Her history and her record says nothing to me that she is the person for THAT job. If anything she reminds me of what women were like in the 1950's when they didn't have a mind of their own. Also, I can't stand any person who says God had a part in anything we do. I believe in God but I don't believe he goes around talking to people telling them what to do or not to do! Get over yourselves on that one will you?!!!

How can we honestly think that a man with nine homes that does not know the price of milk can relate to the average working American struggling to keep one home or feed their children. Privatizing everything as is the republican motto--would cancel out the the lower middle class; as a lower middle class single mom paying quite a hefty tax now, I would rather my taxes be allocated to my own Social Security and a health insurance program than to the 2% of the rich getting greedier with every tax return. Oh, and intenational politics--well why dont we ask the so called "haters" what their day entails whilst we are on their soil and bullets are flying past their children's head's. Since the Republicans are so bible worthy--then maybe they skipped a few biblical texts where Jesus's message is to help the underprivaleged in light of our own riches.
People please wake up--a President should work for the people--not just a few.
And Sarah Palin--who is she anyway? Do we really trust or think she is prepared to be the decision maker should something happen to McCain!!!??? Now that's scary!!

John McCain can trot out his dotty 96-year-old mother as often as he likes. It doesn't change the fact that his father dropped dead at 70 and his grandfather died at 63 -- both from sudden heart attacks. McCain is 72. You know, I've often wondered if the destruction of public schools is a goal of the GOP. They instill these policies that allow no time for subjects like history, government or civics, let alone anything that requires critical thinking skills and the result is a population that has no idea what this country is supposed to be about. People don't know their rights (except, maybe Miranda rights, thanks to cop shows). When they're read portions of the Constitutuion, the idenfify it as a "communist" document. It the GOP master plan to keep the majority of the people ignorant and distract them with inane "cultural" issues?

Many of its projects have been funded by that well-known, left wing radical group -- the Roman Catholic Church, through its Campaign for Human Development, a foundation to combat the root causes of poverty.. For ICYEYES800 and all of the mocking Republicans who find humor in the role of a "Community Organizer," let me bring you up to speed on exactly what the title means. A Community Organizer is a person who works with the poor and disaffected to help offer food, shelter, and job training. Of course there are quite a few other directions you can go with it, but they help make a difference whenever they can. To mock the dedication of those people would be like mocking the person who works in a soup kitchen to serve food to the hungry. How can the Republicans swear they're out to help the country when they find humor in the suffering of others? I won't say anything else, however. The Republicans just need two more months of rope before they finally get to hang themselves. President Obama has a BEAUTIFUL sound to it!!!!

I thought EXACTLY the same thing. That G.O.P. crowd was only a couple of pitchforks and torches away from being an angry chanting mob. Whereas the Dem convention seemed to unify and be completely non-exclusive in its message.
