Obama is a closet freak. This man is linked to a underground murder of a gay man in the Chicago area and is known in the undergrounds for his sexual preference. How in the world can this man fool so many americans like he has done. The fact that he sat in a church for 20yrs and did not find the sermons of Rev Wright (who is rumored to have had male relations alone with Obama in the Brothers on the down low ring in Chicago) to be offensive is odd to me but when will all this stop. If a man had accused me of doing wrong such as Larry Sinclair did for Obama then he would have to answer to me personally, but Obama does nothing. Come on people wake up fast before its too late. Don put this man in office for people of all walks of life to later come forth and make America look even ten times worse then we do now....

McCain has had several affairs and divorced his first wife after she was in a car accident, stating that see was too ugly to look at. Within a month he was married to the richest women in Arizona who has been said has had many affairs. McCain was 5th from last in the Naval Academy. Has been in the senate for 23 years and still knows nothing about the economy, and now he has recklessly chosen Sarah Palin as his VP.
Palin lied about the Bridge to Nowhere. She already lied about at least twice since being picked as the VP nominee. She claims she said, ???No thanks??? for the Bridge to Nowhere. That is a lie. The federal government blocked the project and later Palin pulled state funding. Prior to that, she supported the bridge. The ???No Thanks??? claim is perhaps the biggest claim she has made in trying to establish her credibility as a reformer. But it is a lie. She should be given an opportunity to explain what she did to block the project. Was it a letter? A phone call to whom?
Also, if she was so opposed to earmarks, why didn???t she return the bridge project money to the federal government? Now her Alaskan government is using the bridge funding for other highway projects.
      Palin is a liar.

What kind of person wants to be President of America in the crazy world in which we live?

Let's stop making a mockery out of American politics. If Palin, like Obama, McCain and Biden, can convince the American people that she is ready to be VP, all well and good. But at this point, the attention she is getting is because people are still in shock, that McCain would even consider her for the VP spot. She's got a lot to prove to Americans and perhaps, even to herself. I found it insulting to America when I saw that sign at the RNC that read "McCain & Superwoman". Are the Republicans really that desperate to think that they can win this election with such nonsense?

Obama really has made his case to the American people over the past 24 months. His books have been a refreshing kind of revelation to the public, without our having to "investigate" the information out of him. His case has been clear and compelling, this is why he is the Democratic nominee. His experience is unique and no less impressive than any of the other candidates. As I veteran, I know that military experience cannot be the sole basis for leadership. McCain is wrong on this issue. As for governor experience neither McCain, Biden or Obama have been governors. But, was not George Bush, Jr. a Governor? How about Jimmy Carter? Now, I think Carter was a much better president than was popularly believed and he has certainly proven himself a committed Christian, at least by the bible definition of what a Christian should be. But my point is, that both were governors before the oval office. Was it the experience of governor or was it something else that convinced American's to elect them? And, perhaps both of them (Carter and Bush) could have been more effective had they been more experienced in public policy making, of which experience you gain in both the State and Federal legislative branches of the government.

Oh, and remember, that great President by the name of Lincoln? Pretty good for one who did not have a whole lot of "executive" political experience in office himself!

These are challenging times. Let's keep our minds on the issues and not the "attractive appearances", men or women!

Gov. Sarah Palin's church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

"You'll be encouraged by the power of God's love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality," according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed for about six years.

Palin's conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain's candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

Focus on the Family, a national Christian fundamentalist organization, is conducting the "Love Won Out" Conference in Anchorage, about 30 miles from Wasilla.

Palin, campaigning with McCain in the Midwest on Friday, has not publicly expressed a view on the so-called "pray away the gay" movement. Larry Kroon, senior pastor at Palin's church, was not available to discuss the matter Friday, said a church worker who declined to give her name.

IN ADDITION TO THE TWO SCANDALS SARAH PALIN IS CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN - THE OTHER SHOE MAY DROP ON PALIN THIS WEEK!!!!

"The National Enquirer's coverage of a vicious war within Sarah Palin's extended family includes several newsworthy revelations, including the resulting incredible charge of an affair plus details of family strife when the Governor's daughter revealed her pregnancy. Following our John Edwards' exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign's vetting process. Despite the McCain camp's attempts to control press coverage they find unfavorable, The Enquirer will continue to pursue news on both sides of the political spectrum."

To Holyroller: I hope your news is a fact and not just a rumor. Nothing would make me happier than for Barack Obama to be found ineligible to run for the office of president of USA. The DNC and the superdelegates made a very big mistake lining up behind an empty suit, inexperienced, and phony candidate like Barack Obama. I think Obama is going to lose the general election anyway, but it is too bad he blocked Hillary Clinton from being the democratic nominee.

  • Posted By: adelina @ 09/05/2008 11:52:54 AM

I love the way Palin went after Obama. Hillary lost the nomination because she could'nt expose Obama's deficiencies without being called a racist by the media & the Obama camp. McCain made the right decision in selecting Palin, she is dynamic, good speaker, charismatic. and yes, SHE IS A WOMAN!!!

    • Posted By: hillj225 @ 09/05/2008 4:40:21 PM

Exactly, so let us pit the bad black man against sweet Polly Purebread and rally the troops around her. I thought the race was Obama vs McCain!

      • Posted By: Morgan2008 @ 09/06/2008 5:59:20 PM

I agree 100% with Adelina. Obama needs someone like Palin to expose his deficiencies. Obama comes across as a fraud and complete phony who will say anything to get votes. It is difficult to know where he stands on the issues. I can't trust a senator like Obama who voted present more than 130 times. What was his problem? Is Obama incapable of making decisions or could it be he doesn't want to face his constituents if they know how he votes. Sarah Palin is a real person who got into politics for the right reason...to make things better for her city and her state. As Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin has more experience for the job of president than Obama. I voted for Hillary Clinton but I will not vote for Barack Obama. The character of the person means more to me than the party. I do not trust Obama and I will vote for McCain/Palin.

Have you ever even CONSIDERED you may be an idiot?

Jeff Foxworthy had those great lines about why you might be a redneck but it applies to all the idiots out there too.

If in our INFORMATIONAL economy you are still seeking a manufacturing job, you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

If in the beginning of a recession which could be SERVERE you believe the ANSWER is raising taxes, you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

If you think Obama or ANY politician can CREAT jobs (businesses do that and they will do LESS of it with Obama's huge taxes) you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

If you think Obama will create alternative energy sources, you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

If you think Obama's TAX increases ONLY ON THE RICH won't affect you, you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT! (After all if you buy products and services from businesses and they have to pay higher taxes they will RAISE the prices so YOU ultimately pay those taxes).

If you think Obama is smart, you MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

If you think Obama will give you CHANGE you would be RIGHT, but you also MIGHT BE AN IDIOT!

Because nobody in their RIGHT MIND would want the kind of changes Obama is recommending!
High taxes, BIG government, jobs flowing overseas because of all the higher taxes and healt incurance costs skyrocketing under his plans, interest rates and INFLATION skyrocketing WORSE than Carter!

So basically if you think Obama is the ANSWER to all your life's issues, you ARE AN IDIOT!

She left the small town she was Major of in dept from a balanced budget. She never sold the state jet on Ebay. She took credit for an ethics reform bill that was started before she was in office. She preaches abstinence and has a pregnant teenage daughter. She was 43 and having sex without thinking of the well known consequences of the complication of pregnancy at that age. Sarah Palin is, in reality, what Obama's handlers are trying to create with smoke and mirrors. a real person with a real life who got into politics as a part time job to achieve something.Obama's only life is politics. He has never run anything and frankly, helping ACORN register dead people on voting rolls isn't even much of a background to be a state senator, much less the President

    • Posted By: LMAO @ 09/05/2008 7:24:48 PM

Yes - you got. Palin is like a mirror to the American people to help expose what a fraud Obama really is. I am black and extremely disgusted when my supposedly smart black friends can get beyond blackness and see the Truth. So God made it easier by inspiring McCain to select Sarah. So let me see how many people will flunk this test. I dare to tell them that Hillary was cheated and before I am black I am fair. I was not one of the millions who tuned in to watch that fraud get the nomination.

Why did Huckabee lose? Did people learn about Baptists? Romney lost because of inconsistent and changing positions and not because people "learned about Mormons". Most people still know little about Mormons and what they do know is often deliberate misinformation from evangelicals.

Obama, as a candidate for President should hardly need to pay attention to Palin nipping at his ankles. Biden and others in the Democrat Party can take care of that. I can't wait to hear her first couple press conferences! We'll see how snarky and on point she can be when she doesn't have the speech (written by others for someone else, actually) on teleprompters. First question: "Gov. Palin, what is your stance on the invasion of Georgia? " Gov. Palin: "Oh my, has the southeast been invaded? Nobody told me!"

I don't think they get it....you simply cannot compare what Sarah Palin said to less than a 20k crown to what Obama said to over 40 million...The Republican party will lose in November no matter what they say or what they do..and here is how. In no time in AMERICAN history have we had the kind of voter turn out we have have in the primarys...EVER..Imagine what voter turn out will be in the actual election.? .If Obama receives HALF the vote of the same primary voters.. he wins in a landslide. That idiot Rick Davis has already said Mc Idiot is concentrating on the working-class "white" and disenchanted Hillary voters. Disenchanted does not mean dumb. Quite honestly there are simply not enough republicans or "others" that can swing this election towards MC Idiot. All this is is a dog and pony show and sarah is the main attraction

But you have to recall that the VERY FIRST statement from Obama after her announcement mocked her as the former "small-town mayor of 9,000" conveniently ignoring she is the sitting governor of Alaska. So, tit for tat. If you're going to mock her, why can't she hit back?

While the Republicans push Palin's celebrity, they're still criticizing Obama's popularity. They're hypocrits, of course, but very successful poitically in presidential elections. If they can persuade Hillary supporters to vote for a true right winger like Palin who opposes abortion even for rape and incest victims, they really are political geniuses.

  • Posted By: belle12 @ 09/06/2008 1:08:17 AM

I may not have agreed with Hillary Clinton but at least she had substance. At least she was able to engage on the issues and knew policy like the back of her hand. I wish the Republicans had put forth a woman whose greatest gift wasn't her ability to be a snide, nasty, and condescending. If you think a rock star is a woman who never acknowledges her opponent by name then we have very different definitions. If Obama refused to call Gov. Palin by name he would be called arrogant and sexist. However, there are already seems to be a double standard when it's Palin. It's funny that Obama has been called an empty suit with great rhetoric and Palin is being hailed because she can read a teleprompter and deliver insults that are written by someone else. Someone on McCain's team should inform her that when she goes out on the stump and repeats her comments verbatim, they lose their punch and they reinforce the notion that she has a script. What became clear to me after watching the Palin speech is that Obama is truly the class of the field. He advised his supporters to leave her family alone and he is repaid by having his wife criticized by the Republicans all week long. Did he rise to the bait and point out infidelity, drug use, or theft? No. He is a new type of politician who knows that you leave the gutter politics to those who are suited to it and the GOP found the perfect guttersnipe in Palin.

  • Posted By: JSnapper @ 09/04/2008 8:24:25 AM

      • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 09/04/2008 9:53:44 AM

Barack Obama is devoid of substance . Sarah Palin's one-liners addressed that issue -- and it is the most important issue of this campaign.

        • Posted By: tlmj2003 @ 09/04/2008 2:27:42 PM

Sorry but she didn't address any issues all she did was "Attack" Obama/Biden as any Repubican would forget about all the debt, war and high gas prices and other issues of the U.S. and attack ones character. But you see Palin will never match up to the "Dems" no matter how much bullmalarky she reads....Obama/Biden 08'

          • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 09/04/2008 4:02:17 PM

      • Posted By: alan.lockett @ 09/04/2008 10:02:01 AM

The same might be said of Obama's vapid speech the other night, minus the one liners. If it's a contest of substance, Palin wins. Obama just strings together paragraphs full of contradictions that give soft-headed people warm, fuzzy feelings. But seriously, he's not going to pay for more socialistic health care without taxing the vast majority of us to the poor house.

Why does the first black candidate for president have to be a socialist? I'd vote for someone like Alan Keyes any time. But Obama is a socialist and most likely a Marxist. Palin represents the traditional frontier American. The choice between the two is very simple. George Bush is a simple-minded fool, and Cheney is pure evil. Neither McCain nor Palin are anything like Cheney. So where's the problem here? The question is, do you want Marxism, or American individualism. That's it.

                Dare ya.

Your right Obama is not a muslim. Maybe he was at one time. But he's not now. BUT he was born on Aug 4, 1961, and his mother who was 18 was married on April 15 1961... so Omaba was either 4 months pre-mature or his mother concieved him before she was married . She also proclaimed herself an Atheist which I'm sure was Obama teachings until he saw the light from Rev Wright ! Now that was a good way to find religion... from someone that hated America and all whites !

Her message? You mean the one that some republican speech writer handed her and she practiced five times?

If McCain wanted an actor, she should have picked Meryl Streep - she's good and she doesn't have a daughter who was knocked up at 16 by her redneck boyfriend.

Hey Ahab - you suck! Please die already. Preferably in a painful slow way!

Sarah Palin strikes me as the female version of Greg Stillson.
    Be afraid. Be very afraid.
