    George Bush Wins The Electoral College Vote

    The United States presidential election of 2004 was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 to elect the president. It was the 55th consecutive quadrennial election for the president and vice president of the United States.

    Republican candidate George Walker Bush, the President of the United States, defeated Democratic candidate John Forbes Kerry, the junior United States Senator from Massachusetts. Foreign policy was the dominant theme throughout the election campaign, particularly Bush's conduct of the War on Terrorism and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

    As in the presidential election of 2000, voting controversies and concerns of irregularities emerged during and after the vote.

    The winner was not determined until the following day, when Kerry decided not to dispute Bush's win in the state of Ohio. The state held enough electoral votes to determine the winner of the presidency. Both Kerry and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean have stated their opinion that voting in Ohio did not proceed fairly, and that had it done so, the Democratic ticket might have won that state and therefore the election. [1]

    Only three states changed allegiance. New Mexico and Iowa voted Democratic in 2000, but voted Republican in 2004. New Hampshire voted Republican in 2000 but voted Democratic in 2004.

    After a very disappointing speech today in whic he he seemed abulic, aloof, and apathetic, Senator Biden is widely believed to be close to dropping out of the race. He is getting enormous pressure to do so by a group within the Obama camp who blame him for the dramatic drop in the polls recently. Among the face saving exits being considered is feigning an illness.

Do you think that the risk of hurting Biden's feelings is gonna prevent him from forcing him to resign so that he can put Hillary on the ticket?     The finger pointing has apparently started in the Obama campaign. There seems to be plenty of blame to go around. Most observers point to Obama's decision to tour Europe as the turning point in the campaign. Others see his choice of Biden as the coupe de grace. A few believe that Michelle Obama has been underutilized and that she would have generated considerable excitement.

      good question...so many possibilities....I'm fairly certain that the 527 attack dogs are going to be turned loose. Hussein can't survive it. He has soooo many areas of weakness...from Saul Alinsky and ACORN to the Eligibility lawsuit. The "born alive" issue is re-heating up, then there is good buddy Rezko (quite possibly a Witness Protection deal), Willy Ayers, and his Nation of Islam crew.....but in the long run....it is the fact....he is basically a sissy....and we live in dangerous times. I do for-see Iran getting bombed quite soon....that is what I see as the most likely turn of events, that creates a McCain landslide....

      Who knows what event or events, but a McCain sweeping victory is most certainly assured.

I immediately discounted and discredited it because it lacked a source (not because I am not good at Googling, but becaue it has the potential of mislead others who are not 'experts' at Googling). I try to always back up my comments regarding a sensitive topic or issue of obvious importance to voters with sources I can find.
    Now, speaking of sharia courts..... I am not surprised here. The probelm with you is that you kind of took it out of context, because the sharia courts are limited in scope and do not apply to non-Muslim citizens of Britain. Britain, in ssence, is trying to be more respectful of religious freedom, and the Muslims there have to voice their opposition to being ruled by sharia courts, but they didn't appear to have done. I would never in my life stand America allowing sharia law in any place within the USA. DOWN WITH SHARIA LAW!
