It's a SIMPLE decision this November!

If you want TAXES low, SMALL Government, STRONG stock market and economy and the GROWTH of jobs you vote Mc Cain.

If you are a high school dropout, smoked pot and are a bit lazy, you don't like YOUR life and you blame Bush vs taking personal responsibility. If you feel its ok to steal from hard working ultra successful people to give YOURSELVES free welfare (health insurance). If you feel EMBARRASSED about America like Obama does, then Obama is your man!

It's capitalism vs socialism this year. America vs Europe. Are YOU an American? If you like Europe so much MOVE there!

of the last 5 Republican presidents which one(s) had budget deficits throughout their terms? (Even when Republicans held congress as well...
And for the bonus round, which one(s) actually left the federal government larger than he found it?

      Jeopordy theme music......

Actually the answer to both questions is all of them. So much for small government and fiscal responsibility. Instead of tax and spend we got borrow and spend. Expect more of the same with McCain.
And so,how did we get the money to cover the deficits and increased spending for the ever-larger government? Did we increase revenues and responsibly pay our way? No, we did not. We put it all on the old VISA card. Yep we borrowed a ton of money from our bestest buddies ??? China and Saudi Arabia, etc. and plan to leave these tab to our kids. And now we get to divert hundreds of billions of dollars a year to our bestest buddies to service the debt.
If you are an american you will say no the same-o same-o.

Why wish Palin the best of luck? How about wishing us the best of luck? We will need it if this ever comes to pass. We will be the laughingstock of the world. Bush was bad enough - but here we have an under-educated parochial go-go boots chick headed for the White House! Great work, Republicans. But we should not have expected anything different from the party that brought us W.

After unleashing Guiliani, Graham, Palin, etc. and their tirades of hate, McCain call for an end to partisanship. LOL

Part 1 Who got Obama started in his political career? William Ayers, of course, is the Weather Underground bomber. And Obama began his career, his coming out party in 1995, and Ayers and Bernadine Dorns home.
And then for, you know, some 20 years, Obama has been working with Ayers, certainly since 1995, on a series of foundations: the Annenberg Foundation and the Woods Foundation. The boards of directors together, or in the Annenberg Foundation, Ayers created it, and Obama was on it. And together they spent the money of these foundations to implement their radical socialist agenda.
A lot of people say, no, they just know each other. They???re not friends. Just because -- you know, just because they worked on boards together.
Obama was in 1995 going to take the seat of Alice Palmer, who is also an extreme socialist. She???s an African-American who had actually gone to Russia and had attended communist party meetings and reported on them. And it was all very much of a leftist gathering.
Ayers and Dorns were like the stamp of approval on Obama, introducing them to their click of leftist friends for funding and for advancing his candidacy. So that very beginning was a chosen intentionally association with Ayers and Dorns to launch Obama`s career, and Obama knew exactly what he was doing picking him.
Senator Obama is the one who???s saying, "This is just another guy in my neighborhood," but in fact, that???s not true at all. It may turn out to be that they had a much closer relationship through their work together on the Annenberg Challenge to create their ideas to control the government and its people that???s the challenge!
His agenda -- I believe, in 2001, in which Ayers was unrepentant, saying that he wished he bombed more. And obama???s greatest influence is
Saul Alinsky he was a radical socialist organizer. His main book was "Rules for Radicals." His methodology was you go in as a community organizer. That means, really, a rabble-rouser.
You rub raw the discontent of the community, almost in a communist sense. You find class antagonisms. You learn to speak the grievances in the people???s own logic and language, and then you go for radical redistribution of income and wealth through gaming power and mobilizing the community. Making them think that your working for them by doing small stuff that seems to help but ultimately you gain far more than the people you help it???s a trick to get them on your side because it seems you care about them and in turn they move you to the top of the political ladder!

    • Posted By: willnotvoteobama @ 09/05/2008 9:31:25 AM

      Part 2???
The -- the connection to Saul Alinsky. In
Fact, Alinsky had change as his mantra. And by it, he meant radical socialist redistribution of income from the haves to the have-nots. That was the primary purpose.
Alinsky dedicated "Rules to Radicals" to Lucifer, whom he called the first radical. And he said it was a Machiavellian approach, which means you???ll lie, do whatever you need to do to get power, because the haves were going to lose to the have-nots, who were being championed by this community organizer. (Obama)
The theme is common that Senator Obama made in San Francisco about people are bitter, clinging to God and to guns. That is actually a paraphrase of something Saul Alinsky wrote in that same book, in "Rules for Radicals."
A very condescending view that he has of the middle class as people who are lost, who -- he says that they turn bitter, because they cling to certain fixed points that are elusory, but very real to them. They ask questions that Alinsky considers meaningless, like what does our flag mean to you? Interestingly, something that was just said at the Republican convention. That???s Alinsky. You know, obama???s his influence coming through.
Just take a look at his taxation policies. He wants to increase capital gains, because he says they???re unfair.
The point is that he clings to this relationship. And he???s even defending Ayers now. His campaign is defending Ayers, despite the fact that he???s an unrepentant terrorist who set bombs and may, according to congressional testimony, may have even been involved or had knowledge of a bombing that killed somebody. That???s the important thing.
Alinsky taught to say whatever is necessary to get power. That???s the Machiavellian approach. When Obama articulates policy positions, especially moving to the center, it may be completely calculated. We will not see the real Obama until its too late then we are going to be stuck in a radical system that will take a civil war to get out of !

Can't argue that - Palin has virtually no experience, but then again Obama has only slightly more - the difference is Palin would be in the number two spot and would be learning from the President. I'd rather have the inexperienced person being in the VP role. If you're going to attack Palin on her lack of experience, then you have to use the same arguments against Obama - neither one is truly qualified to be President.

Why do Republicans keep comparing Palin to Obama ? Obama won the nomination of his party and is LEADING IN THE POLLS and wherever he goes abroad, there is respect for this young man. Is there respect for your aging, dying presidential candidate who has started forgetting major things, and your wee town princess whose town hall is as a a gas station ? Check out Daily Kos. END OF DEBATE.

God help us if somehow John McCain is elected and Sarah Palin is VP. not that McCain is a bad person, but Sarah Pail would be a heartbeat away from the highest office.
I read a letter from a fellow Alaskan that knows her. Everyone should read it before they think of voting for the Mccain/palin ticket.

We can not afford to gamble or take a chance on someone with so little experience or qualifications.

    Rove and O'Reilly on Palin

  • Posted By: PLZBHonest @ 09/04/2008 10:16:32 PM

Sarah Palin has more direct experience with the US Navy and Coast Guard than Obama and Biden. And you know this how???
    Posted By: Davole @ 09/04/2008 8:47:55 PM

Sarah Palin has a son who is in the US military and will soon serve in Iraq, whereas Obama and Biden do not have any family member willing to risk his or her life to serve their country. Perhaps you should take time to check facts before you speak. But then again, this is just the usual kind of garbage people such as yourself like to spew. So here is a little fact that you choose to simply ignore. Beau Biden is a member of the Delaware Army National Guard, and serves as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's office. In August 2007, he received notice that his unit would be deployed to Iraq some time in 2008. He is officially scheduled to deploy on October 3, 2008, the day after his father participates in the campaign's only vice presidential debate. Just so you understand, THIS IS JOE BIDEN'S OLDEST SON!

Perhaps you would do yourself and everyone else a favor by fact checking before typing. You might want to do some fact checking on many of your other points too.

      PLZBHonest -

Thanks for responding to my post with additional possible refuting contention.

Although I have not attempted to verify your assertion, I do admit that it may be factual, and if it is, I do apologize. I am not familiar with the duties and responsibilities of a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Office - would his life actually be placed in danger in the course of his mission - would he be a potentially fighting soldier, or would he be in effect a removed from the scenes military lawyer?

Now, does Barack Obama, as the democrat candidate for the office of the Presidency, have any family member who is providing combative military service, to the degree that John McCain himself has done or Sarah Palin's son will soon be doing?

And, since you have apparently justifiably corrected me, is there any valid reason for your added comment - "this is just the usual kind of garbage people such as yourself like to spew." I truly doubt that you know me, and therefore your accusation may lack validity! Think about it!

Although I have admitted that I might have been wrong in my assertion, did it really merit your obviously biased and possibly wrongly opinionated diatribe?

I'll leave that up for you to decide,

Also, is there any other statement which I have made with which you do not factually agree? You seem to insinuate that there is or are some other(s)?

      Looking forward to your response!

Why are you against Pralin? She has more knowledge and experience than Obama. She is willing to stand up and fight for what she believes is right and will be a welcome experience for our Country along with John McCain. If Obama was in a church for 20 years and did not know where they stood he sure does not need to be President of our Country.

    • Posted By: PLZBHonest @ 09/04/2008 11:12:16 PM

More knowledge??? What does she know of constituional law?

    • Posted By: AnalystI @ 09/04/2008 10:16:23 AM

Are you still on that? Let's face it, she was chosen exclusively to get the democratic voters that were behind Hilary, but the fact still remains that those voters were shaky b/c of Obama's experience. What was McCain thinking? She does not have any experience, heck he barely knows the lady, yet these are the persons you wish to put in office. Give me a break.

      • Posted By: slknight @ 09/04/2008 2:16:47 PM

Enter Your Comment Let's not forget that Biden disagreed with Obama every chance he got before he was chosen as Obama's running mate and stated just shortly before that he did not want the job and would NOT be the vice presidential candidate.

I am going to post my comment and I do not intend to get in an argument with anyone. To begin with, I used to be a Republican until I learned that they cared nothing about middle class working people, health care for those people, whether they were losing their jobs and homes or about a disabled person who can no longer work but has to wait and wait to even get a hearing on Social Security, when there are minor children involved.

My eyes were opened that they are a ???rich man???s party??? interested only in the wealthy.

So they think they have a ???star??? in their VP choice? You will notice that not one of them have mentioned helping those middle class workers who have paid taxes for years only to be constantly looked over in order to give more and more tax breaks to those who make
huge profits and incomes. When the middle class taxpayers are all gone, because all the good jobs are going overseas, who is going to support this country? More loans from China and the Arab countries?

The Republicans talk about deficits???? They came into office in the black and the deficit is so high now, it is mind boggling! I will never vote for another Republican!!

    • Posted By: aelinc @ 09/04/2008 10:51:48 AM

ummm...so being for small businesses is not middle class? even though the tax breaks are for all americans, they are not for the middle class? if you would've watched what was said last night you would know that palin talked about creating more jobs in america using americans to fill the positions.

      • Posted By: PLZBHonest @ 09/04/2008 10:47:53 PM

Just how have the Bush tax cuts that John McCain, who opposed them orginally and now wholly embraces them, helped this economy? Where are all the jobs that were supposed to be created? Where are all the great and wonderful things the tax cuts were supposed to bring about. By the way, I can state without any hesitation that I am one of the millions of Americans who saw NONE of those so called tax cuts.

      • Posted By: torres6510 @ 09/04/2008 11:13:31 AM

That's the same crap W said. We're still waiting. 8 years and thousand of lost jobs later!!

If Sara Palin is the best that this country has to offer Lord help us all should the Republicans prevail. Since when is motherhood, a special needs child and a pregnant daughter/child a qualifier for the position John McCain wants her to fill? I shudder to think of all the abuses we would have to suffer should she get in office.

    • Posted By: denmill @ 09/04/2008 1:45:51 PM

At least she put her countru first and has done some positive things for her country. We cannot say the same for Barack Hussein Ossama and his wife, the America hater!!!!

Sarah Palin - More Reasons Why Democrats Are Cowering

Sarah Palin ardently supports an all-inclusive energy plan, whereas Obama and Biden refuse to support any inclusion of fossil fuels and nuclear technology.

Sarah Palin has more foreign trade experience than both Obama and Biden. since she has protected the US fishery and oil industries from Canadian and Russian competition.

Sarah Palin has actually opposed Big Oil companies, and returned excess windfall profits to the Alaskan taxpayers, whereas Obama and Biden merely propose that they will do likewise.

Sarah Palin has more direct experience with the US Navy and Coast Guard than Obama and Biden.

Sarah Palin has a son who is in the US military and will soon serve in Iraq, whereas Obama and Biden do not have any family member willing to risk his or her life to serve their country.

Sarah Palin has actually demonstrated her ability to effect meaningful political change, whereas Obama and Biden have merely promised to do so in a non-specific manner.

Sarah Palin demonstrates a determination and ability to reform the way politics is conducted in Washington, whereas Obama and Biden merely suggest that they will bring about some vague undefined form of change.

Sarah Palin believes and has demonstrated that a woman can earn what she is worth, whereas Obama and Biden subscribe to the equal pay and affirmative action legislative approach to salary determination for women.

Sarah Palin supports a moral stand which respects the dignity of all human life, even its most vulnerable, whereas Obama stance on abortion is one of shallow political opportunism.

"Pakistani authorities on Wednesday accused U.S. troops of attacking across the border in South Waziristan..."

Uh, huh. and what makes you think they weren't told in advance and are simply PRETENDING shock? Can't pull the trick too often w/o getting caught, but being as it's political suicide for them to sanction US strikes in their country, but they also want to put down the Taliban uprising, if the target list presented them was big enough and important enough they'd probably ignore one cross-border raid, maybe two, and make a pro-forma complaint.

As for Sarah Palin, assuming some deranged KOS poster shoots President McCain, she steps into the job with a full Cabinet, a Joint Chiefs of Staff, and about 2 Million federal bureacrats to assist and bring her up to speed. After the speech last night it's beyond insulting to snifft that this "breeder" isn't smart enough/good enough to handle the job.

Whoever comes to power - McCain or Obama - better understand the REAL issue is the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. All other issues - be it Russia, Israel, Iran etc - at least has someone in power to talk to. But the cancer of terrorism is growing out of control in the Afghan/Pak region and is already consuming those societies. If this cancer reaches other shores (like India, Israel, China and indeed US), it can explode into anarchy for the next US President. Who is the president going to talk to then? They wont even know whom/where to bomb? The US - as powerful as she is - will be bled to death with 1000 cuts.

Well, being a woman to me the simple fact that any woman over Forty years of age deciding to have a FIFTH child, knowing that the chances of having a Down Syndrome baby are greatly increased, Palin does not indicate enough good judgment and certainly not to lead a country like the US, if anything would happen to John McCain! I'm surprised that not many people have picked up on this very basic issue!

    • Posted By: slknight @ 09/04/2008 7:24:46 PM

I find it quite offensive that so many poeple who tout choice, choice, choice seem to feel obligated to criticize Palin's choice to have her child. Either support your cause for everyone or for no one. What I'm seeing is it isn't about the actual ability to choose but more about making the choice you think she should, how hipocritical.

For all of those people who only listen to what they're told by Fox rather than actually trying to be an informed citizen by seeking answers on their own, above is a little link to Obama's policies. If you want to look up his voting record you can do that at a number of websites. I assume that since you were able to navigate your way to Newsweek, you should be able to handle finding out the information you seek about Obama. Don't wait for someone else to tell you what to think. I know life is much easier that way but it's not as much fun.

    • Posted By: slknight @ 09/04/2008 7:13:15 PM

I've never been one to enjoy polotics and have usually listened to what the candidates say without digging much deeper before voting, but this year has been different. I've spent several hours pouring over both Obama's and McCain's web sites along with listening to the adds and reading the kind of comments that are posted on sites such as this and I have to say all of this has only made me feel even more confident in my choice of McCain/Palin so thank you for helping me make my decision.
