America guarantees OPPORTUNITY not welfare checks!
Free health insurance is welfare. What percentage of college educated people DO NOT have health insurance? It's about 5.6%, not very high. THe percentage of non college educated people without health insurance is 40+%.
So why not BLAME the idiots who messed around in high school, smoked pot, etc, etc and not getting a degree. They can only blame themselves.
Welfare is welfare and higher taxes will lose jobs. It won't affect the rich as there is already $11 TRILLION of us citizen wealth offshore. Under Obama this will skyrocket to $50 TRILLION as why would anybody pay his rediculously HIGH and UNFAIR taxes.
The top 10% of income earners pay 2/3 of the tax. That's more than enough.
I say the Poor and Middle class should now STEP UP AND PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!

Someone stated that Obama was the guy who brings billions in earmarks from Washington. Before I can rebut that crappy argument, here is something I have to say:
1. McCain has not said which programs he considers to be "failed programs." He thus
makes the spending cuts sound less painful than they will be should he fulfill his
previously stated promise to balance the federal budget by 2013 while also making
all Bush tax cuts permanent and adding new cuts of his own. McCain repeated his promise
to eliminate "earmarks" from federal spending bills, saying "the first big-spending
pork-barrel earmark bill that comes across my desk, I will veto it." That drew applause,
but the fact is that earmarks
amount to only $16.9 billion
in the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget. Meanwhile,
the deficit is expected to be more than $200 billion
in 2009. And McCain's tax cuts will add billions more to future deficits unless
offset by spending cuts, which he so far has not been willing to identify.

Tax increases HURT everybody. It's MONEY and when business owners are paying more taxes they will increase the prices on their goods/services that affect YOU.
When they pay $11,000 per employee for Obama's crazy health insurance welfare system it will mean firing some employees and a net LOSS in jobs. That affects YOU and your local economies!
When money FLOWS offshore and to overseas jobs that hurts YOU.
Obama on economics is WRONG.
On the war and ending it soon and reducing the $10-$12 billion/month I can't say he's wrong but I do believe the war is winding down and its essentially a NON ISSUE!

of pork-barrel spending in a recent ad: a "bridge to nowhere," a study of the DNA
of bears and a Woodstock museum.
McCain is known for fighting against earmarks, the other term lawmakers use for funding
of pet projects back home. But he appears to have chosen these three because they're
easy to mock, not because he had significant involvement in removing them from the
budget.
He never specifically went after the "bridge to nowhere," and he was absent for key
votes on its funding.
While he tried to cut money for several other projects in the same bill, he never
proposed cutting the bear study and voted for the final bill containing it.
He wasn't present for the most important votes on the Woodstock museum, including

Tom Coburn (R-OK), Obama successfully introduced two initiatives bearing his name. "Lugar-Obama" expands the Nunn-Lugar cooperative threat reduction concept to conventional weapons, including shoulder-fired missiles and anti-personnel mines. The Lugar-Obama initiative subsequently received $48 million in funding. The "Coburn-Obama Transparency Act" provides for the web site USAspending.gov, managed by the Office of Management and Budget. The site lists all organizations receiving Federal funds from 2007 onward and provides breakdowns by the agency allocating the funds, the dollar amount given, and the purpose of the grant or contract. In December 2006, President Bush signed into law the "Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act," marking the first federal legislation to be enacted with Obama as its primary sponsor.
As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In August 2005, he traveled to Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. The trip focused on strategies to control the world's supply of conventional weapons, biological weapons, and weapons of mass destruction as a first defense against potential terrorist attacks. Following meetings with U.S. military in Kuwait and Iraq in January 2006, Obama visited Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories. At a meeting with Palestinian students two weeks before Hamas won the legislative election, Obama warned that "the U.S. will never recognize winning Hamas candidates unless the group renounces its fundamental mission to eliminate Israel." He left for his third official trip in August 2006, traveling to South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Chad.
