Why dont you all Just give senator palpatine a chance.
She lies on a daily basis about bridge to no where, when the media has proof that she did support it before it flopped.

She gets paid for staying at home for 19months when the money should of been used as her travel and lodging expense.

SO I ASK YOU ALL, GIVE senator palpatine (THE SITH LORD) A CHANCE. I BEG OF YOU TO DO SO.

Wow....nothing more enlightening than being lectured by a self-righteous Christian who doesn't even know how to spell Pontius PILATE. Oh so typical of the right-wing kool-aid drinkers....spew the party line, don't have a creative or original thought of your own, and make sure you parrot whatever Rush or Coulter vomited from their foul mouths that day.

If these unethical crooks somehow manage to steal the election a la the Stephen Heller situation or what the crooks admit they did in Ohio, I'm leaving the country.

    • Posted By: ObamaLies @ 09/10/2008 11:41:47 AM

Oh. you mean like how Obama and the DNC stole the Dem primary by giving him votes that were not his, taking some of Hillary's delgates and giving them to him, caucus maniplulation and voter intimidation, giving dead people votes, people voting mutiple times, and suspicious activity (like when the extreme North Western corner of Indiana -- NEAR CHICAGO -- did not report its returns for hours upon hours after the precincts had already given them their results?)

        armyspouse,
it is sad! I guess you people don't really get it, do you? The difference between the dems and you republicans, is that we are passionate about what can happen to this country if McCain/Palin are elected. first off, the person that will really run the country, at least we think (never know?) is John McCain and he was a pathetic candidate. so, he decides at the LAST MINUTE to go with her instead of the ultimate 'maverick' pick his sidekick joe LIEberman. she is still being vetted by the media and has an endless amount of disturbing truths that are surfacing about her every day! 'troopergate', sold plane to a contributor for a loss (not a profit like stated), the bold face LIE about 'the bridge to nowhere' - she turned tail the other way after it was already getting killed in the congress after she was all for it when she was running for office and still kept the money that some of it was already used to build the road that leads up to the bridge, and so on, and so on, and so on!!!!

        • Posted By: blackcourt @ 09/10/2008 10:45:51 AM

You can attempt to spin the truth any which way you want to. The only support that Palin ever gave to the "Bridge to Nowhere" was to say that she understood the residents plight and that she would do her utmost to help them. As for the private jet... I can't even begin to imagine how much money she has saved the state in fuel prices for such a thing. You didn't bother to mention that she put the plane on Ebay but when they couldn't sell it there they unloaded to someone that would buy it. Taking a loss on a used plane with the kind of fuel prices and economy that we are living in seems alot smarter decision than keeping it around letting it collect dust or running up huge fuel costs for using it. Instead of looking at things in a positive light you are too busy fighting for the right to kill innocent children because you can't be responsible enough to abstain... yet you'll fight with tooth and nail to save a tree. Thats the liberal point of view... save a tree... kill a baby.

The Rendell call, organized to preempt a McCain appearance in Pennsylvania, was ostensibly on the topic of how the Arizona Republican has engaged in dirty politics when it came to discussing Obama's tax record. And on this issue, Rendell was again in vintage outspoken form.

"First of all, let me say it should be embarrassing for the Republican ticket that Rick Davis, Sen. McCain's campaign manager, said 'this election is NOT ABOUT ISSUES'

Good Lord, with all the challenges facing America it has to be about Issues...

They don't want to talk about issues because when the TRUTH COMES OUT ABOUT THE ISSUES the American people will favor Sen. Obama tremendously."

The Republicans, he added, "would make the All time All-Star Team for Spiders the way they can SPIN."

But most questions, as has been the case since the Palin announcement, were focused on the Alaska Governor.

Would she siphon of Clinton supporters in Pennsylvania ? NO, said Rendell, who expected Obama to receive somewhere along the lines of "95,96, or 97 percent of the vote."

Was she Qualified to Serve as VP ? Absolutely NOT, he bemoaned.

The McCain camp argues that, "Governor Palin, because of her Executive Experience as a Mayor of a (Small 9,000 Person Town and Governor of Alaska for 20 months), has that Experience.

Well, I refer you to a McCain camp document they put out when [Virginia] Gov. Kaine was considered to be vice president. They attacked his Experience and Derided Richmond [where Kaine was Formerly Mayor] because it was the 105th Largest City ...

BIG NOTE: I think Gov. Palin was mayor of the 50,000th [Most Populated] City in the America... It was Fair Game to say Gov. Kaine was not Qualified because of his Credentials. If they are going to be CONSISTENT then they believe that Gov. Palin is Unqualified to be Vice President."

She's not going to WIN Pennsylvania, Ed Rendell Called Palin Out as being Unfit as a Mayor of a Small TOWN, A Bad Governor and a Unfit Governor, regarding ABUSE OF POWER !!!

AN ITS ALL SO ... TRUE
    -----------------------------
Gov. Ed Rendell decried a double standard in the treatment of Sarah Palin on Monday, saying that if it was he who was at the center of the "Trooper Gate" Investigation,

"The Press would be Calling For His Head"

"She [claims to be] a Reformer," said the Pennsylvania Democrat. "And yet she is being Investigated on the charge that she Used Her Power as Governor to Fire Someone who was going through a Messy Divorce with a Relative of Hers.

Could you imagine if I was doing the Same Thing in Pennsylvania ?

You would be Calling for My Impeachment."

The remarks came at the end of a long list of criticisms that Rendell, one of the foremost supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, launched against the Republican vice presidential nominee. Ignoring the directive of the Obama campaign to focus attentions on McCain, Rendell called out Palin on everything from ETHICS TO EARMARKS.

"[The McCain camp] has tried to again obscure the facts about Gov. Palin. 'She is a REFORMER and AGAINST EARMARKS.' NO SHE IS'NT, when she was mayor of that TOWN SHE HIRED A LOBBYIST TO GET EARMARKS...

'She was against the Bridge to Nowhere.' No She Wasn't... She was FOR the Bridge to Nowhere First...

She is a BUDGET BALANCER. But she left the TOWN IN GREATER DEBT then when she became Mayor !!!

"I like her," Rendell concluded. "She is a good person, she has tremendous potential but in No Way, Shape or Form is she RERADY to be President of the United States."

Comment: If this man threatened the person of the Governor of Alaska, I would expect that those in charge of the Governor's security would have done something about it. This was an issue with Palin's sister. Palin, being a strong, dominant person who enjoys a good fight chose to get involved. That involvement should have ended at the office door. "Maverick" means "Rebel". Doesn't it seem odd that such a person would even want the job of being the chief EXECUTIVE and ENFORCER of the law?

Sounds just like Alberto Gonzales and Justice. Ya change is on the way. I see a vindictive simpleton. Praise the lord and exterminate my enemies.

I'm going to research how many Times, Molly Hacket [Palin's Sister], has been Married and does she have a Mental Illness or Drug & Alcohol Dependancies of Any Kind.

The Palin's Vs. The Wooten's are a Modern Day.... Hatfield Vs. The McCoys Event !!

    Pure Trailer, Pure Trailer...

Pure Jerry Springer Trash and Maury Pouvich Trash and you want this in the White House !!

if they take this Petty Trash Situation and Drag it through 17 Months of Harassment to a Public Official, for not doing what they Demanded, what won't they Do in the White House..Hmmm

I know Wooten has been Maried (4-Times) !!!

Which is Very Common Behavior among (Rural, Southern & Mountainous People) Not to mention Alaska is a Haven for Domestic & Child Abuse, along with High Teenage Pregnacy !!!
    ------------------------------------

A spokesperson for the law firm that represented Palin's sister, now known as Molly Hackett, said Hackett's lawyer would have no comment because custody issues are still in litigation. Other lawyers representing Sarah Palin in connection with the state legislative investigation???which is examining whether she abused her powers as governor in trying to have Wooten fired or disciplined???had no immediate comment. Palin's official gubernatorial spokeswoman did not respond to e-mails and a phone message requesting comment.

Wooten's lawyer also did not respond to messages requesting comment. John Cyr, executive director of the State Troopers union, who testified at the divorce hearing and is acting as Wooten's spokesman, said Wooten has avoided giving media interviews because he wants to avoid criticizing his former relatives (to date, Wooten has granted just one interview, to CNN).

As the divorce case dragged on, the judge's concern about family "disparagement" appeared to deepen. In an order signed Jan. 31, 2006, which granted Palin's sister and Wooten a final divorce decree, Judge Suddock continued to express concern about attacks by Palin's family on Wooten. The judge even threatened to curb Palin's sister's child custody rights if family criticism of Wooten continued.

In monitoring how a joint-custody arrangement worked out, the judge said in his order that he would pay particular attention to problems noted by a "custody investigator," specifically "the disparagement of the father [Wooten] by the mother [Molly Hackett, Sarah Palin's sister] and her family members."

Armyspouse1988: It is sad that you are so blind. There is a court record in which a judge found the behavior of the Palin clan to be outrageous. But, they did not stop. I heard the so-called crazy brother-in-law's interview last week. He wishes Palin well in her run while's the repubs are still trashing him. We do not know what went on between husband and wife and it is possible the Palin doesn't either. She's a vindictive person.

    • Posted By: ObamaLies @ 09/10/2008 11:33:45 AM

Don't be so naive. Just because the police can't do anything about a stalker until he breaks the law, does not mean that he is not dangerous and the stalkee should just shut up. This is the same thing. Just because there is no actual record of him doing anything wrong, does not mean he was not a terrible person who said and did terrible things to the Palins. Plus, as you Bots like to point out, AK is small. How do you know that the judge does not know the brother-in-law oe just felt sympathy for him because he is in law enforcement, therefore these 'terrible people' must be lying about this great man. Please. And as for him being upstanding in the interview, people like him are often seen as 'nice' and 'a good guy' because that is how they present themselves to strangers. Haven't you ever noticed that whenever there is a guy who kills his pregnant wife, there is always a neighbor who reports what a swell guy he was?

Keep your religion in the church. The next war this country fights, and the war we are fighting now will be over religion , but the differance the next war will have. Is that in will be fought with-in the United Stats of America for the freedom of religion .

    • Posted By: Tappy McWidestance @ 09/10/2008 9:53:21 AM

Absolutely right. There is no difference between the religous nuts in America and the religous nuts in the Middle East. "Moose Killin' Barbie" thinks that God told us to invade Iraq because it is evil and kill everything in sight. The nuts in the Middle East believe that we are the evil ones and will send their soldiers to kill everything in sight here. Until you get rid of the repugs and the extreme religous nuts on both sides of the religous equation, they will continue to fight "holy wars".

I read the most truth-revealing comment on another blog recently :
The only difference between Muslim extremists and Christian extremists is that a Muslim is willing to die for his god..... a Christian is willing to kill YOU for their god !!

    • Posted By: dtribit @ 09/10/2008 9:56:48 AM

Anyone experienced with such familiar situations should be fearful of placing a person who has repeatedly indulged in such small-minded viciousness so close to the head of our country. If anything, she appears to have increased the tempo when she acquired power in Alaska. I fear for our country.

  • Posted By: Linrose @ 09/10/2008 11:32:15 AM

Thw the fact that a bipartison committee investigatiion is looking into this matter gives me the impression that Candidate Sarah Barracuda very well may have abused her power as governer leaving one to question the veracity of her diatriibe against Wooten.

  • Posted By: fridayz @ 09/10/2008 11:31:42 AM

Gov Palin is a flat out liar ,and she doesnt seem to care that everyone is on to her lies remind you of someone like George W Bush. Someone needs to tell her no matter how many time you lie about the bridge to nowhere ,troopergate, lobbyist and the load of porkbarrel you have gotten will not make it true. Just like Bush lying about weapons of mass destruction. When are the American people going to learn to call out liars for what they are and stop giving them a pass because they seem like they would be nice to have a beer with. This is madness. Our Country is falling apart economically . I am wondering why we always fall for these Karl Rove tricks and elect people that are not in our best interest or the countries best interest.

Sarah Palin is a leader, a maverick, a women with values. She had former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan fired for not participating in her vendetta against her former brother-in-law; threatened librarian Mary Ellen Emmons with unemployment for not cooperating with her on the banning of books; married a man who doesn't even want to be an American or want Alaska to be part of the United States, had an affair with her husband's former business partner, Brad Hanson; believed God talked to her and told her that the war in Iraq was his Will. SARAH PALIN'S VALUES AT WORK.
