She is a bizarre combination of TAKE CHARGE, push the man out of the way and let me govern (EXTREME FEMINIST) and then DON'T LET GOVERNMENT help women with funding for sex ed, WIC, etc, and BANISH ABORTION! I don't know what to clasify her as execept a Hitler in High Heels.

Despite all of this, and her lack of experiance she would probably make a much better president then McCain., Because like Obama she hasnt been corrupted by washington yet.

Let's for a moment say that Obama had 5 children, ranging in age from newborn to 17, and the newborn had Down's Syndrome, and the 17-year old was pregnant and unwed. How many vulgar jokes would be flying all over the internet? How many "serious" news organizations would be decrying his ambition to be president when his family obviously needed him more than the job would allow? How many in the conservative media would "place the blame squarely on the parents" for the teenage pregnancy and call them "pinheads?" (Are you listening Bill O'Reilly, or does the 'Pinhead' label only apply to Jamie Lynn Spears' parents?) The "liberal media" better get over being cowed by the GOP's two-faced shouts of sexism (see just about ALL of their comments concerning Hillary) and start vetting this "angry right" VP candidate. She is EXACTLY the kind of pork belly politician that McCain vowed to expose. I guess he just decided to expose her BEFORE her special interest earmarks passed over his presidential desk.

I have only one question, would Sarah Palin be selected as McCain's running mate if she was a man with the same qualifications and family troubles

I am seriously disturbed by the over-the-top rate of STDs, domestic violence and sexual assaults in Alaska. THIS needs to be addressed. This woman can hardly be called a "Feminist for Life." She is neither a feminist nor does she have any regard for quality of life.

The bigger story here is her lack of support for women who choose to keep the child... Voiding funds to support young mothers is not how you try to coax women to forgo having an abortion. Voiding funds that provide an education and childcare support so that they can take care of their young families and not be on Welfare is not the way. Is that what Jesus would do?

A REAL LOOK AT THE FACTS:

Fact: She did INCREASE funding for unwed mothers, by over 300 PERCENT!!!

Fact: The Cook Inlet project was tied in with an environmental issue where Chevron Oil had pacted with the previous incumbent Frank Markwoski who took away the right of those residents to be involved in those choices and turned it over to the legislature. Sarah is trying to reverse this decision, but the legislatures are still refusing to hold session. By the way, there is a huge environmental issue that Sarah is actively trying to resolve. The Cook Inlet Keeper, has publicly thanked her for being willing to fight for reversal of the decisions made by previous corrupt politicians.

Fact: In reference to the issues about Violence Against Females, you may have noticed that she is under investigation for firing her Public Safety Commissioner. Yep, that's the big story everyone is talking about where he is trying to say that he was fired because he didn't fire her brother-in-law! Her stance is that the disagreed on what she thought to be crucial issues. (There is a story here, Katie Paul, for any reporter with a healthy nose for a good story and a sharp intellect for fact checking.)

Fact: Sarah Palin is one of The Most Concerned politicians that we may ever know. Compare the record of what she HAS done to any other Governor in thier first 18 months!!!

Fact: You ask, "Could Palin have done more?" - She isn't finished yet!

Fact: The true story is that Sarah Palin has more of her priorities straight than most of us will ever know. Many will agree with her, and many will disagree - but everyone will benefit from her courage, her strength and her integrity that is right now withstanding more scrutiny than anyone I have ever seen be scrutinized. - She'll Pass! She'll make women proud! You don't have to agree with someone to recognize their greatness.

Katie Paul, just because you (or your boss or both) disagree with Sarah Palin is no excuse for sloppy reporting! You know, those of us that are in awe of this woman making history whether we agree with her are not are saving articles and pictures and stories, etc. Do your best work! It might be around for longer than you realize! Personally, I think you are probably better than this article, Katie Paul! - Show us your best stuff!
