brydges, my obsession with Palin is how you morons actually let her be in a potential position of power: Vice President...my problem with her is that she is still being considered as a plausible Presidential candidate in 3 years and she couldn't handle the pressure of governing the state of Alaska. My problem is that she sounds like a female version of Rush Limbaugh, the real leader of your party

What is the liberal obsession with Palin? Republicans for the most part have written her off long ago. The only conclusion is fear, fear that she is more of a woman and a feminist then the left has, or I guess pant suits and riding your husbands coattails is what liberals consider a strong woman these days.

She misused her power as mayor to fire a police chief to hire a guy who made rape survivors PAY for their own evidence kits. She misused her power as governor to fire Monegan for not joining her personal vendetta against her sister's ex. AND ALREADY she has misused her power as a veep candidate when she let her lawyer threaten the state investigator with harassment by her federal Secret Service detail. (Cheney, remember, used his SS detail to hide from local cops until he sobered up after shooting his friend in the face). Imagine how Palin would behave as veep, with all the new powers Cheney has arrogated to that office.
