    I cried when I saw that poor special needs baby being passed from one person to another. The only bright moment was when the younger daughter licked her hand and gently smoothed his hair. What kind of mother, even a political one, allows that to happen? While I was never much of a Hillary supporter, you have to hand it to her that she never allowed Chelsea to be used as political fodder.

    Sarah Palin is the epitome of traditional womanhood. She is very intelligent, well balanced and is capablle of doing an excellent job. She has an extremely supportive familly. There is much truth in the adage"it takes a village to raise a child." We in the United States are so busy supporting whatever the ACLU's agenda is. What is next? Are we also to approve of sex with animals as has been the case in, I believe Switzerland or the Netherlands ? We need government which represents the majority. This country was founded on Christian principles yet the government has decided to allow abortion at any point, before and after birth. If you don't want the baby, put it in a different and let it die, or tear a baby apart in the womb and cause tremendous suffering of the baby and mother. Obama supports letting the ifant starve in anothe room.Where doe it all end? Isn't this legalized murder? I am a Christian and I am a public servant. Allowing an anything goes policy in the United States has created a monster in the mental health fiield. We need to support lisomeone who supports life and family values.

    I don't mind leaving Sarah Palin's family alone but she certainly doesn't plan to leave our families alone. She plans to over turn Roe v Wade. She proudly talks about her faith, well I am sure that she was not forced to have her faith but she wants to force it on others. Why would any American stand for that.

      I've never really understood why abortion is considered an issue of faith; the central issue of abortion has always been the question that can be answered scientifically - at what point does life begin? Personally, I believe it begins at conception and abortion is legalized murder. That said - the USA has had legalized murder on the books for a long time in the death penalty - for that matter Bible supports the death penalty. But, the people we allow to be legally "murdered" have committed a heinous crime against humanity and that isn't so with a fetus.

      You can't force faith, it is a person's personal relationship with God. You can't force moral values, otherwise there would be no crime. You can voice your moral convictions and be prepared to stand by them, and I believe that is what Mrs. Palin has done. If you don't agree with them you have the luxury of voting against her, and that, my friend, was bought for you by our founding fathers and the men and women of years past and present that fought and some died for what we as a country believe to be morally right: freedom.

      And anyway - even Obama has not been shy about his faith. It's a good thing to know, to paraphrase the Bible, you'll know the kind of tree you're dealing with by the fruit and it's a good idea to cull out the wormy trees lest the healthy ones get infested....
