TO THE MEDIA: PLEASE INTERVIEW SARAH PALIN AND FIND OUT WHO SHE IS. We, the American Public have a right to know where she stands on public policy and how she voted!! These stories are not coming out of nowhere!!

Gov. Sarah Palin's church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

"You'll be encouraged by the power of God's love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality," according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed for about six years.

Palin's conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain's candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

Focus on the Family, a national Christian fundamentalist organization, is conducting the "Love Won Out" Conference in Anchorage, about 30 miles from Wasilla.

Palin, campaigning with McCain in the Midwest on Friday, has not publicly expressed a view on the so-called "pray away the gay" movement. Larry Kroon, senior pastor at Palin's church, was not available to discuss the matter Friday, said a church worker who declined to give her name.

This may be the week McCain/Palin pull ahead in the polls...and once Obama is passed he will never get the lead back! His campaign as Rock Star has not been one of substance or stature. McCain and Palin know how to talk to Americans while Biden, like Obama, lecture! Thenhave to run or flip flop because some of what they say is rediculouse. (inflate tires to energy stability?).

I can't believe this story about Palin's ties to the AIP is not getting more traction. SarahPalinExposed reported on this September 1 and 3. When Gibson interviews Palin this coming week, he better ask her all the tough questions.Add to that the speech she gave at her church before the Wasilla Master's Commission. So Alaska pipelines and the war in Iraq are all God's plan? This stuff is on video! You can't make i up!

What are liberals afraid of, that Sarah because she has certain beliefs she going to hog tie them or moose tie them and then skin them. I dont think so, she will treat everyone equally she is out there to improve things for everyone; she did it as governor in Alaska. I have a friend whose mother and brother live in Alaska life time residents. They are democrats and he asked his mom what do you think of Sarah, and his mom said she is the best governor Alaska has a had ever. John McCain is a moderate; I mean Joe Lieberman backs him up. McCain has the guts to vote and cross party lines, Obama he is just present, and we have to have someone in the president???s office who can be commander and chief not just present like he is at a luncheon.

Speaking of experience ...

Before becoming President, James Buchanan had served 6 years in the Pennsylvania state legislature, 10 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, 4 years as ambassador to Russia, 10 years in the Senate, 4 years as Secretary of State, and 4 years as Ambassador to England. Buchanan did just about everything except serve on the Supreme Court, a job he was offered by President Polk and refused. Yet by any measure, he wasn't up to the job as President. He may have been one of the worst Presidents ever - up there with Fillmore, Harding and G. W. Bush.

In contrast, Abraham Lincoln served 8 years in the Illinois legislature and one term in the U.S. House (1847-1849), a decade before becoming President. The rest of the time he was a lawyer in private practice, a bit thin one might say. And yet he seemed up to the task.

People don't always get the best President when they vote on the resumé.

represented a town with a population of close to 6,000 (now around 9,000) and now
a state of about 670,000 and who holds beliefs at odd with the large, diverse, and
complex United States of America? Does it make her more qualified on the basis of
being mayor of a much smaller area than Chicago and governor of a state even smaller than the state of
Ill.? Does America's values in the 21st century better represented by a small-town
social cosnervative who has little understanding of the complex workings of the international
system? Will Obama's urban experiences be better suited to help address America's
security, energy, health care, and diplomatic challenges than a Palin who brings
small-town principles and who is driven more by emotions?

I DOUBT I'LL GET ANY RESPONSES TO THIS!

Would any of you proud Republicans please share with us Democrats just what policies of the last 8 years you are proud of and would want to see continued for another 4 years?

My only problem with your coverage of Governor Palin is that she is not running for President (yet). She has been chosen as VP. You are taking the focus off the issues, instead of putting the focus on the real issues, as articulated by the Presidential candidates themselves. The reason Americans are so intrigued by Palin and thinks her selection is so great in because most American???s, working two or three jobs, worried about their failing health with no health insurance, and having to deal with a war that is draining the federal treasury have no clue what McCain or Obama are really saying. The Republicans are hoping that all of this "soap opera stuff" take the focus off the real issues. Loss of jobs, no health insurance, wars spinging up all around the globe, rising oil prices, rising bankruptcies, failing banks and only the Lord knows what is coming next! Based on what we know at this moment, the next President, will be Obama or McCain, not Biden or Palin. But if it comes down to VP's who we might have to live with as President, Biden wins hands down!

The Republicans don't want Mrs. Palin to talk because at this point, she has nothing to say, except to attack the opposition on issues that, from what I've heard from her so far, she really does not know the issues. Remember, she referred to herself as "a pit bull with lip stick". Pit bull attack without giving it much thought and I hope that she gives her own statement some serious thought, before all of this "attacking other Americans" gets us all into deeper trouble! She seems to be too much of a talker and not a thinker. Leadership needs to be exceptional at both!

The media is not being negative about Sarah. It's unfortanate that the stories coming out about her are - due to the image McCain and his campaign want you to belive. Image is one thing - and as we are finding out - truth and reality is another! Palin did vote and ask for money for the BIG OIL bridge to nowhere. She also asked for and retained 27 million dollars in earmark funding, Sarah Palin left the tiny town where she served as mayor in debt - partly due a hockey rink that battled legal woes for years after she was gone! Sarah Palin lied about selling the jet on Ebay. It was sold privately to a wealthy BIG OIL business man and then she had the "courtesy" of flying on that same plane - not once - but FIVE times!!! McCain presented Sarah as a mother of 5 as one of her qualifications to be VP. So of course when her 17 daughter comes up pregnant - and her stance on policy is abstinence and removing sex education from schools - Sarah Palin did not have good judgement on that decision!! Now it seems that while the continuous strories drip- drip- drip about Sarah - don't complain when the truth is coming out and not the image the Republicans wanted us to believe! Afterall - wasn't it Sarah Palin that told Hillary Clinton to stop whining about how the press is treating her?!! Sarah Palin is not experienced, she is a smokescreen and distraction for McCain campaign. I think right now Leiberman and Bush's advisors are teaching her about foregin policy! Shouldn't a VP already know or come prepared armed with informaiton about our nation?! National economics and foreign policy? She is a woman - she should be respected. But Sarah Palin is no HIllary Clinton, she is no Vice President. Even the state senators in Alaska say - Sarah is not ready to be VP of the free world!! No way, no how, No McCain-Palin. Fire Bush and the Republicans!! ENOUGH!!!!
