    To the Editor:

    It makes my teeth itch to see an article by Carl Rove, ???Newsweek contributor,??? in my favorite news magazine (???Palin, McCain and the Weeks Ahead,??? 10/12/2008).
    As ???Bush???s brain,??? Rove was the architect of a new era of divisive, dirty politics. His win-at-any-cost tactics have added a new term to our lexicon. Rovian sounds very much like Machiavellian.

    Nuff said?

    What was Palin trying to get at in this picture? That she is able to kill something at any given moment? Obama was right and Im sorry he had to spin it another direction so as to not offend the small town seed plowers. Americans do cling to their guns and their religion just like the middle east. God help us. The right wing sure wont.

      Gun totin mama that sings Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown, baddest man in the whole damn town all day long??

      Politics aside, who wants a VP with that image in the White House for the whole world to see??

    Re Palen I just saw a picture of Sarah Palen in a biplane stalking and then no doubt shooting a lone wolf in the Alanskan wilderness. God help our wildlife.

    I was and am appaled and discusted with the photographs of a gun toting Sarah Palin on the cover and even more so by the photo of her wrapped up in the American Flag in your latest issue,
    What arrogant self rightousness to show total disrespect for the standard of our nation by cloaking herself in the banner of our nation like it common cape. This is the person vying for the vice presidency of this nation? God help us.
