Amen. Intelligently and insightfully put. Thank you for giving voice to those who aren't concerned with the superficial female topics being thrust about in support of Palin. Who equated being strong to being mean? If someone doesn't even have the poise to make a valid point without resorting to barbs delivered in high school tones, how could that person hope to ever act skillfully in the geo-political environment? Insane.

This is the momemnt of truth for Hillary to show is she is or not behind Obama.
Silence is an acknolegement that she is preparing for 2012 election and her interest is above ours.
She has plenty of ammo to attack this natzi wearing a skirt.

Thank God that Sarah is no Hillary. The person that loves this country more than himself, has my vote.
    McCain/Palin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, Hillary is the last thing we need right now. She's an elitist who put up with a serial cheater so she could get into congress and maybe the White House as president. If she is a representative woman heaven help us.

AMEN!!!!! I totally agree with Patti Davis. Hillary, we need your voice and intelligence. And AMEN to Jokanaan's comment posted here!!!!

Women, women , women, here you have a women who's only been on the scene for a hot sec, has been under lock and key until her speech at the RNC and already you're touting her as this great warrior who refuse's to lie down in a battle that she just showed up for. Pooh, pooh, pooh, Hillary did'nt win so now you women feminest ( who want to play in a man's world but want to be treated softly ) are ralling behind Mc Cain and Palin, just because Hillary did'nt win. How shamefully shallow it is, with this country in the shape it's in, to jump ship just because a women is on the presidential ticket. To those women who have done so, you're not about Country First, you're about your own selfish agenda. By the way I'm a woman and I'm an indepentant.

    Beautifully written---and spot on.

It blows my mind to see comments about how unqualified the #2 pick is for the Republicans when I compare how unqualified the #1 pick is for the Democrats. WAKE UP PEOPLE...Of course Joe Biden is more qualified than Palin is, but Obama is not and he is the one that would be running the country! Come walk a bit in my shoes in Chicago and see what he has done for our city and state: NOTHING. At least Sarah Palin has a documented track record of accomplishing things for the people that voted her into office.

Clinton can talk all she wants - it really is up to us. Nov. 4th is D-day...we choose to keep our rights or we give them away...............

All I have seen from scary sarahie is a rude , hateful and sarcastic person with no plans for our country! I would never support someone like her in a millon years!Hillary is tough ,smart and she is devoted to issues that affect families all over our great country ! I consider Palin a pitbull without much of a mind, heart or soul! ( yes many pitbulls are intelligent , loving and good with famlies)

Thank you, well said. Sarah Palin is no Hillary!

  • Posted By: swimfast @ 09/06/2008 11:15:53 AM

Last time I checked, Hillary did not get the nomination. As a firm non-voter after Obama won, I decided to vote for him after the Clintons' speeches at the convention. It is not Hillary's job alone to combat this Republican ticket. Obama and Biden have to earn the votes. Hillary is doing her job.

Patti: What I would like to see is Hillary take 2 months off, then accept President McCain'soffer to be the country's new Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare. I think she would be an excellent choice, and only McCain is maverick enough to offer a post like this to her. Obama, despite all the image of supposed change, would never step that far outside the old-school box.

I agree with you. Hillary will make the great Secretary of Health. Universal Health Care is a great idea but it will never work under any circumstances. But Health Care for all the kids under 18 regardless of income will be acceptable to all.

Clinton can talk all she wants but the only way to ensure that a womans voice (and choices) are heard is to vote for Obama - especially if you do not share the same values as Palin. When it all comes down to it -
Nov. 4th is D-day. We choose wether we keep our rights or we give them away..............

scary sarahie is the anti Hiliary ! she is rude , sarcastic, hateful and a liar !( check her political record in Alaska) I would never in million years support someone like her ! I admire Hillary for her toughness, intelligence and her devotion to issues that affect families all over our country. I have seen nothing like that from Palin, actually I have seen nothing at all from her about important issues . I guess she is a pitbull without a bran or a heart !!!

Hey, Newsweek, every other week you ran an article demanding that Hillary drop out. If I were Hillary I would tell you guys to drop dead.

  • Posted By: nwcanadian @ 09/06/2008 11:04:11 AM

Hillary is as cynical as they come. She's been "fighting" for children and women for 30 years and has achieved basically nothing on their behalf. It's been a self-serving mission from the start, first to save her husband's political a**, and now to promote herself.

Thank you, Ms Davis. Exactly my thoughts. McCain looked fragile + stiff during his RNC speech. Palin is just too inexperienced.
What have Republicans to offer? More of the same. Even Bush's and McCain's speeches sound all too familiar. We cannot afford 4 more years of the same.

Thank you, Ms Davis. Exactly my thoughts. McCain looked fragile + still during his RNC speech. Palin is just too inexperienced.
