It is not surprising that McCain is dead even with Obama. i think the more we know Obama the less we want to vote for him. After all he has nothing to offer except great teleprompted speeches. I saw an interesting nation-wide event happening now at obamaflipflops.org. The site which is exclusively dedicated to Obama flip flops. Now you can send a pair of flip flops free to Barack Obama. I think we all should join the cause and make the statement "Obama, we are listening what you're saying!"

I find it hard to believe that any woman would decide to vote for McCain simply because he chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. Perhaps some of them are not fully cognizant of his personal history with women. He is getting a free pass from the mainstream press with regard to his past womanizing. While he was in Viet Nam, McCain's first wife was in a serious car accident that required multiple surgeries and was seriously disfiguring. She had been an attractive swimwear model when he married her. Her accident left her less attractive, shorter, and overweight. This supposedly "family values" candidate left his wife for a wealthy heiress who was eighteen years younger than him. McCain has acknowledged that he had other girlfriends after returning from Viet Nam and finding a crippled wife to greet him. He abandoned the mother of his three children so he could marry a young, rich cupcake. His former wife, Carol, shows far more integrity than her former husband by displaying no bitterness, saying about their divorce and his re-marriage one month later, ???My marriage ended because John McCain didn???t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.??? War hero? A real man would have remembered this inconvenient truth: Christian marriage vows contain the words ???in sickness and in health???.

Why do the republicans use schoolyard (lying, slandering, name calling, etc) tactics just to win?? Maybe it's b/c McCain has no real solutions to Americas problems and the HUGE hole Bush and the GOP has dug for us. Republicans have no fiscal responsibility, lack morals and ethics, force their values on everyone in the world, and create double standards so they don't have to play by the rules. I have no respect for the GOP. If they win this election, how can they ever justify their unethical methods?

Did Rove write or comment on thsi article?? Doesn't he work for Newsweek and The New York Times now? He's the real pig with lipstick who should go back under the rock he crawled out from.

Why would white women suddenly vote for McCain b/c he's got a female VP???? He's running for Pres. not her. Bottom line: McCain is too old, too stiff, too boring, and has sided with Bush > 90% of the time. He's just a continuation of failed republican policies.
Who would put their elderly father or grandpa in the most stressful job in the world!!! All McCain should be thinking about is RETIREMENT!

But if any association really matters, then why are you silent on Palin's past associations with a group that hates America, the Alaska Independence Party, which is far worse than any perceived bad associations Obama has? So many times the name of Jesus is invoked in these political discussions. I see nothing in my New Testament that gives any clue that Jesus would choose to join any political party. Further, I highly doubt Jesus lent his endorsement of the war in Iraq to W or anyone else.

His Book, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, reeks with communism where he pretty much wants to give all power to the government (him) to disribute among the people (in the manner that he sees fit). It's funny that the media dosn't talk about this book much. Can we really trust Obama this much?? He really wants too much control over our lives.
And race is not the issue for me...if McCain and Palin were black and Obama were white I'd be feeling the exact same way. It's the horror of communism and the love of this fee country that screams NOBAMA!!

I know McCain has his faults but I dont buy into the McBush crap either McCain is definetly the lesser of the two evils!

Democrats are still confuse on how to distort the record of Palin and I don't know why they keep on coming back questioning Palin's experience while their number candidate (Obama) doesn;t have enough experience to run for President and Palin is just running for the number 2 position.
