    In your comment about McCain flying a fighter when it was a A-4 Skyhawk you called it a small bomber and this is not correct. In fact it is an attack aircraft which is why it has an "A" designator. The only aircraft that can be called a bomber are those with a "B" designator such as the B-52, B-1 and B-2. The A-4 is every bit a fighter as is the A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog) that is use down range right now.

      Yes, but if you read the article: "The aircraft is formally called a 'Light Attack Bomber' by Boeing"; which on the Boeing website entry it reads: "A4D/A-4 Skyhawk Light Attack Bomber".

    this goes to show that time and time again...all the repububots want to do is get rid of the middle class and focus on fear mongoring...they call us democrats angry liberals because we want a better america...for the past 8 years America has suffered and they want us to stay in this slump.     I think hte liberal media misses the point on Obama that Mrs. Palin was issuing. If there is an example of a significant bill that Obama has AUTHORED (not merely supported), then why is it that they have not produced it yet? Putting down people without facts is right near to fraud. I think that is the view a lot of us simple minded folks have of the enlightened media who no longer seem to care about the facts and are only driven by idiology.

    Maverick, agent of change, reformer, John McCain? Perhaps at times, but remember the Keating Five and how he had to wiggle like hell to get clear of the Savings & Loan rip off. His staff is half lobby guys and the other half from the Carl Rove team. The guy perhaps was once an independent, but today he is in more pockets than lint.

      Did you watch the same RNC that I did, because the bias and un-civility was not coming from the Dems or the left. I thought the whole convention was distasteful and disgusting. I had to turn the chanel when Palin was on. Pit Bull is not the right phrase for her.

    One last thought, do you think it a coinsidence that from our attack on Iraq and until recently that the Arab countries, Desocrates, China and Russia have been pushing oil prices up and thus causing economy problems for America!!! If we lose this war it is a slam dunk for the desocrates, the Arab countries, China,and Russia. I refuse to give in to special interest groups that only want us to fail!!! We are the most generouse country in the world and support the fact with my militaries' lives. Honor America and try to look at 9/11 as it was. We have made mistakes in our battles but in know way did we deserve 9/11 or any of the other America haiting attacks.

    I'm from Illinois and Obama was a member of our assembly. Ever since the economy of our state and our state government has done nothing but straight down. So, we sent him to Washington and we know what happened to the Congress after he got there - worst approval rating in it's history.

    You sound like Nixon during Vietnam. Nixon was a huge hero of McCain's after the war. We're pulling troops out and putting them into Afghanistan just like Obama said we should do... and just like McCain said we shouldn't.

    We didn't win in Iraq. We got our ass handed to us, thanks to the GOP. Now we're running away because we no longer have enough military to fight in Iraq. And they know they can't get the enlistees because less than 2% of the people of age to serve who voted for Bush in 2004 have chosen to serve. That's the GOP's doing. People know it's an immoral war, and the GOP simply doesn't have enough of a coalition of the willing to win it.

    McBush and Dick Nixon... fools to the end.

      Tricky Dick got elected by the no more war freaks who desocrated America by saying to them he would bring the troops home and end the war, which he did. In the North Korean history books because of Nixon they decided to sign a peace agreement and agreed to end the war. Then You freaks refused to let the USA protect the agreement and Nixon brought the troops home. From the vets other than Kerry we won every battle where we were on the offense in Nam and eventually drove back the commi's on their offenses. Nixon failed by being too much like a desocrator or desotraitor.

A bunch of hasbeens and wannabes whining about Obama, the liberal media and how mean everyone was. Nothing of substance was even mentioned. Remember when issues were important and high school attacks were considered poor form and low class?

    The Republican Audience is the not what we call the sharpest tool in the tool shed, and facts are kind of like science. It really doesn't play a role in there thinking, if we should go as far as to call it that.
    For example: Kings5 corrects your Bomber classification, but disregards the other overwhelming facts you did point out to be lies.
    Kings5, try and read the article a little slower and you might absorb a little more.
