In bitter divorce cases, a lot of dirty things are said short of killing each other. I'm on Palins side.

Keep your religion in the church. The next war this country fights, and the war we are fighting now will be over religion , but the differance the next war will have. Is that in will be fought with-in the United Stats of America for the freedom religion

Newsweek is well known to be a bias magazine. They have done many attack pieces on palin which have proven to be untrue or as obama would say"lies".I have not purchased a newsweek magazine in over ten years and I will never purchase one again.

    .

Something is not right. The McCain campaign handlers are still keeping her out of the reach of reporters, as though we don't have the right to know more about her. Apparently, she will sit for some Q&A with Charlie Gibson on ABC this Thursday.

Again, we have to ask: Why keep her under wraps? What are they afraid we'll find out? Anyone with even a passing interest in national and international affairs could comfortably field a few questions from reporters. Either she is not up to it at all or she was so isolated that she has not formed opinions about anything. Or, perhaps, there is something lurking just beneath the surface. Itching to get out.

Typically, these self-righteous, sanctimonious finger waggers who try to tell you how to live your life have plenty of skeletons in their own closets. Just wait and see.

Look at the media UN-preoccupation with the types of people Obama has rubbed elbows with. I don't want that sanctimonious SOB (Obama) to get elected, tax the crap outta me, give it to people like you, and tell me how to live my life... (Helloooooo... he slammed people about having 'guns and religion'... He's the sanctimonious A******. Get a clue.)

      • Posted By: mslindab @ 09/10/2008 9:20:02 AM

Obama's guns and religion comments were right and proved with your comments and others. My husband and I are 60 and have no children so we have only our own futures to deal with. However we wonder how people who are losing their jobs, homes and health insurance would support the very people who are threatening them everyday. It would appear that so long as they promise to not take away your guns and purport to be good Christians you will allow them to steal your existence and destroy the American economy. We will vote for Obama but will continue to pray for you folks as we get dragged into more wars and more debt with a McCain presidency.

I agree, if she is so ready for the world state, why does she only make the same speech where ever she goes. I can't wait until she is in a VP debate and if the questions are not scriped, to see how she stands up. She must have skin as thick as steel, for she is only being used for the purpose of getting women's votes.

You have wealth. You Must be a friend of Bush. I wouldn't count on either Administration being there for you though. The bank was already robbed. You could look for an unplundered country, ofcourse there aren't many of those left anymore. You are just worried about your wealth, so I have confidence you'll be just fine.. People who are single mindly concerned about themselves usually do just fine, proof is all around us.

  • Posted By: repubshadenoughyet? @ 09/10/2008 2:07:31 AM

OK, it's the economy stupid....it is forclosures, gas prices, unemployment, Iraq. Although entertaining Palin is soooo much fun to discuss, she is a Republican diversion that way will miss the lack of a plan. Happy to discuss Palin because it is fun but I intend to vote the issues.........I endorse this ad.....

    • Posted By: FutureExPatriot @ 09/10/2008 9:18:11 AM

Yep it's the economy STUPID! Palin's got a gas pipeline in the works. All Obama has done is tell us to inflate our tires...

  • Posted By: jolieo @ 09/10/2008 9:13:54 AM

You have wealth ? You MUST be friends with Bush . Hey I wouldn't count on either Administration being your friend this time around. The bank was already plundered - A trickle of them are already going under. May I suggest an unplundered country-not many left ofcourse. You are the one who is worried about your wealth.

I find it very difficult to understand why anyone would actually support 4 more years. They must make a ton of money or want to impose their religous preferences on all of America. No to stem cell research, what if we wouldn't have explored space, I am thinking we wouldn't be blogging today. Pro-life: Sorry those microscopic cells must be destroyed, they cannot be used to save even one life before they are destroyed, not to mention legislating between my daughters legs. That is what this election is about......my children and grandchildren.

    • Posted By: FutureExPatriot @ 09/10/2008 9:13:40 AM

Obama said he wanted to "repeal the tax cuts". That amounts to the largest income tax increase in history. There goes your children and grandchildrens' future. Oh... that is IF any of your future grandchildren don't get aborted.

Having read this article and the comments I am in agreement with you. Well said. Look at the long "term" effects of the next four years, because the fallout will last much longer than whomever is in office. Four years is long enough to rack up a lot more damage, and what do we want for our kids and Grandkids?

  • Posted By: bobie678 @ 09/10/2008 9:06:26 AM

Since when does that constitute "NORMAL BEHAVIOR". I don't act like that, but maybe that is something most people do in their lives. As far as Obama being black, Read your constitution . That is where it came from. Some Idiot decided that law. Will everyone stop saying that Palin is being picked on. She is being investigated like any other candiate would be running for the second highest position in the U.S. She needs to man up and take the punches like a man since she wants to be considered as one.

    • Posted By: rocude @ 09/10/2008 9:13:27 AM

Has Palin not "manned up"? I don't recall reading ANYWHERE where any of the 3 year old investigations and what ever other "stuff" is dug up is bothering her at all. Man that Biden has been doing a lot of interviews and "manning up", way to go!

Comment: 4 years of Obama and our wealth will disappear as fast as cocaine up a straw....
    What Wealth?
Georgie and his cabal have already gone through it.

the safety commissioner got fired just a couple of weeks after issuing her the warning for not having her baby in a car seat. I think THAT connection is interesting!

    • Posted By: mslindab @ 09/10/2008 9:11:36 AM

And she replaced him with someone with sexual harassment history who had to be withdrawn two weeks later. Judgement???

  • Posted By: HippyGrewUp @ 09/10/2008 9:10:55 AM

MMREAL---we all know the truth, but GET REAL.........what country did you grow up in.....????

  • Posted By: HippyGrewUp @ 09/10/2008 9:08:55 AM

Barbyrah, I'm sure your facts are correct. It's the words that are the only things that people seem to hear. I guess it really won't matter, though. Everywhere that I've read comments and discussions, they are so heated and over the top that it seems most people have already made up their mind. Believe it or not, I didn't know who I was going to vote for until a few days ago. It's been a struggle for me because I have issues with both candidates because I have convictions about issues on each side. I have NEVER been on the fence before. Has nothing to do with black/white/man/woman. It's the issues. I wish I was party loyal, but I never have been since the first day I voted in 1972. Thanks for your comments back. I do appreciate it.

What's missing in all of this hoopla, gossip and dirty laundry?

John McCain, a shell of a once proud American Naval aviator and tragic hero, a long time servant in Congress, a man once steeped in principles, now reduced to a teetering fidgeting old man hiding behind the skirt of a 44 year old woman because he doesn't have the testicular fortitude nor the mental capabilities to even talk for himself, nor defend his own record of service. Sad sad sad ...

Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln are rolling in their graves.

    • Posted By: FutureExPatriot @ 09/10/2008 9:07:03 AM

Oh... so you want a (cough cough) leader like Obama who had the testicular fortitude to vote: "Present" so many times in Congress.. Ha Ha...

    • Posted By: TruthSeekerNow @ 09/10/2008 8:05:55 AM

Jean Q, this would be true if John McCain was in fact a "man steeped in principle" but there are many veterans who say that he collaborated with the enemy when he was a POW.

The part that nobody tells us about is the alleged death threat. If the accusations against Wooten are false, where is the defamation lawsuit? If they are true, where is the criminal prosecution? Instead, we have this strange game of mudslinging. The fact that the case never reaches meaningful conclusion make it look like Wooten is happy enough to be employed and not under indictment, while the Palins would prefer he was fired.

    • Posted By: FutureExPatriot @ 09/10/2008 9:02:52 AM

I once knew the bride of a copy who, when returning to pick something up after a couple of months after the wedding, was covered in bruises, and getting a divorce. The creep beat her, held a gun to her head, and was later still a member of the Glendora, CA police force. I can well understand Palin's concern. Obviously those who are supposed to uphold the laws were not doing so in the first place.

  • Posted By: cuppa jo @ 09/10/2008 8:51:19 AM

I don't think Wooten should be a police officer. I don't understand why he wasn't fired. Sarah Palin had to walk a thin line b/c she was governor, however, she also had a responsibility to the Alaskan people to keep a man who obviously didn't deserve the badge away from the citizens. I don't see the big issue. SHe is dam*ed if she did and dam*ed if she didn't. I am glad she tried to do something.

    • Posted By: mslindab @ 09/10/2008 9:00:24 AM

It wasn't Governor's Palin to push for more punishment after Wooten had been investigated and punished. With good judgment, she would have let it go. We don't want our leaders using their power to pursue people with whom they have disagreements.

mcWar should be proud of his team.
