I agree with Ms. Davis and from what I understand Hillary will be out on the campaign trail very soon. And I pray that the machine gun shooter from a helicopter does not become our vicepresident.

A GAO Report About The Damage Done To The White House During Hillary, Bill, and Al Gore's Stealing Spree At The End Of The Clinton Administration. This is Astounding!

Rude, snarky, snippy . . . sounds like another way of calling her a b*tch. My impression of her was quite different. Strong, personable, feminine, and unwilling to be defined by others who would tear her and her family down for shallow political purposes. And by strong I mean strong in the way of meeting the daily challenges of raising a family in an increasingly treacherous world. Also she appears to be someone who lives her life in a way consistent with her principles. I think that's admirable. As far as Hillary goes, you know that she will be content with an Obama loss this coming November (as long as she is not given the blame).

You really think McCain was trying to win over hard-core liberal feminists like yourself? Don't flatter yourself. He knows that the feminazis will vote for the Celebrity Community Organizer. He chose Palin for women who actually think for themselves. Way to reveal yourself as nothing more than a tool for the Democrats. You even abandoned one of your own -- Hillary Clinton. Now you expect her to save BO's butt? No way.

I am a woman who voted for Hillary, and I find Palin appalling.

  • Posted By: 1111 @ 09/05/2008 8:13:00 PM

FYI LMAO, McCain also voted against MLK Day. That's "Truth" and "beyond blackness".

Thank you Patti Davis!!! I hope that Hillary reads this "letter". I have emailed this "Letter to Hillary" to all of my friends and I hope that they will email this article to all of their friends.

My first public comment ever - but thank you for expressing my sentiments, and I am sure when she (Hillary)is able, she will energize us again as always.

My first public comment ever - and I couldn't agree more, thank you for expressing my sentiments. I'm sure once she is able to respond, she will energize us once more.

Right on Patti, I fully agree with you and your "Letter" to Hillary. Thanks for writing it, I have emailed this to many of my friends and I hope they pass it on to many of their friends. And, I hope that this article gets to Hillary and fast.

    To LMAO,
There was a reason why there wasn't a lot of ethnic folks present at the Republican convention-they have a history of NOT having our best interest. (I'm Hispanic).

    Here's something to chew on.

Oscar Tillman heads the Phoenix area branch of the NAACP and is a former statewide president of the group. He has been a leader of Arizona???s small, tight-knit African-American community for decades. ??????So it comes as something of a surprise to learn the name of one person, over all those years, with whom he has never spoken. It is the state???s senior senator better known these days as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. ??????John McCain, said Tillman, ???has pretty well zero relationship with the African-American community that I know of.??? ?????????I don???t recall him ever attending any function with the NAACP,??? Tillman added. ???Each year we send them an invitation [to an annual banquet], and each year they say no.??? ??????Interviews with black civic and business leaders in Arizona found no one who suggested that McCain holds racial animus. And McCain can point to some warm personal and political associations with blacks, some of whom cited his responsiveness to their concerns when they approached him on official business. ??????But the widespread perception of activists in the state???s traditional civil rights organizations and the African-American press is that McCain has consistently treated them with indifference.

So, if McCain doesn't take care of or spend time with folks like you and I on the local and state level, what do you think he's going to do for us and other minorities in the White House? Nothing.

You have 60 days to do something or "nothing."

You just don't get it do you, Patti Davis, Obama, DNC? It's not about Hillary Clinton anymore. It's about a corrupt DNC and Obama campaign that hijacked an election. Its about how the sexist mainstream media, including Newsweek, treated Senator Hillary Clinton and by extension, all women. We won't let them get away with stealing our votes, or our very democracy.

The McCain campaign has borrowed our slogan "Country Before Party" . We are PUMA's, we are strong and you will hear our roar in November. We will not vote for Obama.

Some of us were headed for McCain and Palin is only icing on the cake. The Republicans appear to know how to respect women, unlike the Democratic party which crucified Senator Hillary Clinton.

    McCain/Palin 2008
    2012- Hillary Clinton (we'll wait)

    PUMA !

Ms Davis certainly does not speak for this woman. I, personally, am glad that Palin's on the ticket. It makes me feel more hopefull that McCain might actually accomplish something good. Davis may think that Palin has no right to talk about how a woman should be, but who gave Davis the right to decide what a woman should or should not be or do? Gimme a break. As for politics, Obama scares the daylights out of me and Clinton in the office would be our doom. There are too many world leaders out there who would refuse to even talk to her let alone deal with her.
We need to get this country back to a sound moral, economic and educational base. Letting the Dem's be in charge at this point would ultimately be our downfall. We need to stop letting left-wing, over-liberal, self-centered people make decisions for the rest of us.

Thank you Patti. Help us Hillary.

As of now the average life span for a white American male is 73 years. That mean McCain has an extremely high rate of NOT being with us the full four year term. And while Palin's rah-rah speech was aimed at adding more glitter and "lipstick" to McCain's cause, she is not capable as Commander in Chief to help stimulate our economy, protect our jobs at home, combat global warming or protecting us from countries who hate us and terrorist just because she's a hockey mom, has a special needs kid and has a pregnant teen. And we are about to see her track record of what she has really done in the next exposed in the next 60 days.

And thanks to my 111 former Republican friends who are now voting for Obama.

Dear motherlode: You have your opinions and I have mine. She's not an insult to our nation but rather a breath of fresh air. Who in the world is laughing at us? And why would you care? What makes you say she has no class? And why isn't her education as good as Hillary"s? Are you an east coast snob? Did you know she's a governor?

    @ 09/05/2008 6:49:30 PM
Comment: Sarah Palin's nomination is an insult to our nation. She is an embarrasment and Patti Davis' remarks were right on. The future of our nation is at stake and Hillary knows that. The rest of the world is laughing at us and well they should. McCain is the one is to blame for her being thrust on us, no class at all, no education worth anything, a risk to our future if he should die, a mayor of a town smaller than our high school. Shame on you!

Ever heard about the story - the dog in the manger? Hillary lost my respect when she failed to stand up to the DNC bullies and demand her right to presenther case at the convention. No one got to finish line and so she earned that right. Now that she forfeited that right she is out there to stop another female from eclipsing her in the political realm? What is wrong with Sarah Palin? I have an Ivy League education - BSc, MSc, and MBA. And yet Sarah with what little she has have achieved a whole lot more than I have for her community. It is not what fancy degree you have is what you do with it. And all the folks who are crying her down are simply green with envy and resentment. I used to be for Hillary but now I am for Palin. My support of Hillary was limited but for Palin I will be actively engaged. It is time we allow real "blue" collar folks speak up and tell us exactly where they are hurting. As opposed to having pretenders like Biden (Scranton roots) and Obama giving empty speeches. Anyone for a class war? Then continue to cry down Palin. There are more folks of her economic standing as opposed to the folks like Obama who is the master of empty rhetoric. McCain/Palin 2008.

Izabael, I'm assuming you eat no meat. If not, I don't understand your comment about grown women knowing better than to shoot animals. If she eats the meat of the animals, she's feeding her family much better meat than any grocery store will provide. Wild meat has no antibiodics or hormones. No I dont' hunt as I dont' have it in me to kill an animal. But .......I realize my own hyprocrisy.
