    Andhelenatnewsweek...HillaryCare was defeated because real Americans out number commnst wannabe's and men haters for Harridan Hillary. We rejected the Clinton's because they are immoral and communists, like a democRAT who is even worse running again on the "Hate America" platform.

    I cannot wait til John McCain introduces Sarah to the special interests in Washington! Sarah will be the real power for the next 16 years because liberals have mocked God for too long now.

    Not only will Sarah get the truth taught in Public Schools, but yes, she will overturn Roe v Wade and appoint Justices who will give 14th Amendment Protection to all humans from conception through birth and beyond.

    We Americans embrace Sarah BECAUSE of her views. Sorry, Mel in 66. We don't need any liberals looking for the Clinton Succession. America will give Sarah her mandate in November, and she will hold squeamish Republicans to the fire.

    It is an insult to those of us who believe strongly in God's Word to say we do not. Darwin has been proven wrong and secularism as a Religion will be defeated. Sorry for all you haters of God, but there happens to be a Book called the Bible and it happens to contain the Truth you arrogantly run away from. Sarah does not run away from the Christian Heritage and neither do Americans who are actual Americans. So spread your lies over on Move-On and the other Hate Blogs.

    We will welcome all converts as Christ is shown to us through this wonderful, magnetic, lady and woman and wife and mother. Unlike a man hating demohypocrat who cannot even keep her own husband sexually interested in her whom I will not name. !!!

    So here are the things we know about palin.

    She states she never supported the Bridge To Nowhere.- come to find out she did, before it flopped.
    She states she sold a plane on Ebay- come to find out, a broker had to end up selling, because it flopped on ebay.
    She states she fired her pesonal chef- come to find out, she just gave her pesrsonal chef a new title and still continues to cook for the family.

    so i all i want to say is, Palin keep them coming. you sure had made my last 2 weeks full of laughter.

    I cant wait to see how she spins the Iraq war is god's task, when her party been saying for the last 7years its the war on terror and before that its the war on finding WMD's lol. repubs free comedy at its best.

    Hey, man@palin16, you keep Hillary Clinton out. Palin can never measure up to Hillary Clinton who is more learned, more knowledgeable on every issue, be it political or domestic issue. Hillary Clinton has been a Senator for more than 6 years and like it or not, her health care reform was sound when Bill Clinton was President. It was shot down by those who disliked "women meddling into the country's affair"!!!

    prettylady has it exactly right. What Miss Deveny and her mis-guided man-hating Hillaryites have so wrong is that you don't take advice from your children. Miss Deveny is foolish, but her insticts are correct with (soon-to-be) President Palin (20016!!!!). Palin is a strong role model for her daughter and Miss Deveny should point out that you don't have to be an ugly duckling married to a skirt chaser like Hillary. You can be a strong LADY, pretty AND accomplished and have a husband who is manly and true.

    Miss Deveny should tell her daughter that girls who admire Hillary-types are the ones home crying on Prom night wearing their "Girls Rule!" sweat suits. Powerful ladies, real attractive and lovely women, have always bbeen at home in the Conservative movement which is, despite the Homosexual anti-God Lobby democrat party where real AMericans live and vote.

    Now we need a 65 Republican Senate so the democrat crybabies don't hassle MCCain/Palin while they straighten out the mess dempcrats make.

    I like Sarah Palin too. I like her political views and the fact that she is strong. Why is it that the only women allowed to be strong are on the far left? Why is it that for women to be considered strong they must look like men? I believe that to agree with "the boys club" when they are wrong does not show strength... It shows that you can be bought. I like Sarah Palin because she agrees with the conservatives, but she is not mousy...

    This sounds just odd. I can imagine anyone wanting to sit down and have a beer with anyone with such extreme views. On the other hand, I think I could have a nice exchange of opinions and ideas with Obama. And, by the way, I am a 62 year old white woman from the Deep South.

    How very sad this article is. It makes women sound as if they don't have a brain in their head. We are not stupid. If I see a picture of a woman it does not make me like her or dislike her. I have news for this author, as an independent voter, and a woman, issues, corruption, experience and honesty do matter. You can like to sit down with a drink with however you want but this election is critical to our country. This woman may very well have to take over as President of the USA and I for one want to make sure she is fully honest and qualified to do so. From what I have seen and heard so far she falls very very short of that mark. What counts for us is to see this country out of the horrible mess we are in right now.

    Are you kidding me? The Republicans have been in control for the last 8 years. During that time they have bent over backwards to help big business at the expense of the common good. No bid contracts ring a bell? How about private energy summits with the V.P.? How about voting against increasing the minimum wage? How about giving Enron a huge tax break?
    There is absolutely no way for Republicans to hide from their responsibility for the crisis on Wall Street. Economists will tell you that deregulation (the Republican mantra) caused the housing bubble. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act authorized the type of reckless conduct that McCain now decries. That Act was written by Phil Gramm--McCain's chief economic advisor (right before he retired and joined one of the banks that benefited from the legislation.) The Act passed along near party lines. McCain voted for it. Biden voted against it. In March, Obama gave a speech saying that the deregulation set out in that bill was going to be a problem. McCain still thinks the economy is fine. McCain doesn???t see a problem with housing because none of his homeS are in foreclosure.
    Are you trying to tell me that an administration that figured out a way to twist the law to permit wiretapping and torture couldn???t figure out a way to reel in the corporate executes that fund their campaigns. Pleeeezzzzee. I may not be a genius but I can smell dog sh+t when I have stepped in it.

You challenged me and I came through. Now I am asking you (for the THIRD time) to provide me with a resume that reflects OBAMAs CEO executive leadership experience compared to Palins experience and accomplishments as Mayor and Governor over the years and McCains executive leader background when he served as Commanding Officer of the largest US Navy Air Squadron in the country at the height of his military career. And pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee, do not change the subject . . .pls. rise to the occasion and finally answer thisquestion.

      Sharenews- First- I could care less about these resumes..McCain has had 8 years to help this country and he didn't..he instead chose to support the presidentt 95% of the time. Pia, you could care less about Obamas resume as executive leader or commander of any significant embodiment like a city, a state (regardless of size) - (Gov Palin) or a naval air squadron comprised of 1000 personnel and 75 attack jets that was the largest in the US (McCain) because he has nothing to back up a background emulating CEO in any capacity. Okay, I wont ask you anymore cuz 'you do not care about Obamas resume' - which equates to all of us 'that is because he does not have one to compare to Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain.         PS- Sharenews- you keep posting that you challenge me to reply as to what CEO experience Obama has because you now claim that McCain has CEO experince because he ran a squadron in the navy. This of course is the new BS you are now trying to sell here as to why Obama should not be elected. I know many old men who were commanders in the navym army , marines... I suppose they are presidential materail too. I did reply to your challenge/question even though it is BS and you know it. Here now is my challenge to you- tell me exactly why it is that you are so afraid of Obama becoming president. Especially since you were such a big Hillary Clinton supporter and H and O share the same views and issues. You never answer this question and you never will. Myself and many here know you by now, and we know why.

    September 10, 2008. The central focus of the Republican's claim is that Gov Sarah Palin is a good mother - so she'd make a good president. Well, our sources learning that she may NOT BE a good mother. According to sources close to the family, her son Track is a drug addict and her daughter Bristol was a "regular" w/ the local guys.

    Here's what they say about Gov Palin's son:

    Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it ... " Ive partied with him (Track) for years," a source disclosed. " Ive seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed."

    The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he'd use his local celebrity to manipulate other guys, to get them to steal things he wanted."

    "He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do," the source divulged. "You join the military."

    And here's what they say happened when Sarah learned of the pregnancy:

    "Bristol was a huge stoner and drinker. I've seen her smoke pot and get drunk and make out with so many guys. All the guys would brag that the just made out with Bristol."

    When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah's sister Heather 25 miles away!

    It's excusable to have one screwed up kid ... but when you have two ... GOTTA BLAME THE PARENTS!!!

      Since you bad mouth this family in writing, on a Newsweek blog, you must reveal the source so we can check it out. "They say" is not a reliable source to put on this blog.
      To be fair, what about the Obama's saga? Wasn't his mother a teenage mom? Didn't his father abandon them to go back to Africa? Didn't Obama admit that he used drugs? AND YOU WANT TO VOTE FOR HIM?
      The Palin kids do not run for President so you don't have to bash them, these poor kids just get caught in this vicious fight.
      I hope that you are blessed with perfect kids who are obedient and behave according to your rules and the way you bring them up. I assume you grew up doing all the right things. Let your conscience be your guide the next time you write things like this.

    Our banks are failing one by one. Unemployment is at its highest in years and expected to continue to increase. Health Care is non existent for many. Our military is stretched; all time high PTSD and suicides are haunting our military solders. When our US soldiers come home, they come to turned backs on the hurt, pain and anguish from the war. The number of youth who can afford to go to college is dwindling, and the list goes on and on. After all of this, the United States of America is falling to its knees and we have one shot and one shot only to stop the crumbling of our nation, and we are focused on is public persona instead of the issues to keep our nation from sinking from a recession to what could end up eventually as a depression. Has our nation become so shallow that we cannot look beyond the artificialness of persona of candidates and useless 'credentials such as moose hunter, 'bulldog with lipstick' and self labeled maverick to see the truth about what is important to our existence as a thriving nation? How did we become so artificial and shallow? Will enough people who are practical vote and put the country on the right path? If not, we are speeding fast towards a big wall and our fall is going to be hard, harsh and painful. I had a friend of mine form Australia ask could America be so dumb to vote for a ticket with Sarah Palin as the 'next' commander in chief should McCain win and something happens to him? Unfortunately, the answer could be YES.
