    The Democrats are in a panic. It's becoming clear that Obama will go down as one of the worst candidate selections in history. #1 liberal in the Senate, running with the #3 most liberal. No experience to speak of. Radical background - 20 years in the church under Rev Wright (God Damn America - hate whitey), unexplained relationship with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, unexplained relationship with convicted felon Tony Rezko. Flip flops on a daily basis. Pompous, self-inflated ego. Basically, a dangerous moron with less experience than the Republican's VP candidate, much less Presidential candidate. I believe the zealous Obama-backers must be more about the idea of starting fresh than about Obama himself. Because this guy is a loser. No wonder they are desparate to manufacture lies and half-truths. Palin has reinvigorated the Republican party because she demonstrates what is good about America. It's common sense, folks. Most of America is not and does not want to be socialist/marxist. We've fought wars against those ideoligies. McCain/Palin '08 - Good Change for America!!!

    She wasn't a member of the AIP because she was registered as a Republican? Are you kidding me? And this proves she wasn't a member how exactly?

    There is a video of one of their meetings where the speaker clearly states she was a member. Now why would he be lying? Don't be so damn naive. She was a member of the AIP - PERIOD!

    Guess it's the Republican's turn to deal with all the smears. Obama has been fighting these since the beginning and hasnt' whined about it. As for McCain and Palin they cry sexism everytime an issue is brought up. Palin should be held to the same standards as anyone running for VP.

    Thanks for talking about Sarah's alleged membership in the AIP. You could also have mentioned that it's her HUSBAND who was a member, not her. But it's not a big deal. Heck, there was a bill that would have allowed for Alaska AND Hawaii to secede, and both Biden and Obama voted for it!

      There are many Christians out there who believe in the separation of Church and State, it seems truthie may be one of them but is inneloquent in how they worded it. Just because a person doesn't believe in what the "religious right" is doing doesn't mean they're not a Christian. Besides, only God can know what goes on in their heart, saying they are 'not exactly a devout Christian' sounds like judging to me.

      But Churches are community organizers, they hold soup kitchens, canned food drives, gather clothing for the less fortunate, bring turkeys to families on Thanksgiving or Christmas..... They do several things for the community as did the early Church if you read Acts.

    Additionally, Democrats claiming that "Jesus was a community organizer" is asinine. I doubt most people who tout this line actually know what Jesus stood for but rather copy-pasted this line from a trite Daily Kos diary, yes I read that sophistry as well. Jesus sought to save people spiritually by encouraging them to die to themselves. This is a far cry from the discontentment that Obama created as a "community organizer," which led to people looking for monetary handouts. Read a bit of Jesus' statements in Matthew, if you can get passed the only verse that seems to be in Obama's repertoire, "the least of these."

There are still many questions about he past that he has danced a jig around, and I might say he almost as good as James Brown, or just right out lied.     Thoughts on Charlie Gibson interview with Palin ??? The scenery will distract from Charlie's questions on the issues. An environment controlled by the top republican experts Schimt and Davis. Voters remember impressions or personalities more then issues. In a way Davis was telegraphing his next move the interview where he thinks this election will be decide on personalities not issues. Palin should go on Meet the Press or George's show environments Schmidt can't control.

    Her handlers are saying that she doesn't need to go through the media, she can go right to the American people. The newspapers are the only ones who will ask hr the tough questions. Giving the same exact speech over and over and over is not helping. She also lies over and over. She did NOT SELL A PLANE ON EBAY. That "chef" she claimed to fire is still cooking for her, she just changed her title to "co-ordinator" so she could make that claim in the speech. Wake up America. Just any woman isn't what we want. IF a stupid woman gets into the White House it will be worse than having no woman at all.
