Comment: Alaska has a part-time Legislature. They have 90 days to accomplish what they must and then they can have a Special session only if the Governor calls for it. Like everything else, this special session requires funding. Governor Palin acted the Fiscal Conservative that she is and cut funding to programs throughout Alaska, including programs Conservatives champion as well as programs Liberals champion.

Grow up, had she been a partisan hack and chopped only from Liberals, she would never have heard the end of it. She did what she had to in a fair and balanced manner. She acted professionally.

Regardless of what Sarah has done, or will do in the future she will never please the members of your staff, for the simple fact she is conservative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank God for Sarah!!

Comment: Obama's view of the future of America - Socialism which is the next step to Communism!!

Under socialism a ruling class of intellectuals, bureaucrats and social planners decide what people want or what is good for society and then use the coercive power of the State to regulate, tax, and redistribute the wealth of those who work for a living. In other words, socialism is a form of legalized theft.

The morality of socialism can be summed-up in two words: envy and self-sacrifice. Envy is the desire to not only possess another's wealth but also the desire to see another's wealth lowered to the level of one's own. Socialism's teaching on self-sacrifice was nicely summarized by two of its greatest defenders, Hermann Goering and Bennito Mussolini. The highest principle of Nazism (National Socialism), said Goering, is: "Common good comes before private good." Fascism, said
Mussolini, is "a life in which the individual, through the sacrifice of his own private interests??realizes that completely spiritual existence in which his value as a man lies."

Socialism is the social system which institutionalizes envy and self-sacrifice: It is the social system which uses compulsion and the organized violence of the State to expropriate wealth from the producer class for its redistribution to the parasitical class.

Despite the intellectuals' psychotic hatred of capitalism, it is the only moral and just social system.

Capitalism is the only moral system because it requires human beings to deal with one another as traders--that is, as free moral agents trading and selling goods and services on the basis of mutual consent.

Capitalism is the only just system because the sole criterion that determines the value of thing exchanged is the free, voluntary, universal judgement of the consumer. Coercion and fraud are anathema to the free-market system.

It is both moral and just because the degree to which man rises or falls in society is determined by the degree to which he uses his mind. Capitalism is the only social system that rewards merit, ability and achievement, regardless of one's birth or station in life.

    Yes, there are winners and losers in capitalism. The winners are those who are honest, industrious, thoughtful, prudent, frugal, responsible, disciplined, and efficient. The losers are those who are shiftless, lazy, imprudent, extravagant, negligent, impractical, and inefficient. [What about the role of luckbeing in the right place at the right time or the wrong place at the wrong time? R. R. Pope}

Capitalism is the only social system that rewards virtue and punishes vice. This applies to both the business executive and the carpenter, the lawyer and the factory worker.

Comment: Sarah Palin is a fraud. She was pregnant before she got married, has had an affair with one of her husband's friends, her 19 year old son is rumored to have serious drug problems, her 17 year old unwed daughter is pregnant, and she has used her political power to get even with people who disagree with her, yet all she talks about is being a "good Christian" and doing God's will. As a Christian she is a hypocrite who can not walk her talk, and as a politician she is completely unqualified to be Vice President. Her interview with Katie Couric showed her to be a woman with a disorganzied mind, a woman who is in over her head, utterly unprepared for the twist her fate has taken.

Even committed Republicans who support McCain have to ask themselves if they really would take the risk of putting our country into Palin's hands. Sure, being VP doesn't necessarily take a lot of skills, but being President requires great intelligence and a clear-eyed world view, one untainted by religious fanaticism. Look at the mess we got with the under qualified Dubya, and even he seems smarter and less fanatical than Palin. McCain is 72 years old, with high cholesterol and high blood pressure; his father and grandfather each died of heart attacks at age 72. McCain's Vice President HAS to be ready to lead. And by lead, I am not referring to a full speed charge into Armageddon.

For those of you who don't know, Palin belongs to a fundamentalist church that believes the end of the world is near: that war, financial distress and famine will kill off the sinful non-believers, and that when this holocaust occurs all good Christians will be taking refuge in Alaska. Furthermore, her church conducts witch hunts -- they actually use prayer to locate "witches" in their community, then publicly brand them as witches, and hold them responsible for everything that goes wrong in town. (Honestly, I think the long winters must be getting to their minds.) You can go on YouTube and watch videos of Palin participating during sermons like this. She stands on the altar facing the members. The congregation stands with outstretched hands, trancelike, speaking in tounges while the priest prays to "keep Sarah safe from all forms of witchcraft."

Could you REALLY feel comfortable knowing that a woman who holds these beliefs would have the power to declare war and deploy nuclear missles?

Comment: McCain ??? Palin and The Oil Industry
In 2006 , Bp Alaska, Exxon Mobile, Chevron and Conoco Phillips gave over 1.7 Million dollars to AK First Org. Inc. and to Alaska Oil and Gas Association to repeal Measure 2 of the Alaska Constitution. They succeeded with the help of Palin. By spreading the wealth their 1.7 Million dollar Investment created a windfall of profits only rivaled by Mr. Buffet himself.

With Palin???s help and under the watchful eye of the Bush. Cheney and Mc Cain administration the Oil Emirates will also receive credits against future taxation worth even more billions of dollars. It appears that Palin and the Bush administration are paying the oil companies back all the taxes they have paid since the inception of Measure 2.

What do we know about Palin? Not much according to the Media. We do know Governor Palin is the Public Member for the Alaska Oil and Natural Gas Conservation Commission. What you should know is that the mission of Alaska Oil and Natural Gas Conservation Commission is to work hand in hand with the oil industry to help maximize production, improve resource recovery and to reduce the rights of land owners through its correlative rights mandate. They are task with overseeing the disposal of all toxic waste produced by companies such as Alaska Oil, Chevron, Exxon and BP Alaska.

According to the ??? Inlet Keeper??? these companies are ???legally??? pumping 2 Billion Gallons of toxic waste into the fisheries of Cook Inlet annually. Governor Pain is one of three controlling members of this group comprised of One Geologist, One Petroleum Engineer and one public member, ie Palin.

Wow! its no wonder they picked her for VP. The media chooses to ignore or not care about these facts. Just as with the mis-information they brought us with Iraq they have again been bought and paid for by special interest. Yes afraid of going against the powerful political machine of the Bush administrative and detrimental to the public of the United States and rest of the world; our news media is again not reporting the facts! Surprised; no I???m not but you should be!

The oil companies are once again putting their own candidate into office. They are selling us a Miss America candidate with her cute little smile in a business suit. A candidate who is in charge of and has been responsible for saving oil companies billions by letting them pump two billion gallons of toxic waste into the Cook Inlet and Ice Fields of Alaska annually . You wonder why the Ice is melting maybe it???s the Billions of Gallons of toxic waste compliments of our own greed and unwillingness to reduce our dependence on oil!

Vote for Real Change vote against the Emirates of Alaska and their Palin Pawn, the Mavericks and Cowboys of Arizona, Texas and beyond!

Vote Obama! Make history Make a Difference!

Comment: Palin wanted to be seen here in Alaska as "the reformer", and a "take-charge:" sorta gal. But she had no clue what she was cutting in the budget and didn't care. She has a history of doing whatever she perceives will be popular, including throwing $1200 checks at every citizen, (including those under 18 who don't pay gas/heating bills). Supposedly women are going to vote the McCain/Palin ticket for this person? That would be a grave mistake for our country. Palin's views are not supportive of women and children's needs. Think, people!

Comment: John McCain knew that Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac would collapse, and thereby unjustly burden the American public!

In 2005, Senator John McCain cosponsored the Federal Housing Enterprise Reform Act to regulate the powers and procedures of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.

These 2 massive federal finance agencies had been operating without controls in a blatant irresponsible manner, and had been found guilty in court of falsifying financial records and statements in order to provide supposed justification for bonuses to be given to their higher echelon administrators.

These 2 organizations had been coerced by Democrats, who because of political opportunism, wanted them to grant mortgages to individuals who would be unable to make their required monthly payments. That would be in accordance with the irresponsible Democrat belief that everyone should be entitled to have their own home, irrespective of their actual ability to afford that luxury.

Both of these mortgage lending institutions have contributed massive financial sums to support the political aspirations of Chris Dodd and Barack Obama.

Senator John McCain realized 3 years ago that fraudulent transactions were rampant within these 2 enterprises, and that they would soon collapse if remedial action was not undertaken.
Their bankruptcy would result in the American taxpayers having to go into debt to resurrect or ???bail-out??? these fraudulent Congress protected entities.

As was to be expected, this proposal to institute meaningful financial reform measures was obstructed by the Democrats in the Senate, and the proposal failed to be adopted.

This year, due to the Democrat furor over the collapse of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, the American taxpayers are burdened by having to pay a minimum of 450 billion dollars to ???bail out??? these 2 recklessly managed lending companies.

John McCain exposed and opposed the corrupt lending practices of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.
Barack Obama ???milked the system??? and profited by obstructing reform of their corrupt lending practices.

Democrats have demonstrated that they can wreck the mortgage industry.

Are you willing to vote them into office, and give them a blank check to mismanage the American economy, security, and health care?

Comment: The Obama Campaign Sinks to a New Low in Decency

The Obama campaign, as it continues to flounder and sink in the polls, has descended to a new low, even for itself.

Recently it has launched a new TV ad in which a mocking narrator alleges that John McCain is so out of touch with the current generation because of his inability to use a computer.

The narrator does not admit that the reason John McCain doesn???t use a computer is because 5 and a half years of torture as a POW in the Vietnam war cause him to experience severe pain by attempting to do many of the day to day menial tasks which most of the American population take for granted.

Obviously the Obama campaign does not demonstrate any appreciation and respect for the veteran and current members of the US military!

The obamabot ship is sinking, and the crew are sure grasping at straws in their pitiful attempt to deceive the voting public. Yes, Obama approved that deceitful ad - it is consistent with his decrepit morally corrupt standards.

Obviously that empty suit has no heart, courage, sincerity, honour, and respect!

Do you expect a presidential candidate to be truthful in striving to win the election?
If so, Obama just doesn???t ???measure up??? in that consideration!

Obama is an unscrupulous do-anything community agitator who has revealed his true previously hidden self!

On November 4, you, the legal American voting public, have the opportunity and ability to cast Obama back to that slag heap of Chicago manipulators who permeate the slum areas of that city.

Comment: Obama won't get many peoples vote when the election comes around. Why? He is against the working woman; he wants sex education for 5 year olds; he uses drugs; he takes money from known felons to fund his political campaigns; he sat in a church for 20 years which was anti-American and anti-white. He has had so many soft ball questions from the liberal media that he even felt justified to not have a female VP.

Comment: This article supports the view that Sarah Palin is so willing to listen to all sides of an issue and work on important issues. Unlike Obama - who has trashed anyone who does not think the same way he does - she has listened to all and is willing to make reforms for the American people. Obama attack on all Republican ideas is so small minded, Sarah Palin is willing to reach out and work the issues. Go girl go!

She has been there for her children, she will support programs for disadvantaged and special needs children, she has been head of the PTA. She shops at local stores like Walmart and does not have a problem to sit down with people who have a problem. Sarah also understands energy. Wow - Someone who can really make a difference.

Comment: Palin wouldn't get my vote if she were the only one running. If you don't work to prevent unwanted pregancies, you are not working for women, families, so-called "life." Unless you think women are just cows that should breed, even to the point of saying rape and incest have a bright side if they leave a woman pregnant.

"Schlang," you sound like any other republican b.s. machine. Areas with lots of minorities have been shown to have trouble with access to voting because they would like to historically vote democratic. And "win at all costs" is clearly the despirate measure McCain is using with this unwise choise of Palin as a running mate.

Comment: Obama was dangling that carrot in front of Hillary's face for the longest time. He finally broke silence with bill the other day with a trip to his office. He also was reportedly short of funds and had to skip campaigning to go to a fund raiser. Did he finally get the money to pay off Hillary's campaign debt? Is this why Bill was suddenly willing to help?"

You don't get around very much do you? No newspapters or internet either? If you did, you would have noticed that Obama raised 66 millions dollars in August, so I doubt that he is short of funds.

    • Posted By: jmario @ 09/14/2008 1:38:21 AM

Comment: Because they're false. Gibson tried to nail her on the "holy war" comment but apparently he didn't even know he was reading an inaccurate quote back to her.

She did not cut funding for special needs kids, she tripled it. She did not cut funding for pregnant teens, she almost doubled it. She did not "get back on a plane when she was in labor," she flew home to Alaska after leaking amniotic fluid (that's not the same thing as water breaking) with her doctor's blessing. After she got home to her own hospital, they induced labor.

You guys need to stop believing every negative thing you hear about this woman. It's become ridiculous how many lies are out there about her. Don't fall for them, it only makes you look gullible.

Comment: OK. I'm a nurse so I know a few things. When a woman ruptures her membranes a month before her due date, it's considered an obstectrical emergency. Any pregnant woman who is not retarded and ruptures her membranes a month early, knows the baby is in trouble. When you're pregnant with a Down Syndrome child, you have also been told about the high risk for the baby to be born with severe, life-threatening cardiac problems and the need for the baby to be born in a hospital with a Lever 3 nursery to maximize the chance of saving the baby's life.

So, knowing all of this, please tell me why Gov. Palin, a staunch Right-to-Life supporter (1) had a genetic amnio at 13 weeks when the risk of miscarriage was 3 times greater then if she had waited until the normal time of 18 weeks when she wasn't going to do anything despite the outcome? (2) Decided she had to fly from Alaska to Texas, a total of 24 hours flying time, when she was 8 months pregnant with her 5th child, and a special needs one at that? (3) When she ruptured her membranes in Houston, why didn't she go to one of the 6 or so hospitals there with a Level 3 nursery to get the medications she needed to save her baby's life? (4) Why did she get on 2 airplanes and fly back to Alaska and risk the real possibility of delivering the baby in the air? (5) What would she have done if the baby had been born on the plane and had bad heart problems? (6) When she landed in Alaska, why didn't she go to the medical university there in Fairbanks? (7) Why did she drive home in the snow an hour away to have the baby in her small town hospital?

Gov. Palin may be Pro-Life but every choice she made in her pregnancy with Trig showed reckless disregard for his life and only concern for what was best and convenient for hers.

    • Posted By: jmario @ 09/14/2008 1:39:56 AM

Comment: Her membranes didn't break, they leaked. Not the same. I leaked amniotic fluid at six months and again at eight months and neither time did I go into labor. She didn't go into labor until she returned to Alaska and the doctor induced labor.

Comment: Hey Everyone - we could argue all day long about the tabloid stories and who's being picked on in the media and who's not - but utimately - this election is going to come down to the economy and asking yourselves if you are better off now than you were 8 years ago. And now that Sarah Palin has made it clear she intends to behave like a pit-bull with rabies combined with a mad-as-hell bucking bull (with listick), she's basically promising to play her part in 4 more years of partisan gridlock and fully supports Bush's policies 100% as does McCain. It's a real siimple choice and James Carville (who I don't always agree with) definately summed it up nicely:

"By every economic measure known to man, Democratic Presidents have out-performed Republican Presidents. And by the way if you believe the economy was better under George W Bush than Bill Clinton you???ve got a real clear choice here.

"If you think what America needs is a tax cut for people making over half-a-million dollars a year then vote for McCain. If you think middle-class people are struggling ??? that their incomes are going down and they need help ??? vote for Obama. It???s a very simple choice".

Comment: Palin walks the walk and lives the talk, unlike Obama.

She represents what she believes in her actions. That is admirable, even if you disagree with her on the underlying issue.

The most interesting thing is that she does not try to force her views on others. She leads by example.

Palin is pro-life, even in the case of rape, and opposes same-sex marriage and favors teaching creationism alongside evolution in schools. But she hasn't pushed for legislative changes in any of those areas.

That says plenty. It shows she knows the limits of government. Government isn't there to tell us what to do.

Obama seems more inclined to use government to control it's citizens than Palin.

Comment: The biggest shame of this campaign is that people like you believe this fake. She was picked by the GOP campaign, not McCain. He is not smart enough think like this not devious enough. They picked her because they know that the GOP working class, conservative base was between a rock and a hard place. You needed something to hold on to. There was nothing in the GOP for you folks; nothing in this campaign. You're on the wrong side of right. You are the clogs, and the grease in the GOP machine. You see Sarah Palins every day; speaking all the "stuff" you want to here. So they picked this person to pick you up. Get you back in the game. They will use you voters like they have in the past. They have given you a shadow, a ghost,. After the campaign you will be put on the polital shelf until next time.

When I think of so many women in the GOP who are accomplished and ready to lead: congresswomen, Governors, cabinet members, I ponder why in the world would McCain do such a thing?: But I know: it is easier to use such ignorant voters to keep the GOP in power. And you know who is going to suffer the most. You are. That you could believe that this woman could have an effect on change in this country is sublime, insane. Remember when you go behind the curtain to vote, it will be your sons and daughters who will be sent to senseless wars to line the pockets of the rich; it will be your house that is foreclosed; it may your town or city that is subjected to a terrorist attack; it will be your job at stake when companies continue to send jobs overseas; and women's rights could be pushed back 50 years. The world is watching , waiting and laughing at us.

As for Palin, her household is in a mess. Her pregnant child is proof that her politics don't work. Children should n't have children. What happened to Palin going home to spend time with her son before his deployment to Iraq? Comment: Palin's pregnant child is proof of nothing other than that teenagers will be teenagers and will often make bad choices.

Children shouldn't have children, but you have no right to judge Palin or her daughter for choosing to have the baby instead of aborting it. That is what freedom of choice is supposed to be about, letting people choose.

Comment: Oh he's ready to give taxpayer money away to the poor, but how much of his own has he given to the poor?

He's pro-choice, whose abortion has he defended?

He claims to work across the aisle, but truth is that he just takes credit for other people's work.

He has a dream all right, his dream, not MLK's dream. And he's ready to use race to reach his goal, even if it means dividing the democratic party.

Obama says he's pro-union, but then supports a Walmart tool in a Chicago campaign.

Obama says he's pro-Israel, but he tells his Palestinian friends he'll be more up front with his support of Palestine when the election is over.

Obama claims to not take special interest money, but does so with carefully selected words and takes more special interest money than anyone -- without limits because he uses bundlers instead of taking PAC money.

Obama claims to want to reform campaign finance laws, then pushes the envelope by spending tons of $$ from his own HOPE PAC to set up his presidential campaign, all while telling the FEC that he has no plans to run for POTUS.

Obama denies connections to Rezko money, but then has to give it to charity.

        Shall I go on?

Comment: That's just the point, Palin hasn't tried to tell people what to do. She even vetoed a law that would have denied gay couples equal health care rights, saying that would be unconstitutional.

Stop trying to shove abortion down people's throats. People who think it is killing babies shouldn't be expected to agree with the government using their tax money to fund abortions.

And he obtained 12 million in tax breaks for foreign companies.

We need fiscal conservatives in office, people who know how to balance a budget, and that would not be anything Obama has ever had to do. Palin has done balanced a huge budget, and McCain has spent years fighting against the earmarks.

Comment: The huge increases in tax revenues during her mayoral administration weren???t enough to fund everything on her wish list though, borrowed money was needed, too. She inherited a city with zero debt, but left it with indebtedness of over $22-million. What did Mayor Palin encourage the voters to borrow money for? Was it the infrastructure that she said she supported? The sewage treatment plant that the city lacked? Or a new library? No. $1-million for a park, $15-million-plus for construction of a multi-use sports complex...She also supported bonds for $5.5-million for road projects that could have been done in 5-7 years without any borrowing.???

The city of Wasilla has made available all of its budgets during Palin???s tenure. So we grabbed the fiscal year ending 1996 (when Palin took the reins), which showed the city???s long-term debt at $1.12-million, mostly for paving and sewer projects.

The annual financial report for fiscal year ending June 30, 2002 ??? Palin???s last year in office ??? shows that the total long-term debt was $24.8-million. So Kilkenny is off a bit when she says long-term debt went from zero to $22-million. But it did increase $23.7-million.

And Kilkenny is also correct about the big-ticket items that created the debt: $14.7-million for a new multi-use sports complex; $5.5-million for street projects; and $3-million for water improvement projects.

The first woman POTUS will be conservative and the first black POTUS will be conservative -- both for the same reason that only Nixon could normalize relations with China.

The reduction that Palin did had nothing to do with this PRIVATE organization???s regular operations. It was, in fact, an adjustment to a staff budget proposal, which was responding to a special request from Covenant House for a grant related to a planned expansion of its facilities. In other words, it was for new construction, NOT for the funding of their ongoing, day-to-day activities. Ms. Paul could have discovered the true nature of Covenant House Alaska merely by typing those words into Google; but she was apparently too busy doing a hatchet-job on Plain to bother with basic fact-checking.

Comment: A REAL LOOK AT THE FACTS:

Fact: She did INCREASE funding for unwed mothers, by over 300 PERCENT!!!

Fact: The Cook Inlet project was tied in with an environmental issue where Chevron Oil had pacted with the previous incumbent Frank Markwoski who took away the right of those residents to be involved in those choices and turned it over to the legislature. Sarah is trying to reverse this decision, but the legislatures are still refusing to hold session. By the way, there is a huge environmental issue that Sarah is actively trying to resolve. The Cook Inlet Keeper, has publicly thanked her for being willing to fight for reversal of the decisions made by previous corrupt politicians.

Fact: In reference to the issues about Violence Against Females, you may have noticed that she is under investigation for firing her Public Safety Commissioner. Yep, that's the big story everyone is talking about where he is trying to say that he was fired because he didn't fire her brother-in-law! Her stance is that the disagreed on what she thought to be crucial issues. (There is a story here, Katie Paul, for any reporter with a healthy nose for a good story and a sharp intellect for fact checking.)

Fact: Sarah Palin is one of The Most Concerned politicians that we may ever know. Compare the record of what she HAS done to any other Governor in thier first 18 months!!!

Fact: You ask, "Could Palin have done more?" - She isn't finished yet!

Fact: The true story is that Sarah Palin has more of her priorities straight than most of us will ever know. Many will agree with her, and many will disagree - but everyone will benefit from her courage, her strength and her integrity that is right now withstanding more scrutiny than anyone I have ever seen be scrutinized. - She'll Pass! She'll make women proud! You don't have to agree with someone to recognize their greatness.

Katie Paul, just because you (or your boss or both) disagree with Sarah Palin is no excuse for sloppy reporting! You know, those of us that are in awe of this woman making history whether we agree with her are not are saving articles and pictures and stories, etc. Do your best work! It might be around for longer than you realize! Personally, I think you are probably better than this article, Katie Paul! - Show us your best stuff!

Comment: If the republicans win the election in November, they are going to be very happy campers. Normal.

Then, shortly thereafter, reality will set in. Those well off republicans will be happy for the next four or eight years. They will enjoy life paying for whatever they want.

But what about the republicans who aren???t so well off? Those that will struggle to pay their rent or mortgage payments, fill their tanks, pay for health care and even buy their favorite foods and all the other things that goes with the cost of living. Having been there, I will really feel sorry for them. Yes, many democrats will be there too.

But, at the same time I will feel a great sense of justice knowing they are experiencing the effects of their own votes to put McCain in office and that I, as well as all democrats, did not contribute to their plight. They will NOT be able to have whatever they want or perhaps even what they need while their well off counterparts will. One thing they will have though and at no extra cost. That is their memory of the lies, distortions, and hate spewed by their rich republican counterparts against a very intelligent Harvard law School graduate and State and US Senator who wanted nothing more than to make the country prosperous, NOT just the well off, but for them as well. I hope they can live on that because, just like during the last eight years, the well off republicans wont give a damn about them.

What they, and all of us, will have is just MORE OF THE SAME . . . .
or perhaps, something even worse. And even if you like Palin, she is NOT the decision and policy maker, McCain is.

    One thing is for certain:

After November 4th, there can be buyer???s remorse but there can???t be any going back

Gee, Sarah Palin's sure got the obamabots scraping the bottom of the bucket for criticism of the very capable Republican VP candidate. How revealing!

Thank you Yes! We ALL Can. I only hope more people, will begin to see through the republican lies and deception.

I also think the media should get off their butts and start doing their job as they used to do.

What, Palin could conceivably have to take over the presidency on November 5th and they cannot ask her questions?.

    That is insane!

Comment: This is just another leftist, elite media attack on a politician and political point of view you disagree with. It the least it's attempts to mislead as the facts presented in the article contradict the title of the article. It's amusing to read the comments of the syncopathic haters who spew their vile nonsense regardless of the truth. The American people are on to this publication and it's whack job supporters, and John McCain and Sarah Palin are going to win.

Comment: re: usrght post. Well that was a whole lot of nothing. Not unlike Palin's speech. Don't you have anything actually worth saying? Like a POINT of some kind based on a FACT somewhere?

Comment: Sarah Palin is just being used by the GOP to rally the conservative base and provdie a distraction from the real issues. She is not representative of manistream American women. Her views are not moderate. She does not believe in teaching sexual abstinence. I am a Catholic and I am disgusted as to how this VP is being used to attack Obama/Biden. She is far from being a reformer too.

You claim that Sarah Palin "is not representative of manistream American women."
There is a difference between being representative of and appealing to any sociological or political segment of society. A true leader can convince and transform society, instead of merely representing it.

You state that "She does not believe in teaching sexual abstinence."
What factual proof do you have in that regard?

You claim to be a Catholic.
Do you support the Catholic Church's position that abortion is immoral?

You assert that Sarah Palin "is far from being a reformer too."
What facts do you have to support that?

I admit - maybe I'm expecting too much from you here, with respect to you actually having any facts to support your expressed opinions.

Most obamabots are confused by facts, and generally tend to dismiss them as being unimportant or irrelevant.

      Awaiting your reply!
