    SEA Observer,
You cannot tell Sunnis and Shiites apart by theirlooks. They belong to the same religion, Islam; but they are 2 separate sects, and the only way to tell them apart is by their hstory and what they beleive, which looks canot tell. Sunnis are the majority Muslims of the world, and Shiites are a minority, but Sunnis are the minority of Iraq. So for a U.S. president to confuse the two sects when talking about Iran has serious implications. Iran is no friend to Sunni Arabs who first started the insurgency in Iraq, and bin Laden's organization is almost entirely a Sunni Muslim group.
Now, drown in the sea of your ignorance.

I picked this article up from www.realclearpolitics.com. I won't waste my time reading it because it is from Newsweek, and they are known for being 'In the Tank Media", and completely biased for Obama and against McCain/Palin.

The Apostle of Alaska is simply another politician attempting to capitolize on the naive minds and hearts of the american people.
" The McCain camp can't seem to get it's story straight on whether Sarah Palin supported the Bridge To Nowhere (she did), whether she killed it (not exactly), and what happened to the money (Alaska kept it).

I was not on this blog all day, SEA Observer. And I disapprove anyone calling Palin sexist names. However, there is a rumor that Palin herself called Hillary a bitch and Obama a Sambo. The rumor is referred to as Palin Sambo.
Whether it is true or not, I just don't think it is appropriate for voters to keep using sexist names. Other name calling may be okay if supporters of the other candidate use names. You can call Omaar a son of a bitch if he calls Palin a bitch, I guess.

hehehe... i was just about to tell Omaar to get off his iron horse and go milk his camel... but that is way out of bound now so I sincerely apologize to you, Iron Horse...

Myself, I'm glad to see people like Iron Horse dedicating his time here, putting up the good fight. Go IH!
Besides, without the Iron Horses of the world, who would you have to rail at?

"Sen. Hillary Clinton campaigned in Kissimmee today before heading off for a late afternoon event in Tampa. Clinton, talking to about 300 people Osceola County, rolled out a new line we suspect you're going to hear a lot in the coming weeks," the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Hillary Clinton: "To slightly amend my comments in Denver," she said, "No Way, No How, No McCain, No Palin."

Clinton said the nation should be proud that the Republicans have a woman on the ticket, but argued that returning Republicans to the White House "is like asking the iceberg to save the Titanic."

Barack Obama needs Clinton's supporters if he hopes to win the November election. She's promised to campaign for him despite their testy relationship during the Democratic primary. In Kissimmee, she began her comments with an appeal to her fans.

Hillary Clinton: "I am here with a very simple message," she said. "We must work as hard as we possibly can to elect Barack Obama the next President of the United States."

Talk about a bunch of out of touch beings inhabiting this planet one would think they stumbled upon the mother load of stupidity. Palin is not worth the effort to spit in her direction. Not to mention she is colder than a witches tit and as phony as any other Religious Fundamentalist. Republicans controlled by the Religious Fundamentalist base of their party is so sheepish and so unlike early Republicans. Don't you have any backbone left in your party? Are you that afraid to stand up and do what you are suppose to do to preserve your party's future? The founding fathers of your party would laugh at you as does the world and hang their heads in disgust. You are no better than the Muslim Fundamentalist who you hate so much that you deserve all of the bad things that you most defiantly know will be coming your way.

    Palin-tol-ogy or Paleontology

by: Jordan C. Fan, Prophet Of Environment
    .
Your cover story is "dead" wrong. Sarah Palin is very young and beautiful, and certainly no dinosaurs. The study and analysis of Palin should not be called Palin-tol-ogy or Paleontology, although I still think Hollywood, California and New York should endorse Palin. It is because the 'Friends" gang's Rachelle, Jennifer Aniston, Monica , Courtney Cox, Joey, and Phoebe will all vote for Palin because Ross or David Schwimmer was an Paleontologist. By the same token, New York and California should also elect Palin too. How can Obama win without New York and California?

  • Posted By: usr105 @ 09/08/2008 9:46:17 PM

All this vitriol against Palin must mean she is doing something right ... obviously there is a lot of fear with the new polls. Should have picked HRC ... more experience, more brains and a whole lot tougher.

Comment: Only in your wet liberal dreams will palin drop out. She has more guts than
Owimpy he would lay on his back to have his tummy scratched by china, Russia, Iran,
and Iraq etc. He has his head in the clouds of Yes we can. Obiden is going down.
    ========================
Are you under the influence of some drug, kittykat9? You feel an old man who repeatedly confuses Sunnis for Shiites and who said he doesn't know much about the economy is better than a man who believes, just as jesus would have, in diplomacy? You want a warrior who does not mind starting a nuclear war so that Western civilization disappears under his watch?
Palin was a governor of a SMALL state, kookie, not someone who was working in DC to have an experience of what it is to wrk on the national political stage. The only way Palin might be dealing with Russia and China is to demand that mroe churches be open in China n exchange for more economic agreements and threaten Russia God will hit it with a nuclear bomb...

    • Posted By: SEA Observer @ 09/08/2008 9:21:35 PM

Iron horse... I really sympathized with McCain, it's hard to tell a Sunni from a Shiite, do you know why? The're all look alike!!!! I still don't understand why you are not supporting the "bitch", but are supporting the "son of a bitch".... blow my mind, dude!

I am starting to form an opinion that all these liberal women who're trashing Palin are only doing it out of jealousy! Palin is only 44 and yet she accomplished so much, going so far.... comparing her to all the losers mouthing off against her on this board, who pretend to be intelligent, yet achieve nothing but posting vile stuff on the internet, what do you guys think?

    • Posted By: neos @ 09/08/2008 9:01:18 PM

Yes, I agree. The word 'losers' is pretty vile stuff.

Hey, MFA! It appears to me that McCain's choice of Palin is paying off big time. The culture war is back and to hell with the issues! We just might get Bush 3.

"Governor Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982," Rogers says, providing some voter registration documentation showing her to be a Republican. "As you know, if she changed her registration, there would have been some record of it. There isn???t."

The American Prospect gleefully speculates that this could be McCain's own "God Damn America" problem, and here's the video shoutout she did to the AIP convention, but let's just say she's no Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The big story of course remains the pregnancy of the Governor's teenaged daughter Bristol, but as Marc Ambinder posts on his Atlantic Monthly blog, the GOP has a plan and talking points to deal with that. The more ticklish questions of exactly who did the vetting of Palin and whether they are worth their political salt continues.

As the New York Times reports,

In Alaska, several state leaders and local officials said they knew of no efforts by the McCain campaign to find out more information about Ms. Palin before the announcement of her selection, Although campaigns are typically discreet when they make inquiries into potential running mates, officials in Alaska said Monday they thought it was peculiar that no one in the state had the slightest hint that Ms. Palin might be under consideration.

"They didn't speak to anyone in the Legislature, they didn't speak to anyone in the business community," said Lyda Green, the State Senate president, who lives in Wasilla, where Ms. Palin served as mayor.
The New Yorker has collected a few of Palin's thoughts, from just two weeks ago, when she was widely ruled out as a contender in the veepstakes. Perhaps refreshingly, she was open enough on the subject of Obama's change agenda:
???The theme of our campaign was ???new energy,??? ??? she said recently. ???It was no more status quo, no more politics as usual, it was all about change. So then to see that Obama???literally, part of his campaign uses those themes, even, new energy, change, all that, I think, O.K., well, we were a little bit ahead on that.??? She also noted, ???Something???s kind of changing here in Alaska, too, for being such a red state on the Presidential level. Obama???s doing just fine in polls up here, which is kind of wigging people out, because they???re saying, ???This hasn???t happened for decades that in polls the D??? ??????the Democratic candidate?????? ???is doing just fine.??? To me, that???s indicative, too. It???s the no-more-status-quo, it???s change.???

Nobody in Alaska seemed to take her seriously as a national prospect, and she had shrugged the whole thing off on television, telling CNBC???s Larry Kudlow that, before considering the job, she would want to know ???what is it, exactly, that the V.P. does every day.???

On McCain???s signature issue???the prosecution of the war in Iraq???she did not sound so gung-ho. Her son is a soldier, and she said, ???I???m a mom, and my son is going to get deployed in Sept

It is best to describe these liberal women who are trashing a conservative pig as women who love America's freedoms and who believe in the God-given right of each and every one of us to CHOOOOOOOOSE. They are not jealous of a moose butchering, extremist Christian pitbull who can only bark but has no clues about the happenings of the world.
These women are also rejecting their gender being used for political gain, SEA Observer. Further, as women, they have the right to voice their opposition to the sexualizing of politics. So, go f---k your Palin.

ABC news was the first to report on this latest angle of Republican presidential nominee's John McCain's vice-presidential running mate, and maybe because we Canadians have our own contentious history with separatists maybe it strikes home harder up here, but this latest charge is certainly a talker. From ABC's Jake Tapper:

An intense "she said"/"she said" has emerged over whether Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was ever a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, the third-largest political party in the 49th state. The AIP wants Alaskans to get an opportunity to vote on whether or not they will remain a state, or become a commonwealth, or split off as an independent nation.

Officials of the Alaskan Independence Party say that Palin was once so independent, she was once a member of their party, which, since the 1970s, has been pushing for a legal vote for Alaskans to decide whether or not residents of the 49th state can secede from the United States.

And while McCain's motto -- as seen in a new TV ad -- is "Country First," the AIP's motto is the exact opposite -- "Alaska First -- Alaska Always."

After refraining from commenting on the charge for a day, the McCain campaign on Tuesday asserted that Palin was never a member of the AIP.

But Lynette Clark, the chairman of the AIP, tells ABC News that Palin and her husband Todd were members in 1994, even attending the 1994 statewide convention in Wasilla. Clark was AIP secretary at the time.

"We are a state's rights party," says Clark, a self-employed goldminer. The AIP has "a plank that challenges the legality of the Alaskan statehood vote as illegal and in violation of United Nations charter and international law."

A day after ABC News requested a response from Palin as to whether she was ever a member of the AIP, McCain campain spox Brian Rogers told ABC News that Clark's "allegations are false."

The AIP wants Alaskans to get an opportunity to vote on whether or not they will remain a state, or become a commonwealth, or split off as an independent nation.

Officials of the AIP said Gov. Palin was once a member, but the McCain campaign -- providing what it says is complete voter registration documentation -- says Palin has been according to official records a lifelong Republican.

A day after making its assertions, on Tuesday evening, AIP chair Lynette Clark acknowledged she was mistaken and that Gov. Palin was never a member.

(Which to be honest seems more in keeping with the ambitious pol. Republicans have a much better track record than the AIP.)

Gail Fenumiai, director of the Alaska Division of Elections, tells ABC News that "Gov. Sarah Palin first registered to vote in the state in May 1982 as a Republican, and she has not changed her party affiliate with the Division of Elections since that time."

But Fenumiai adds that Palin's husband Todd was a member of the AIP from October 1995 through July 2002, except for a few months in 2000. He is currently undeclared.

As part of their pushback against the charges of Lynette and Dexter Clark of the AIP, the McCain campaign says that Palin did not even attend the AIP convention in Wasilla in 1994.

I am a Christian and this woman DOES NOT speak for me! She is an insult to my belief in Christ. Yes, You are absolutely right that this kind of thinking takes us back to the dark ages. I have often said it reminds me of the crusades and slavery. God did not appoint police officers of the world. He sent witnesses of His love, kindness and holiness. Sarah is conducting herself as a Carnal christian, not a true believer. Pray for our country to not go to these extremists.

THE SPIN: Called "Original Mavericks," the ad asserts the Republican senator has fought pork-barrel spending, the drug industry and fellow Republicans, reforming Washington in the process, and credits Palin with similarly changing Alaska by taking on the oil industry, challenging her own party and ditching the bridge project that became a national symbol of wasteful spending.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton came back with fighting words. "Despite being discredited over and over again by numerous news organizations, the McCain campaign continues to repeat the lie that Sarah Palin stopped the Bridge to Nowhere," he said.

Burton said McCain would merely carry on supporting President Bush's economic, health, education, energy and foreign policies, and that means "anything but change."

THE FACTS: Palin did abandon plans to build the nearly $400 million bridge from Ketchikan to an island with 50 residents and an airport. But she made her decision after the project had become an embarrassment to the state, after federal dollars for the project were pulled back and diverted to other uses in Alaska, and after she had appeared to support the bridge during her campaign for governor.

McCain and Palin together have told a broader story about the bridge that is misleading. She is portrayed as a crusader for the thrifty use of tax dollars who turned down an offer from Washington to build an expensive bridge of little value to the state.

"I told the Congress 'thanks but no thanks' for that Bridge to Nowhere," she said in her convention speech last week.

    1. ALL THAT ARAB MONEY THAT BILL & HILLARY HAVE AMASSED AND WOULD HAVE BEEN USED AGAINST HER AND CAUSE OBAMA TO LOSE THE ELECTION.

    2. THE OFFSHORE CAYMAN ACCOUNTS AND THE MILLIONS AMASSED VIA THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (DUBAI PARTNERSHIP) AND THE 10 MILLION PER YEAR FROM SAUDIA ARABIA, TO BILL CLINTON'S LIBRARY.

THOUGH IN FACT THE BUSH FAMILY ALSO GETS MILLIONS FROM BOTH THOSE ARAB COUNTRIES AND MORE.COUNTRIES.

I know all the headmasters of the private schools on the East Coast and I can tell you that not a single one of them is willing to admit her kids. They would be so out of place. That would be like sending Huckle Berry Finn to Fieldston in Riverdale. Can you imagine that?
