The first time in my 78 years have I been afraid of a candidate for President. This Hussein Obama is a, born Muslim. He was trained as a Muslim by his Father and Mother And his Step Father. He was taught to hate white Americans by his Church Pastor for 20 years. Other than that, he is an empty suit without a written speech.

i love the fresh look of McCaine and Pelin...i think they are just what America needs. the very democrats that embrace Ronald Regan as a hero, are the very ones that cry NO REPUBLICAN CAN CHANGE! I do not understand why Americans are so damn religious when it comes to their government! Every time there's a national tragedy someone, somewhere is always waiting in the shadows to build a monument, erect a statue, dedicate a memorial, etc. The worst part of it all is that Americans are too stupid and stubborn to see that their government is the cause of all these tragedies. Just look at how Americans reacted to such events as the space shuttle disaster of 1986, the Oklahoma City bombing, 9/11, and Hurricane Katrina. They all boo-hood, cried,and gave their government unwavering allegiance and support when their government was either directly or indirectly involved. It sickens me to see people giving religious significance to non-religious events. Also, I do not care for my money going toward this religious nonsense. And yes, in time people will forget about 9/11 just like they will forget about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jaram11 - I too listened to that garbage on the internet. I just can't believe that people such as your self are that simple minded to believe such! To you and others with the same I belief, I waste no more time on! Today is a day to remember all of the victims, the victims families and all of the men and women serving our Beautiful and Wonder Country! Peace Be With You!!!

I am a 26 year vetran of the Fire Service and was more than a 100 miles away the morning of 9/11. I remember the pain I felt immediately for those that had died and those that I knew still would before the nightmare would end. I felt the fear of those people that were trapped, and the frustration for their family and friends that didn't know if they were or not. I remember wanting to be there and to help anyway that I could, only to be told that I was need where I was because there was no way to know where the next strike might be or when it would end. As the days, weeks and months went by after 9/11, I remember crying, me a grown man weeping out of control at the loss of so many lives and the impact it had on so many more. I thought to myself what positiveness could ever come of this terrific tragety.

Today I look back at all of the new training and equipment improvements, the changes in policies and how emergency personnel look at the tasks at hand when we responding to the range of emergencies that we face each day. I look at the overall attitude of most Americans and how they their day to day lives have changed, and I find that our loss has taught me to appreciate my own life and the lives I come into contact with each day. I have learned not to fuss when security at the airport means that I have to plan my travel a little better, or how much my freedom means to me thanks to our men and women fighting to keep it for me.

9/11 was a very dark day in our history. But, it will no doubt help to make us stronger and smarter as a result. If you are registered voter, please make sure you vote. If your not and your legal to become a registered voter, please do. Try not to be so critical fo your neighbor, his beliefs, his opinion, or what he may or may not have. Embrace a child, an elderly person or someone in need. Don't wait for another 9/11 to make a difference in someones life. Both God and you, will be glad that you did. God Bless America, and God bless this world. May we some day, all live in peace.

Here's my platform if I were to run....
(1) Press 1 for English is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait at the border until you can.
(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the 'Walmart' policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'
(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.
(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border. (six month tour) They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.
(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. The president nor any other politician will not be able to touch it.
(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.
(7) Professional Athletes --Steroids - The FIRST time you check positive you're banned for life.
(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more life sentences. If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.
(9) One export will be allowed; Wheat, The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.
(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will
immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause. It's time to come to the rescue of our own Country instead of every other country that does not return the favor.
(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.
(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Maybe if the US didn't stick their noses in other countries business, we wouldn't be hated as much as we are. Yes, I am an American, born and raised but I have to wonder why we get involved in issues that are not our issues. Why don't we just stay out of it. Other countries stay out of world politics and I haven't seen any of their buildings destroyed in terrorist attacks. Maybe we should stop thinking we are the greatest country and mind our own business. Oh because then our gas would be more expensive--I forgot. Oops how silly of me

Comment: I believe we should round up all muslims and deport them along with the Illagel Mexicans. I believe their are sleeper Cell of Radical muslims here just waiting to bring death and injury to us all. I also feel Oboma is their friend. God help us if he gets elected.

First let me tell you that, no matter what political stances are, if McCain and Obama were the last two men on earth, I would vote for a man who had served his country over a man born in America and raised as a muslim, who just recently and most conveniently "converted" to Christianity when he ran to become a public official.

2nd, Obama's speech at the convention, sealed my vote, for McCain, since Obama promised to end this or that in the next 10 years. Even if he is elected, he would serve a maximum of 8 years and have an "out" to place the blame if his policy does not deliver the 10 year promise. If he has balls and believes that he can do these things, do it 4 years and earn the right to be re-elected by keeping his campaign promise. America is NOT stupid, well yes, some of them that believe his rhetoric are. The rest of us can see through his vague promises.

Last but not least, many people say that the Clinton years were the best years for economic development in this country, yet those years were ruled by a Republican Congress. Obama preaches (and that's how I feel every time I hear him speak, that he is preaching to me) that the years under the Bush Admin have been the worst economically for this country. Stop and think about it....we are under the power of a democratic congress. The Clinton years with a GOP Congress shows that the GOP is able to put differences aside and do what is best for this country. The past 8 years have shown me that the Democratic Congress has adopted a "My way or the Highway" mode of thinking and are unwilling to do what is best for this country. Maybe unwilling is too strong of a word, maybe it should be unable.

As for the war on terror? How would you feel if any of your family or loved ones were killed in the 911 attacks. If I remember correctly, it was the Democrats that were so critical of Bush taking 9 months to attack and not doing it sooner....how convenient it is to flip flop that now. How about take a poll of those stationed in the military now, since they are the ones seeing the benefits and downfalls of the war on terror. If they vote to come home, make it so, if they vote to stay, then so be it. Why is the decision to stay or leave left up to those who cannot possibly understand what is happening on a day to day basis over there. These men and women CHOSE to serve their country and that is what they are doing. They are doing what feels right to them by serving their country. You, Barack Obama, obviously felt right wearing your muslim robes and vowing your allegiance to a country other than the one you were born into and raised by citizens of.
