Governor Palin did not provide any information as to what she would bring to the table as VP. Glowing remarks for McCain, the family intro and a few quick jabs at Obama really doesn't say anything about her background and what's she's bringing to the table. Hopefully, she won't use the female thing if jabs start flying her way. She wants to stand with the boys, she'll have to take it like the boys.

As much as I have wanted to see a woman in the white house, I don't want one, just because she is a woman. I want a qualified one....is that to much to ask?

That is no woman. That is Palin Athena. The grey eyed Greek goddess.......... Who is the Zeus from whose head she sprang? Teddy Roosevelt? Do you know?

Okay, you need to move on to something more original now. (Someone has been spending too much time reading his Greek mythology comic books.)

Palin's speech, because it lacked substance, is an embarrassment. Maybe Bristol Palin is off the table, but Sarah Palin's support for abstinence-only sex education is not. Palin trying to cast herself as having more practical experience as Barack Obama is laughable. Eight years in the senate! Hey, wait a minute:Is Obama running against Palin? I'm a community organizer, yes, it's a paying job. Barack Obama was a community organizer when he was 23 years old and before he went to Harvard Law School. I'm a PhD community organizer.

Palin was just what the Republican Party needed to get those Hillerycrat votes. Biden commented on her speech saying she mentioned nothing about certain issues I think he needs to view her speech before he comments further. Some one might think he is out of touch.
Mc Cain sure showed he is trully a Mavrick, Palin is a fresh" real change "and the US needed that!

Yes, Hillary's supporters definitely share Palin's views on abortion, sex ed, civil liberties, gay rights, and the environment. NOT!!!!

She did not address or even mention any of the important issues such as health care, jobs, the mortgage crisis, education, going green, Roe vs Wade, HIV and Aids, Science and Medical research. In addition, she called herself a REFORMER yet she fail to inform us how she is a reformer.--- how she defines reform, how she has been so accomplished at reformed in her state,(LOL) and how does she plan to go about reforming Washington.. This was just a prepared speech that any one who has taken a college speech class could have delivered. Probably better becuase they would have realized when the imbeded sarcasm went from being effective to insulting and demeaning to her audience.. In her attempt to attack Obama, she forgot the her target audience was a group of women, who are insightful and can usually read a phony. She became catty and for a woman that usually translates into messy and insecure. Her admission that she is a bitbull does not show that she will be a reformer that will reach across the aisle to help bring about real change. A bitbull as we know bites down and doesn't let go. If this is the how she views herself, she is not a reformer and will not bring the positive change that we as women need and deserve in the White House.

Like Texan_007 says just what the Republican Party needs, and there is no doubt she is a true Republican.

When she became mayor of Wasilla then a town of 5,000. The town had zero debt, when she left it had $22 million in debt.

She gave the corporate property owners tax cuts at the expense of the residents, but she got lots of Wal Marts.

The town needed a sewage plant, So Palin built a sports complex that is a drain on the towns economy and is still in legal limbo since the city did not have clear title to the land, and built streets to 20th century standands...still no sewage plant.

Fired everyone who worked for the city and replaced them with her cronies, even tried to fire the city librarian for refusing to remove books Palin found objectionable.

Yep she's a Republican, and like she says she's a pit bull with lip stick, Loyal to those close to her and a danger to everyone else.

Did you folks see Biden on the morning shows today? He looked like he had seen a ghost....Hey Joe. That was no ghost. That was Palin Athena in full armor. Can't wait for the debates.

After so many sneers and jokes, I thought for a second... "Am I watching Saturday Night Live". Not at all convinced that she is qualified to be VP.

Got his cheerleader & some of her comments last night were mean spirited. I thought Hillary was the only one who could be called a B----!

Cont'd - Healthcare - so I worked back in the days companies provided it. 1979 - Alaska, first state to end their government employees from the Social Security, and of course we all know what kind of medical and retirement plan our government folks have today! If only we had that kind of healthcare for LIFE & retirement. Other countries can do it, why not the USA? Taxes may be a bit higher, but look at the return! I think McCain got a chee
