"Deposing" your own witness, and without opposing counsel present, might sound unusual. But not, apparently, for Thomas Van Flein. As a defense tactic on Sept. 1, on behalf of Gov. Palin he initiated an ethics complaint with the Alaska Attorney General, regarding the matter of the Governor's dismissal of former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monehan. This is an ethics "complaint" which maintains, in 60 itemized paragraphs, that "there is no violation of Alaska ethics law, and there is no plausible allegation that there has been a violation." McCain has made a grievous mistake and will not admit it, does this sound familiar like the last President it time to put some people under oath and get at the truth. If they perjury themselves they need to go to jail and not be running for Vice President. Then McCain him self should be put under oath and ask what he knew and when.

McCain has made a real error in judgement and will not admit it, does this sound familiarly maybe like our last President. Its is time for the truth to be known and the Republicans can't stand it. Do you think that if Obama had nominated this lady for VP the Republican would have a lynch mob out now.

Is it just me or has anyone thought about the potential new hit reality show, "Life With The Palin's" or "Hockey Mom's In Trees?" Whatever, you get the point. This family has so much DRAMA.... but that's just not what I am willing to vote into the White House. I am concerned about global warming, civil liberties, unnecessary wars, nuclear proliferation, affordable healthcare, THE ECONOMY....not baby-daddy's, family feuds, hunting moose, tasering children, pregnant teenagers, DWI's, child custody battles or pitbull's w/lipstick......... There are only 60 days until this extremely important election and this is just a distraction....a waste of valuable time. There are some big issues to be concerned with and we need to get our country back.... headed in a "different" direction.

the reason they are not able to get it out is because mccain is putting a block on the press unless it helps him out. mccain camp is putting the squeeze on the press. this is why for the last 40 years i have never trusted the government. say one thing to your face and then do the complete opposite behind. this is the very first time i actually have the gut feeling going for obama. i hate government but i love obama/biden

TeVerde don't post that here. Try and get in contact with the Obama campaign. Although I won't worry about it too much. I want Palin to be brought to justice, but the bottom line is the people want to hear about the issues. McCain and Palin have no plans, so no matter how you look at it Obama and Biden will win. McCain, Palin and the GOP are desperate but their resistance is futile. Its already over.

To use an expression of my father's: This stinks to high heaven. The McCain campaign should stay out of this matter. If they don't like what's going on (more than predictable), Governor Palin should never have been put on the ticket. Leave it to the Alaskans to battle it out on their own.
