Hey McCain supporters - don't pay attention to Omaar, it is a paid staffer from the Obama camp!
Hey McCain supporters - don't pay attention to Omaar, it is a paid staffer from the Obama camp!
You can REALLY tell an Obama supporter. Poor, uneducated, bad grammar and in real life walks around with their HANDS OUT. Gimme, gimme, gimme!
Republicans on the other hand are WORKING for their money and success. Work, interesting concept eh Democrats? GET A JOB LOSERS!
SEA, my apologies for a post I made to you yesterday. I had you tangled up with someone else and hit the wrong reply button.
Once again, my mistake.
If that is true....he is sure wasting his $$$.

http://explorations.chasrmartin.com/2008/09/06/palin-rumors
Today (9/08/08) on cable news they were reporting on a new site you can visit to find out the truth (or not) about the SARAH PALIN RUMORS hitting all of the blogs. The man that created it and is maintaining it (Charlie Martin) was interviewed.
So if you want to see if a rumor is TRUE OR NOT or if you want to send a new rumor you are seeing to the site, don???t hesitate to contribute.
The Truth about the Sarah Palin rumors: As of my posting of the link the site has captured 71 rumors about Palin . . . So far. Some of them are absolutely outrageous. LOL:
Feel free to pass this link onto others:

Sampling of answers to Palin rumors:
* Yes, she is Governor of Alaska. No, she is not the Lieutenant Governor. No, she is not currently Mayor of Wasilla. Yes, she was Mayor of Wasilla, some years ago.
* Yes, as Governor of Alaska, she is the Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard. And yes, her professional military subordinate is quite impressed with her in that role.
* And yes, the New York Times says the job of Governor of Alaska is one of the harder, and more powerful, jobs in state government.
* Yes, there are people in Alaska who think she is too liberal.
* Yes, she did giggle when someone called Lyda Green a bitch. Yes, Lyda Green is a cancer survivor. Yes, it was the same Lyda Green who tried to force a scheduling conflict that would make Palin miss her son???s high school graduation. Yes, this would also be the Lyda Green who complained no one had asked her about Palin during the vetting process.

Lyda Green IS A BITCH and I think anybody who knows her would laugh if they heard somebody call her a bitch! Surviving cancer doesn't give you the RIGHT to make other people's lives a LIVING HELL like she did to poor Sarah.
Sarah Palin is nothing more then window dressing for the Republican party. The only change John McCain and Sarah Palin will bring to this country will be selection of Supreme Court Justices who will further denegrate our civil liberties in the name of ignorant right- wing religous zealots. This woman is laughable in her extreme beliefs on creation science which could only be held as credible in the South. For her to be Vice President in this country she will be relugated only to attend foreign leaders funerals and Easter egg hunts on the White House lawn. I have always voted Republican but, not this year considering what these two extremist bring to the table.
I believe nobody has the right to govern/policy a woman's uterus or other internal parts. Nobody has the right to self-righteously impose their beliefs on a woman's reproductive system. If our government tries to do this, either it is a theocracy that social conservatives would welcome with open arms like the Iranians, or it may be violating the Founding principles of our nation. Personally, I oppose abortion, but I don't see why I should try to impose my values and make value judgments on anything that I feel is against my Bible and my Christian God.
If a pregnant woman is maliciously injured...and loses her "fetus", should the guilty party, be charged with murder/manslaughter?
Is it a crime to let a newborn starve? If so...what should the charge be?
At what point in a pregnancy, does the "fetus" gain human rights?
Should a pregnant woman who smokes crack rock or ice...face charges...for harming the "fetus"?
Should a father have any rights in pregnancy decisions? What about financial responsibility, if he doesn't want the "fetus" to be born?
Should "born alive" botched aborted babies recieve medical attention?
NOBAMA!!!
Lisaoo, I forgot to add... And McCain chose mostly ex-Bush aides to work for him and Palin, yet he is running on a "stolen" platform of change. Hypocrite.
You sounds so knowledgeable about the McCain side, would you like to share with us who's on the Obama side? I would advise you to answer this question directy, if not, you are most likely Obama's staff logging on unanimously to make it appears as though Obama has a lot of supporters!!!
"you sounds so knowledgeable about the McCain side?" lol... learn how to speak english... and WTF are you talking about? I'm an Obama staff member? LOL
so you are good about one misplace "s", what's the answer to my question?
SEA Observer... I just realized I had you mixed up with Iron horse... I apologize - the comments were not intended for you.
Learn English before you post here, OK?
Now there's a revelation! I was just certain he would have chosen Obama or Clinton aides to work for him!
Wow. What a genius.
I can't believe this is happening. Barack Obama would help get this country back on its feet again. This campaign of McCain/Palin would only muddle the next four years. More war, more resession, nothing for the common person. The example, taxing health insureance will break the banks of all working americans who have it. Also pork barrel spending, doesn't anyone realize this is the moneys that small towns and cities get for needed inferstructure, roads, bridges, hospitals.
What is government for, only funding wars and other countries needs, while we crumble.
You should study politics more closely.
Democrats are for bigger government, and incorporating more tax funded programs.
Republicans are for smaller government, and less programs.
In essence, the party most likely to induce pork barrel spending is Democrats--not Republicans
Then why does the economy always do better under Democratic administrations. We cannot afford another four years of Republican borrow and spend economics
Help this country get back on its feet? How would that happen by raising taxes? By forcing individuals into paying rising healthcare premiums? By making government even bigger so that they can waste even more of our money. I'm sorry but you couldn't be further from the truth. The current economic climate isn't due to Bush... its due to irresponisibility by consumers whose eyes were bigger than their stomachs and by companies who are seeking to maximize their profits at any cost... even that of human life.
Cindy Mccain: On Abortion & Roe V. Wade
If you are a Pro-Lifer...You are Pro-Life 100%...No Exceptions to the Rule !!!
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/03/eveningnews/main4413606.shtml
Cindy McCain Lies when she says that Sarah Palin was Thoroughly Vetted ...
Thats Borderline Bull-Spit !!
Keep in mind that it will Not be Mrs. Mccain that will have the Power to Overturn Roe Vs. Wade...Crazy A!! McCain will have that Dubius Dis-Honor.
Couric goes on record as saying to Cindy McCain, "Your husband believes Roe V. Wade should be Overturned"
Couric: Some, even Republicans, seemed surprised that Sen. McCain picked a running mate who opposes abortion even in the cases of rape and incest, and believes creationism should be taught in schools. And I'm just curious, do you agree with that?
McCain: What I agree with is the fact that she is a social conservative. She is a reform-minded woman. She is someone that will ??? shake Washington up, which is exactly what we want to do. We differ on many issues; we differ across the board with people. We don't have to agree on every issue.
Couric: Where do you stand on abortion?
McCain: I'm pro-life. I'm on the record as being pro-life, like my husband.
Couric: So do you oppose it even in cases of rape and incest?
McCain: No.
Couric: So that's where you two differ in terms of your position on that.
McCain: Uh-huh
Couric: And do you believe Roe V. Wade should be overturned?
McCain: No. no.
Couric: No. Why not? Your husband does.
McCain: No. I don't think he does.
Couric: He believes it should be overturned. That's what he told me, and that it should go to the states.
McCain: Well, in that respect. Yes, yeah, I do. I understand what you're saying now. It's a states issue.
Couric: So, you believe it should be overturned or shouldn't be overturned.
McCain: I believe it's a states issue. That I do believe.
Couric: How do you feel about creationism? Do you think it should be taught in schools?
McCain: I think both sides should be taught in schools. I think the more children have a frame of reference and an opportunity to read and know and make better decisions and judgments when they are adults. So, I think you know I don't have any problem with education of any kind.
Obama Blocked Born Alive Infant Protection Act

Even all of the pro-abortion orgs did not object to this humane bill which finally did pass in Illinois once Obama left office.
Here is another (MUST READ) related article by Jill Stanek:

So what you are telling us Omaar is that you are pro baby killing?
Too bad Hilary wasn't good enough for the Dems huh? Now Palin will be the first female elected into the white house. Look for Hilary to step her game up for Obama to assure she will be the first female elected into the white house. And then remember all the flaws and corruption the Obama followers spoke of her in the primaries. She has no credibility what so ever! Ask an Obama follower during the primaries.

This article only appalls me further with McCain's VP choice. I always thought well of McCain even when we sometimes differed in viewpoints; however, with this cynical choice for VP, I have lost respect for him and certainly will not be voting for him. McCain chose a woman who believes rape victims should be further victimized by a state that compels them to have a rapist's baby, a woman who told a secessionist group that they were "doing good work," a woman who believes creationism should be taught in schools and doesn't believe in science, a woman who somehow naively believes that abstinence-only education works, a woman who belonged to a church where they speak in tongues with guest pastors proclaiming beliefs in witchcraft, a woman who exploits her own children for press attention and then runs from the press herself, a woman who has said she hasn't thought much about Iraq and believes her foreign policy experience comes from being a state close to Russia? John McCain, surely you jest.
Wow, thanks sami for the new info.
(Continued from my post above - The truth about the Sarah Palin Rumors - new site)
* Yes, she did push for and approve the Wasilla Sports Center. Yes, it did cost a lot of money. (People keep saying $20 million, that article says $14.5 million, but then they also added a $1.2 million dollar food service/kitchen piece. This year, after Palin was out of office as Mayor.) Yes, the city went into debt to do it (how did you buy your house, bunkie?) and raised the city sales tax from 2 percent to 2.5 percent to pay for it. Yes, the city is paying it off early. Yes, there is an ongoing dispute about title (following a struggle with the Nature Conservancy and another buyer. And yes, at the time it was built, Wasilla had a Federal judge???s decision that they had title to the land.
* Yes, she did want authority to have wolves culled from the air, because they were taking too many moose and caribou. Which people hunt for food in the back country in Alaska. No, she is not shooting them herself. I mean, not that she couldnt, but I am sure she does not have time. (Thanks to bluemerlin in the comments.)
* No, the Downs baby (Trig) is not Bristols kid, and no, the kid was not born with Downs because (a) Palin flew on an airplane (b) went home to have the baby after an amniotic leak (c) because he was the result of incest between Todd Palin and Bristol.
* No, Track (the kid who is leaving for Iraq) did not join the NG because he was a drug addict. He may have joined the NG because he was tired of people saying his Mom was getting him into the good hockey leagues. (Yes, that one was original reporting. I have got sources in Wasilla.)
* No, Willow and Piper are not named for witches on TV. Among other things, Willow was born before Buffy came on TV, and Piper was born before Charmed.

Ok Sharenews, how old are you?
In 2006, the soon-to-be governor said she would fund abstinence-only education programs in schools. "The explicit sex-ed programs," she added, "will not find my support."
The stance, which reflected the priorities of the GOP, nevertheless led to an incredulous editorial in the Juneau Empire:
"Abstinence may be a laudable goal, but failing to educate teenagers about how to protect themselves from disease or unintended pregnancy is tragically misguided. According to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, abstinence-only programs do not reduce sexual activity, teen pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease. Every day 10,000 U.S. teens contract a sexually transmitted disease, 2,400 get pregnant and 55 contract HIV. Unintended pregnancies happen to Republicans, Democrats and people of all faiths."
Well, I think we have proof of that, don't you.
And while we're on this subject, here's the genius of McCain on the issue:
"Once, aboard the Straight Talk Express, McCain was asked if he supported the use of contraception or President Bush's abstinence-only education program to stem the spreading of AIDS.
"After a long pause, he said, 'I think I support the president's policy.'
"Does he believe that contraceptives help stop the spread of HIV?"
After another long pause, he replied, "You've stumped me."
Only in America!
Two questions. If you knew a man had HIV and was wearing a condom would you have sex with him?
Or do you believe the best way to not catch HIV from him would be to not have sex with him?
I'm not sure why the Americans might think that Palin is worth energizing over. I'm a little freaked out that my own views seem to be so different from what the polling suggests today.
Do Americans, generally, want a woman's right to choose determined by Washington? Don't the Republicans always say that Washington is already too much in our lives.
Do Americans want tax breaks for only the wealthy? McCains plan is aimed at more trickle down theory while Obama's asks that those who have benfitted the most from this great country pay a little more while we fix our roads, bridges schools and so on.
Do Americans think that banning books is a good thing? Didn't we all have to read Lord of the Flies? It's a disturbing book, but I remember great conversations generated from this material that made us, as students, think.
Would American's be comfortable with a President who believes that our brave soldiers are "Messengers from God?" Isn't that what the radicals we're fighting in the Middle East tell their own people?
There are other annoying little items, such as the exaggerations about the Bridge to Nowhere (Palin supported it) and the Ebay Sale (plane actually sold thru a private broker at a loss). To be fair, the Dems are exaggerating too; Obama's tax plan would mean taxes would not increase for 81% of Americans, not the 95% he states. The 95% only applies if you have kids (dependents).
Can someone please tell me what Pailn TRULY offers without bringing up her gender or family?
Thanks.
Oh yeah--almost forgot.
MORE EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE THAN THE MAN YOU WANT FOR PRESIDENT< THAT"S WHAT
Pixel, for the record:
Obama is now saying he too would postpone recinding the tax cuts--just like he's flipped on every other position he's had--saying whatever if it might help him win. So now, we'll be keeping them either way.
And realize, Republicans just don't believe that if you have worked hard, and been successful in your endeavors (Uh, the American Dream) that you should be punished for that by having to pay more taxes so that yo can carry everyone else.
There is a name for that kind of idealism--it's called socialism.
Look it up--it's not a good thing.
"For better or worse, she'd bring those small-town values to Washington", sounds like some city dweller has a touch of self superiority. 90% of media types say they voted for Kerry in 2004. The other 10% are liars.
Talk about hypcrical low life--lol
Love Dems always trying to tell Christians they can't be true Christians, while belonging to a party that does support abortion.
Listen, I doubt seriously that Jesus would have been an advocate of killing unborn children. In fact, what of Mary had decided she was going to have an abortion because she was pregnant, and she didn't want it to complicate her life. Wouldn't that have been something.
The biggest problem with this subject is the lack of personal responsibilty. If you are having sex, there is a risk you might get pregnant. After all, as much fun as it is--that's really what it was designed for. Just because we found the science to "cure" it like a disease doesn't make it right.
Yeah, its a woman's right to decide--when men have no desicion at all--because that is what they tell them--if you didn't want to be a daddy--shouldn't have been dipping your wick. What a double standard.
Funny thing is--for being a woman's right to choose--most sure don't have a problem making the man financially responsible for that choice should SHE CHOOSE to have it--whether he wanted to be a parent or not.
You pro-choicers want it both ways, and that is the very definition of hypocrosy.
So please, save us the Jesus speech--for I am sure he would never been a member of a party that kills uborn children, just for their convenience
Quite well said....I love the way they put it...a womans "RIGHT" to choose....the unborn are the most defensless among us....yet are considered valueless...by the same people who protest, the Death Penalty.
Liberals are overflowing with contradictions.
NOBAMA!!!
NOBAMA!!!
The Republican nominee for vice-president has some very appealing qualities. She is significantly more attractive than current V.P Dick Cheney, and she is Much younger than John McCain. However, her many similarities to G.W. Bush are disturbing.
Sarah Palin is Bush???s soulmate, not McCain???s. Both Bush and Palin are known not only for their mutual enjoyment of huntin??? and fishin???, but they also have similar inclinations toward stubbornness, evangelical righteousness, disregard for ecological science, disinterest in exposure to other cultures through travel, and dangerously simplistic black or white worldviews. These traits leave little room for reasonableness, insight or cooperation. They both display a disconnect between their jargon and truth that undermines both communication and integrity.
I can???t help wondering what ???their??? Lord and Savior, Jesus, thinks of their mean-spirited and divisive sarcasm, and how St. Peter will measure their fear-mongering and relentless hypocrisy???Is it wrong to want to hold self-proclaiming Christians to Christian standards????
The only difference I can see between Grandma Palin and a President whose policies have assaulted our constitution, ravaged our environment, ransacked our treasury, ruined our economy, expanded the gap between rich ???folks??? and poor, shamed our international reputation, and disrupted more lives, and destroyed more life than 19 Arab evil-doers is lipstick. And so, we could be in danger of finding ourselves only a heart???s beat away from four more years???

The REAL reason so many Hillary supporters hate Palin?
She EARNED her way to her position and didn't just SLEEP WITH A MAN for her position.
If she wasn't Bill Clinton's wife NOBODY WOULD EVEN KNOW WHO Hillary was!
Feminists should REJECT Hillary's sleeping her way to the top and instead embrace Palin who actually WORKED for her position.
Just in McCain-Palin ticket has it's first lead of the election. Boasting a 4 pt lead over Obama-Biden. Hope you Dems are ready for CHANGE. It;c coming fast! Did you really think you could win an election with an empty suit running around saying we're not Republican?
HolyRoller and jnaqvi - George Bush did not have any experience! That's why we are in this situation we are now with our economic and foreign affairs! Sarah Palin was chosen (sorry to say this) for her looks - for her newness (instant celebrity) and for her EXTREME views to energize the republican base who was not excited about McCain! McCain's base is still not excited, and the excitement will continue to decrease once Sarah Palin choose to become less cowardly and begin putting her positions on record by sitting down to do interviews like the other three candidates. She's supposed to be this tough politician who can deliver one line zinggers written by someone else - but what can she say with no script and teleprompter in front of her. As the moderate republicans begin to realize where this woman stands on her extreme views - she will drag this ticket down by losing the support of the moderates, independents and definately women! She has done nothing to make inroads with women. We vote on policy - not gender. She is anti-HIllary Clinton! I hope she does not align herself with the 18 million cracks in the ceiling becuase this does nothing but make us run for her. Palin stands for nothing that Hillary does. By the way - I wonder how the cliff notes for dummies session is going with Palin while Lieberman and Bush advisors are teaching her about foregin policy!!
Now Sarah Palin wants to pretend that she is change! HA!!! She has been a part of the same GOP party that has been in power for the last eight years - and not her or McCain has ever wanted to "CHANGE" anything!!! GOP will be fired after 8 years of horrible and unresponsible leadership. Any one else want to follow Obama's vision for change and try to steal his campaign theme? That's exactly what McCain is doing? And they say Obama does not have the vision, the leadership, the experience to run this country. He already is!!!!!
Good reply. I'm w/you and my question was more geared towards those retards (Holy Roller) who are cowardly enough to sit behind a computer and mock people's religions and beliefs but doesn't have the guts to say it to someones face. Obama/Biden 08'
It is obvious by McCain's choice in Palin he is not for change as she is a right wing conservative who if anything will continue the same failed policy's as Bush has so again nothing will change, unless you call change letting the extreme right wing take over this country.
Well I'm glad you've been watching the Obama commercials. You do realize that Bush isn't running for reelection right? McCain is alot different than Bush... but it is amusing to watch the Democrats run another campaign with the slogan... "We're not Republicans." Perhaps if they spent more time devising ways to make this country better they would be able to come up with something that people believed in.
