    Europe is not like america where people lose their rights before they are proven guilty. Arrest every body you see praying in mosque in america if thats what you want.

    It looks like the people of Europe have lost the stomach for defending their own lives. Now they are busy by politically correct and bending over backwards the Muslin religion and law. Negociating does nto work with a religon based on the statement "submit or die". Do not make the same mistake Chamberlin make with Hitler, there is NO negociation!

    These people should've been given over to the Mossad for questioning; not some fancy pants magistrate system. It's inexcusable for them to not have been permanently detained as their stories of only trying to frighten people are obviously false. This sends a clear message to other would be terrorists: Give it your best shot b/c the consequences are trivial at worst. The judicial system fumbles another one...

    Directed at the first comment, how do you feel you have the right to comment on the jurys decision? Were you on the Jury? If not then you cant possibly know all the evidence and so you are not in a position to draw a conclusion. Maybe they accused are guilty and the Police/CPS didnt do a good enough job at presenting the evidence or maybe some of these people are actually innocent. That is a possibility you know... ever heard of innocent untill proved guilty?

    As for the author of this article, he seems to imply that the British legal system is weak because of the number of arrests compaired to convictions. Has he ever contemplated the fact that these people who were found innocent were actually innocent and infact it is the police making the mistakes? It would also be nice, as the author is no doubt being payed for the article, if he could get his facts right, especially when he already stated them correctly earlier in the piece! The trials only led to one acquittal not multiple acquittals. The others had the case against them found not proven, there is a massive difference between that and being acquitted.

    I wish these people would stop giving Muslims a bad name. These guys have about as much in common with mainstream Islam as a batch of bungled bank robbers does to America.

      Sir, these are mainstream Muslims. Born, raised, and educated in England. The problem that Great Britain indeed, all of Europe has at the present time is that they refuse to see th problem for what it is. Islam in not compatible with any system of government that does not conform to Islamic jurisprudence codified under sharia law. Islam is the state, and all must submit or be treated as infidels and be put to the sword. The politically correct ideology that has taken over Europe under the guise of tolerance and diversity has done nothing to promote those very ideals. Instead, those concepts have given "mainstream Muslims" the opportunity to subvert the democratic rule of law and replace it with one more sympathetic to Islamic way of life. Islam is not freedom. It is tyranny, mysogyny, mayhem and murder disguised as freedom. And to ignore that threat would be foolhardy indeed. Europe has done so, much to their detriment. The only reason the're not as much as a threat here in the US as they are in Europe is because they do not have enough of a political voice to make changes as they see fit. Should you doubt this,might I suggest a little research. 1) Londonistan, by Melanie Phillips. 2) Why they Hate, by Brigitte Gabriel, and 3) Sword of The Prophet, by Serge Trifkovic.         When the infidel is given the choice of Islam or death, does he have to choose Sunni or Shiite at that moment? And isn't that kind of a trick question depending on who is holding the beheading sword?

    In spite of evidence presented, most of the accused were acquitted at trial. So the question that must be asked now, is, has the system failed England, or have the people failed England. In light of evidence presented at trial, it appears that the people have failed their country in seeing justice served.

    At least they stopped the guys from another terror attach. That's the most important thing.
