AFTER EIGHT YEARS OF REPUBLICAN GANGSTERISM I CANT BELIEVE HOW GULLIBLE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC IS. STOLEN ELECTIONS, LIES AND SMEAR TACTICS ARE PRIME TOOLS IN THE REPUBLICAN ARSENAL. THEY KNOW IT TOO, THE ABSCENCE OF BUSH AT THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION IS ADMITTANCE TO THAT. THE WAY THEY TRIED TO IMPEACH CLINTON, YET THEY NOW WANT A WOMAN WHO ADMITTEG HER ADULTRY AS PAY BACK TO HER HUSBAND. YET SHE LIVES BY GODS WILL. WHAT A CROCK OF CROCK

Only someone as liberal as Fineman would attack Gov. Palin for her living views on abortion. Please, have at it! The lastest polls have shown that the "liberal" on demand abortion stance is not the majority position in America. Additionally, the Bridge to Nowhere was not conceived on Gov. Palin's watch. When she got the details, she axed it. Really big "flip flop! NOT!

To get on the bus: On the flip side of your argument, then we should not be giving tax breaks and other federal assistance to the Oil companies and mis-managed banks. Yet, the Republican party loves to give government handouts to these companies.

CNN showed me Joe Biden telling : i am telling in front of your eyes that my son is lobist but never lobbyist but never lobbied me. is he really think viewer,s are fool enough to believe him ?
what,s difference Russia bring the nuclear missile to Cuba and say never try to use against USA. and how long his been handle foreign policy like this and praised by midia ?
    Debate Palin vs Biden ?
this is knock out gift for Palin.

due to raped or incest case, all the anti-abortion people are treated make no sense in debate, but that,s not correct. they are still heart broken and very care about . and your leader veto for healthcare or education, then everybody jump to attack on him. but do think leader,s has no brain not able to know that simple things ? there must be a some good reason.
that,s why you have to elect good leader and trust .
now which one do i trust ? that,s the only matter to me though it,s very hard tofind.
type Obama,s brother in GOOGLE then anybody will find out true fact that there is a man whose brother live less in Nairobi with less than a dollar a month. when he met him, his making decision was so poor, even though it was so easy to change his life and to give him a dream, but he did,nt do any.
that man is a MR. Obama. how can i trust all the talks of changes and dreams to the people ? he is very luckey so far, because GOP hav,nt exposed this gift to people yet.

The press shirked their responsibility to America and to the rest of the world.
Sarah Palin is running for the second highest office in the world. Except you all hve accepted that the McCain-Palin ticket is a failure, so why bother interview her? She is already out of bounds to press interviews and scrutiny just as McCain is for whatever reasons. The whole world is watching America, may be Americans are dumber than the rest of the world already know!

  • Posted By: preco @ 09/10/2008 2:52:20 PM

I wonder how you journalists reason. Here is a 72year old guy running for the president of the free world, he picks some skirt as his running mate and possibly the president of the free world. At least the world deserves to hear her views on issues that will affect America and the rest of the world. No she gets the off limits status already accorded McCain for only God knows why. America you will surely get the type of president you deserve. McCain-Palin? give me a break!

Rachael Maddow is gay - but more so MSNBC put her in on her show for whatever reason they gave Keith O /Tucker thier shows. I really used to like MSNBC but since they went all out for O jr the las 2 years I hate that channel. I used to hate O'Rielly and esp Sean Hannity and his goofy side kid Combs. I have always loved Gredta and hated Nancy Grace of CNN. Now my line up is this. - 7 CNN flip to Fox flip back to CNN flip back to Fox / 8 pm flip to Nancy Grace CNN to O'Rielly keep flipping/ watch all of Hannity and Combs/ Watch all of Greta unless I missed Grace then flip between them. Sunday am - I used to enjoy CSPAN however O jr pays people from CA to get up at 4am to call in even on the Republican line and that's all I have heard for the last few months of the O and Hillary race so I do not watch that anymore.

If the Dems don't come out quickly explaining that the only way to truely respect the historic nature of the Palin nomination is to ignore her gender and treat her as they would have treated any politican chasing the the VP role they will open to a doubles sided charge of sexism. Firstly being patronising by not going after her, secondly, being mesogonistic when they eventually try to critizise here shallow but contradictory record. Equality means reaching the bar not lowering it. A popular message Republicans should appreciated considering their attituide to Affirmative action over the year.

Also as the republicans tend to overwhelmingly win white men, who seek strong national security leadership. Is there a chance that by obliterating Palin as "unfit to lead" that the idea of putting her within a heartbeat of the Presidency will counteract the sympathetic groundswell of female support an attack would illicit.

    • Posted By: dcznmt @ 09/09/2008 8:12:40 PM

NO. If McCain/Palin win she will be a person who worked her way up from a housewife, to PTA member, to City Mayor, to State Govenor, to Vice President, in an up and running administration, ready to act and react, should the unthinkable happen to President McCain. Not a "no experienced" president elect (BHO)on day one being bullied and tested by international thugs and enemies of the United States. She is running for VP, BHO is running to be the president. That is the difference.

  • Posted By: dazzler221277 @ 09/07/2008 11:18:43 PM

The only way to express true respect for the historic nomination of Gov. Palin is to treat her as they would have treated any man running for the VP spot. Anything less than that should be greeted as patronising sexism and disservice to all women and the American people. The women will recieve no quarter from Americas enemies or adveseries. Equality means everyone reaches the same bar not a lower bar. This is an argument can should appeal to Republicans given their historic critisism of affirmative action.

  • Posted By: mizblkpatriot @ 09/07/2008 11:36:33 PM

If she wats to run with the big dogs than she should take it like she dishes it. I 'm a woman and feel they should go after her like she was Romney or Cheney. If she bleeds, blame MC Lame for offerfing her up in the first place. They need to show the world how green she really is on issues of National Security, and Foreign Affairs. A degree in Journalism, beauty queen, small time mayor and brand new governor of ALASKA which is really CANADA anyway; doesn't qualifty her for the job.

    • Posted By: dcznmt @ 09/09/2008 7:58:32 PM

Sticks and stones may break her bones but words will never hurt her.

John McCain can trot out his dotty 96-year-old mother as often as he likes. It doesn't change the fact that his father dropped dead at 70 and his grandfather died at 63 -- both from sudden heart attacks. McCain is 72. Maybe he's got the dotty mother genes -- but what if he's his father's son? Does ANYONE really think Sarah Palin is fit to be the President of the United States.

    • Posted By: dcznmt @ 09/09/2008 7:53:35 PM

If you thought that HRC was more ready to answer that 3 AM phone call, than BHO, then you would have to agree that a person that worked her way up from housewife, to PTA member, to City Mayor, to State Govenor, to Vice President would have to be qualified. But I guess that all those years in the State Senate, and 143 working days as a US Senator qualifies BHO to answer that phone. Now just what were the issues and accomplishments that BHO championed and won in Illinois?. What did he accomplish in his 143 days in the US Senate before he began campaigning for president? Just asking? Should the unthinkable happen to a president John McCain, I think I would take my chances with a sitting VP (Sarah Palin), in an up and running administration, ready to act and react, than on day one having a "no experienced" president being bullied and tested by international thugs. Should BHO prove not up to the task, ours will be a dangerous and long experience during his learning curve.

Mc Cain's big Bounce ! White House here we come. Thank God Americans are waking up to Obama's empty promises. Promising to CREATE jobs, how rediculous from a constitutional lawyer who knows as much about the economy as the average dog. Raising taxes yet promising he won't raise yours, people are too smart to believe that won't AFFECT them.

If you buy goods and services from companies or work for them then these huge tax increases will hurt you too. We need smaller government, less spending, fewer taxes and bring an end to the war as soon as we can and get our economy exploding again.

    • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 09/08/2008 7:02:06 PM

You're just happy that there's a slim chance now that you won't have to pay taxes on your more-than$250,000 a year income, you dog.

I'd gladly pay more taxes if everyone could have decent health care, without the insurance companies making a profti. I'd gladly pay more in taxes if we actualyl got something for our taxes here in this confused, corrupt and proud-of-it country.

Good luck with your shabby candidate. I guess he Rovian strategy worked. And hey, if not, you guys can always rig the votes in close counties - like you've been doing for years now.

      Cheat for Jesus, yessiree.

      • Posted By: dcznmt @ 09/09/2008 7:18:41 PM

Hey, don't wait for BHO. Start sending in a big check to the government, every time you pay your bills. Put your money where your mouth is. It's a free country, why not send in your whole check and see how good that makes you feel. You won't even get a "thank-you", just an empty wallet and a sick feeling knowing that your money has been taken and probably wasted or maybe, just maybe it was gi ven to someone else who could work but chooses not to. Either way, it is gone and you are the sucker.

  • Posted By: sunoverla @ 09/09/2008 6:02:24 PM

Howard do you know anyone you can talk to on the record OR as a part of the elite media are you just making quotes up to help YOUR candidate, Barack thoushallnotsayhismiddlename Obama?

  • Posted By: denmill @ 09/09/2008 5:33:59 PM

I know plenty of democrats (both men and women) who are going to give a free pass to Sarah just because of you stupid liberal media who torn down Hillary. So Mr. liberal Fineman please live with it!!!!

  • Posted By: eweb @ 09/09/2008 5:11:29 PM

Elusive Target? I personally think it is a breath of fresh air that Sarah Palin has not succumbed to the pressure of the media. The liberal media in the United States does not benefit our country as they would like for us to believe. The American people are not stupid, nor gullible. We have enough knowledge to think for ourselves, and if we don't have enough knowledge, we will gain it without the biased opinions of the media. Perhaps it is time the media begins to listen to the American people rather than try to cram their liberal views at us as though we do not have enough sense and needed their assistance to think. I sometimes value listening to a point of view other than my own, but I never change my point of view because someone attempts to poke their view down my throat. It's time for "a change" in our media. elwebb

    Dear Get on the Bus-

Did you copy and paste that from an email you received from you Republican friends? That's been circling "the series of tubes" known as the internet for years! Come up with something original already! I'm not getting on any bus you're riding.
