Here is an update on ANOTHER BarackStar buddy....wonder if Hussein looks cute in an orange jumpsuit.
UH OH....looks like HolyRoller was right again.....wonder what the BarackStar is thinking right now??
Is Rezko working with the feds?
SOURCES: | He's been back at courthouse numerous times
August 28, 2008 Chicago Sun Times
"As his sentencing nears, pressure is mounting on Tony Rezko to cooperate with federal investigations into some of the highest-profile politicians in the state -- including Gov. Blagojevich.
Two more trials -- one in Chicago next spring, one in Las Vegas -- hover over the Wilmette businessman and onetime prolific political fund-raiser for the governor and BARACK OBAMA.
Tony Rezko was inside the federal courthouse as recently as Aug. 14, sources for the Sun Times say.
Now, sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times that Rezko has been seen at the federal courthouse as many as a dozen times since his June conviction. He's been held since then at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago.
Rezko hasn't had to be back in court since a jury convicted him of corruption charges involving state deals. And his scheduled Sept. 3 sentencing was recently pushed back to Oct. 28".....ONE WEEK BEFORE ELECTION....hmmm...just a coincidence???
WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM FOT TONY = FEDERAL CHARGES FOR HUSSEIN
I told ya'll this months ago.....Hussein Obama IS A CROOK AND A FRAUD.
NOBAMA!!!
Fear and loathing in St. Paul:
For me this Republican convention did nothing but demonstrate that the GOP "ain't what it used to be". Gone are the days of actually addressing the deepest concerns of the people: the incredible downturn in our economy, our enormous national debt, two wars - one of which was unnecessary, our almost complete energy dependence, out of control health care costs, the foreclosure crisis, Social Security and Medicare, etc. Vote for the POW and the nobody and they'll make America great again! (Just don't ask too many questions.) Hey, let???s try trickle down economics (one more time) so the rich can get richer - and buy more propaganda to tell the poor that they've never had it so good. McCain / Palin are the same nightmare that this country has been trying to wake up from for years. Our nation is at a crossroads: we can follow the Republicans and remain locked to our past greatness and slowly get washed away or choose a future greatness based upon optimism, new ideas and the inclusion of all Americans. I don't fault Obama for having said that some people cling to God and their guns, only that he didn't say it directly to those people, but I guess he wasn't expecting to get an invite to the Republican convention. Democrats love their country as much as the "Country First" Republicans, but have enough sense to know that the world has changed and that what was tried and true 50 or 60 years ago just isn't going to cut it anymore. I certainly believe that John McCain (like our current president) is actually sincere in what he says and in his love for this country, but the same lack of foresight, the same shooting from the hip mentality that gave us the war in Iraq, the Mission Accomplished banner and the "bring 'em on" statement are not what we need going forward. We need to show the world our greatness by helping people achieve their liberty themselves, by working in concert with allies, old and new, to make the world a better place for everyone, by leading the world in the development of renewable resources - not following everyone else, kicking and screaming. We can do anything we set our minds to, but not if our leadership demands nothing from us but blind obedience.
And B. Hussein's solutions are exactly what? I don't recall any specifics from him other than "...drilling is not the answer...", "....let the working people of America pay for the health insurance for the non-working so they can continue non-working....(not that we aren't already through the insurance companies)" and other frivolous drivvle!
I started out undecided, but now that the conventions are over, I favor McCain. By the way, your one-sided, derisive writing won't help to restore the credibility of your profession. There are wackos writing on the right too, but you're not helping your cause.
What was it that moved you in regards to the RNC? i'd truly like to know.
Marx: "Religion is the opium of the masses." Obama: "Bitter Americans cling to religion." How original.
Richard the Lionheart: "We crusaders are doing the will of God". Sarah Palin: "Our troops are doing God's work.". Hmmmmm.
Who's God?
Hmmm, now thats some kick ass metaphysical bannter right there. Kudos to you. Thats better than what is the defenition of "is";)
Rhetorically, very weak.
Oh i agree, both comparisons were extremely shallow and pathetic; partially because of the lack of context and substance, but mostly because everything has been said in one shape or form long before Obama or Palin were even born.
Except Palin did not grow up reading English History, but Obama (see his autobiography) grew up reading Fanon, Marcuse, Marx, Carmichael, Garvey, Sartre and other slime.
Shame on him for having a brain and actually using it, shame, shame, shame for looking at things from a different prespective, and then determining to formulate his own ideas about how the the world should look, and not relying on what a bunch of no brain biggots who don't want things to change because they would actually have to somethig besides HIDING behind things ........as they are so accustom to doing, and do somthing about the crap that they sit around all day complaining about!!!
What did Palin grow up reading? Do you know anything about your candidate or do you just dabble in obscure irrelevant subtext of Obama's life?
Barry.......Did you see that old Hobbitt last night? I hate him. I hate him. Did you hear him talk about his scars? Hugh. What is that supposed to mean? I got scars. I am sure you have scars too what with all the basketball you have played. Well.......just started my first week of classes here at Middlebury. I will talk to you soon. Bye.
I just enjoyed the irony of Rudy up on that stage; pro-gay rights, pro-choice, gun control, thrice-married mayore of one of the most liberal and largest city in our nation; is he the face of small town, moral decency and regulation crowd? Did i miss something? Is there some policy that Rudy has in common with Palin or McCain, except of course for getting a royalty everytime the term 9/11 is used?
Several reporter weeped today in responsed to Mr. Obama's reaction to the McCain speech. Mr. Obama said: "How dare he (McCain)? How dare he talk about his scars so as to imply that I have not suffered, that I have not struggled. How dare he.. I too have scars. I too have suffered the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune." With that, Mr. Obama raised his pants and showed the reporters a scar on his knee that he had gotten after tumbling down Morning Side Heights after a night of partying at Columbia University.
Americans must be completely stupid if they buy in to the GOP crap !
Come America, 71 yld maverick leader, and a Jerry Springer Hockey mom ?
The world is laughing at us !!!
american must be completely stupid if they buy into the dem crap! Come America, 47 yld no experienced leader running on change, and a 31 yr career politician that rides amtrak. The world is laughing at us!!!
If you travel or read international newspapers, you might be aware that "the world" is laughing at a formerly great nation that has become so stupid that it has allowed its government to be highjacked by the religious right. Oh wait . . . everyone isn't laughing. There are a lot of unnecessarily dead and wounded Iraqis who are probably crying. Anyone found those WMDs yet?
I'll agree with both of you that the world is laughing at us, but I'm ok with that. I'm laughing at the world too.
America is completely stupid you two r-tards. Have you watched primetime TV, or looked at the movies we produce, or the music; or perhaps at our imprisonment stats, out rank globally in regards to education? Yes, America is filled with a majority of clueless, misinformed putzes, and these statements of slackjawed partisan talking points babble is just evidence.
If you want a real and unbiased appraisal of this race, just watch "The Daily Show" or "The Colbert Report". They seem to be the only news outlets that show both sides for exactly what they are.
I don't think this article gets it right: Neither Obama nor the DNC have disparaged McCain's personal story; Obama attacked McCain's policies but he didn't attack him personally. Compare that to Palin, Guiliani, Romney and Graham who MADE FUN of Obama for being a community organizer! Take that Jesus, Gandhi, the Abolitionists, Martin Luther King Jr. and the rest of those losers who dared organized people to make their lives better.
I really can't stand it when the media, "to be fair", pretend that both sides are equally responsible for something.
I don't believe they MADE FUN of B. Hussein for being a community organizer. They made comparisons between being a community organizer and a mayor or governor - a legitimate comparison. As a community organizer what was B. Hussein's budget that he was responsible for? As a community organizer how many employees were under B. Hussein's responsibility? There truly is no comparison between being a community organizer and being a governor of a state.....only left-wingers would try to make that comparison!
What do you call this?

Comment: Must Read for Mccain supporters.
do you remember at the speech Palin said Thanks , but no thanks to bridge to nowhere? well your So called Second Coming left out some details. So i am here to post them for you. :) you can thank me later. http://www.reuters.com/article/vcCandidateFeed7/idUSN3125537020080901
"ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - It garnered big applause in her first speech as Republican John McCain's vice presidential pick, but Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's assertion that she rejected Congressional funds for the so-called "bridge to nowhere" has upset many Alaskans.
During her first speech after being named as McCain's surprise pick as a running mate, Palin said she had told Congress "'thanks but no thanks' on that bridge to nowhere."
In the city Ketchikan, the planned site of the so-called "Bridge to Nowhere," political leaders of both parties said the claim was false and a betrayal of their community, because she had supported the bridge and the earmark for it secured by Alaska's Congressional delegation during her run for governor.
The bridge, a span from the city to Gravina Island, home to only a few dozen people, secured a $223 million earmark in 2005. The pricey designation raised a furor and critics, including McCain, used the bridge as an example of wasteful federal spending on politicians' pet projects.
When she was running for governor in 2006, Palin said she was insulted by the term "bridge to nowhere," according to Ketchikan Mayor Bob Weinstein, a Democrat, and Mike Elerding, a Republican who was Palin's campaign coordinator in the southeast Alaska city.
"People are learning that she pandered to us by saying, I'm for this' ... and then when she found it was politically advantageous for her nationally, abruptly she starts using the very term that she said was insulting," Weinstein said.
Last year, Palin announced she was stopping state work on the controversial project, earning her admirers from earmark critics and budget hawks from around the nation. The move also thrust her into the spotlight as a reform-minded newcomer.
The state, however, never gave back any of the money that was originally earmarked for the Gravina Island bridge, said Weinstein and Elerding.
In fact, the Palin administration has spent "tens of millions of dollars" in federal funds to start building a road on Gravina Island that is supposed to link up to the yet-to-be-built bridge, Weinstein said.
"She said 'thanks but no thanks,' but they kept the money," said Elerding about her applause line
Can the spin Jeremy. You people work for the Obama campaign. In this capacity,he has you people to hurl the invective.[The American people agree on this with 51% of those polled in yesterdays RASMUSSEN believing that the media animus aimed at Palin is of a Obama-partisan construct]. This Woe Is Us crap is just that. [Jeremy and his NEWSWEAK masters having to deal with three things]. One. Todays CBS News poll showing a dead heat again. [at 42-42%]. Two. A shrinking GALLUP lead for Obama, from eight points last week to three points now. Three. Todays ABC poll showing a greater Palin popularity than either Obama or McCain.
Jeremy thus whines over the ''God 'n Guns''deal forgetting that both of these in every single last poll ever conducted, show both of these as central American,as opposed to partisan, tenets.[Then too,McCain personally demanding that the ''earmarkers be exposed''is far more maverick a philosophy than the seedy crap. Mssrs.Hoyer,Murtha and Reid are pulling right now]. Which is why Obama did not give the Democrat-dominated Congress a lift. They feel, rightly, that this body has more thieves in it than Fagins basement.
Finally, what Jeremy does not want you to know,is that a careful study was made of the two speeches and found more personal attacks by Obama in his speech than McCain last night. That goes for Palin as well, though she was more humourous,Obama, more artful. You can view this study here.

McCain missed the critical point in the arc of his political career to serve as President. Ironically, it wasn't a biased media, liberal bloggers, or even mainstream Democrats that should be credited, it is the thugs that skewed his military record, his wife, his family, etc. . . The same thugs he looks to now to complete his political resume. There is a hint of the 'old' John McCain last night, but standout candidate of 8 years ago is gone. His message was tired and at odds with everthing said at the RNC this past week.
Why don't you talk about the fact that Sarah Palin cut funding for single teen moms in Alaska.
Or maybe about the fact that the so-called "advocate" for disabled Americans cut funding for such programs by no less than 63%!
Next there is the company that had to lay off workers because of a gas shortage - all the while Sarah Barracuda was making an international gas deal while saying she was sorry while lying through her teeth.
Why didn't Sarah Palin tell the audience that as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, she left a town of 9,000 people ten million dollars in debt, or that she hired a lobbyist to secure pork barrel spending and earmarks for the city?
Palin bragged to the audience about opposing the infamous bridge to nowhere, neglecting to mention that she was actually for it before she was against it.
Bilbo,
I am sure you noticed that
A) Doobie Roller called you "evil" just for disagreeing with her. I find it funny how it is the "true Christians" and "holy rollers" who are the first to judge and cast stones just for not thinking like they do. I wonder what Jesus would say about this attitude...
B) Doobie Roller never answered your point, she ignored it and mentioned the made up stuff, as she does every week, that somehow never makes it to any serious news outlet. Not even into Faux News.
And you are absolutely right Bilbo, Sarah Palin did cut funding for the disabled in Alaska and now, that her child has Down syndrome, she is promising to raise it. She was also a member of a secessionist group which wanted to break away from the US and is already mired in a scandal after a short 16 months in office. In short, she is really guilty of the stuff the right wingers make up about Obama. Country first? No, to them is party first!
First...you should be ashamed of your screen name....defaming a heroic hobbitt. Bilbo knew evil...not worship it as you.
2nd....you know not what you speak...what ya gonna do about this.....
Reissue of Summons
While the original summons was accepted ten days ago by the U.S. Attorney???s office on behalf of the Federal Election Commission, also a named defendant in Berg???s suit, proper service never reached the Democratic National Committee or Barack Obama???s agent for service. Today???s procedure will ensure that proper service is made, but the reasons behind the procedural hiccup remain a mystery to everyone involved.
???For whatever reason, Sen. Obama never received the summons,??? said Berg over the telephone this afternoon. ???The court mailed everything out on August 22nd.???
Latest News
And have learned yesterday the Summons were successfully served on Obama, the DNC and the Elections Committee! see above link
NOBAMA!!!
And i guess that being a mom whose struggling with our slumping economy is, sort of like being a "hockey Mom", except you don't have thousands and thousands of dollars to spend on equipment for your childs hobby, as you are just trying to keep them in clothes and fed.
I do think that McCain has a compelling story and is sincere in his public service. It is one of several stories and careers that a country can look to for potential guidance. I believe that arc of his political career that he would have best served as commander and chief was 8 years ago. HIs presidential ambitions and offerings to this country were not derailed by current Democratic propaganda, unfair media offerings, etc. . . It was derailed 8 years ago by a collection of political bullies that skewed his good name, his military record, his marriage, his wife, and throwing whatever out there that might seem like smoke to a fire. It is those low lifes that he now is looking to in desperation to complete his political resume. He is (IMO) not the same candidate as he was before.
Definitely a big AMEN. Too bad they won't say this on the TV were so many stupid chickens go to roost.
Newsweek should change their name to "Just Another Democratic Party Publication."
What little I saw of the convention disturbed me,That being the two pictures of MCain with the green backgrounds. In the first, taken earlier in the year, Shows MCain much more robust looking, he has better color, and his face is not so puffy .Do we know if MCain has a doctor on board?.Body systems have a weird way of beaking down, stress can weaken the body's defenses big time.Maybe that is why MCain does not do weekends.Anyway it is something to worry about because I have seen it happen. In my line of work I have contact with 70+ aged adults,Often you see them looking good one day then Bam!. they are gone the next day!.Sorry but this the truth.
