Here we go again... it's called obstruction of justice.

I would think that she would want this matter settled as quickly as possible if she is, as she claims, completely innocent of all charges. What does it imply that she is trying to either halt the investigation or stall it until after the election.

McCain???s judgment offers us the following:
Palin as President. More Bush smoke and mirrors.
Higher deficits for US; more debt to China; Lower minimum wage; Less safety for workers, greater wealth for the rich
No incentives for US jobs; Social Security privatization?
More illegal incarcerations/ kidnapping/ torture, loss of personal privacy, and more Constitution raping.
Less rights for gays, then who? You?
No equal pay for equal work, no Roe vs. Wade, no legal contraceptives, no child care outside the home.
Crime will increase: criminal cartels will provide illegal contraceptives. And the hungry will steal, mug or burglarize to get food.
School vouchers equal Republican???s siphoning our tax dollars to evangelical schools and starving public education: our children will learn only right wing world visions. And who deserves to live in that world.
McCain???s ignorance of plus right wing sexual obsessions about the Internet will create laws limiting its use.
McCain will reinstate the draft and a foreign policy in line with his warrior fantasies. His inability to think clearly will lead us into more wars, perhaps WWIII.

Do we have seating available for a Grand Jury to be seated for a full legal investigation. You know just like Palins' supporter Ted Stevens!

Palin would be foolish to stop the investigation. That action would release the involved parties from the requirement not to discuss (with the Enquirer) their sides of the "Troopergate" controversy. Instead of an investigation ending on October 10, she would have a bleeding controversy until November 4. But, for the Republican base, voting on single issues: God, Guns, and Abortion, their faith may be such that no facts may be admissible. The Palin family will have a long run in the tabloids.

It seems someone in high places does not want all the information about Obama and Ayers known.

After several days of negative publicity, the CAC changed their minds and allowed Kurtz access the documents. You can rest assured that the documents were first purged of Obama-negative material.

................................It is obvious that the McCain Campaign is going to do all that is possible to squelch the investigation about the situation with Palin and the Alaska Trooper. This feels manipulative just like the situation in year 2000 with the Vote Counting........The Bush Team kept manipulating to stop counting votes immediately and wanted their own Bush Won version to be pushed on the Country. They used favorable Judges to get their way and steal the election. I feel information about Palin is going to be controlled and this will be a similar attempt to steal the 2008 election by deceipt.

I would imagine since Henry Gonzalez and his associates filled the historically non-partisan Justice Department with Religious Right Conservatives from Bob Jones University and Jerry Falwell's Liberty University, this matter will be quickly handled with a phone call from someone because it is what "Jesus would do".

Once again we see that in America the rich and well connected get a different type of justice than most common folk.
