Why when an article like this is written does it have to do with the color of one's skin? I am a person of color and I am not offended by this article. The reason is because I am educated and able to pick through the garbage and form and informed opinion regarding this article.

Unfortunately in the "game" of politics many news organizations believe that sensationalism is the the way to sell their product, so they bait we the people,
As educated, literate people we can surely see past the rhetoric and form independent opinions for ourselves.

Newsweek is a respectable reporting agency and I know this article is a story that should be mentioned.

But, why would you consider the discretions of Mayor Kilpatrick's, a reflection on Barrack Obama? Let's see! There was outrage that the media even pointed out the Gov Palin's 17 year old daughter was pregnant and she is the person that raised her. Yet, the Mayor is a grown man, adult age, and yet, the next president of the United States is suddenly guilty by association because they had a "man hug." There is an underline racial tone to this message. By the way, UofM, is one of the first universitiy's to bring attention to the lack of minority enrollment. I'm sure there were a few white americans from UofM who's intention was to have the issue addressed. And, I am a HUGE Ohio State fan. So, it's hard to say kind words about UofM. However, that was a classy thing to do to increase minority enrollment.

As far Jeremiah Wright and the former activist who did what he was doing when Barrack Obama was 8 years old. Wow, he must infected. That is a riduculus thing to say. You know what I think is funny. White americans pay top dollar to see Oliver North speeches all over the country and he receives $1M per speech. But no one talks about or associates him with one of the largest drug scandals in US history. Nor, does anypne ties president Reagan to him. Interesting.

Keith, you are an idiot. You treat Black people as if they are one monolithic mind, body and soul. Apparently you embrace the notion of the invisible "black community" however there is no "white community." Lumping all black people together is both ignorant and intellectually lazy. I guess it's more convenient to insinuate your own biases and apply merit where none exists.
