking on our girl!!" sexism. Last I checked, there are half a dozen issues that rated as more important to the nation in this election. I dont care that shes woman, or that her daughter is pregnant, or that she has an infant with special needs of her own; i care about her complete lack of any stated policy opinions on anything but conservative wedge issues. Give me something other than hurried up talking points, and human intrest stories for christs sake. Thats the problem, not even the Republican pundits can give exact accomplishments or qualifications, only vauge generalities.
