I knew it. The Centers of Disease Control (CDC) announced today that the epidemic of Clinging to Bibles and Guns Syndrome (CBGS) had been traced to a Gideon Bible that had been placed at a Hilton hotel in a suburb of Toledo Ohio last March. The owners of the Hilton chain have ordered the removal of all Bibles from hotels throughout the country. The Bibles will be replaced with copies of Mice and Men. The Obama campaign expressed complete support. David Axelrod said that Bibles should have been removed from all public places a long time ago and blamed the Bush administration. How ignorant are these "white' voters?!?! Regarding Palin's history, are they not aware that 1)She was elected Alaska's govenor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside of Anchorage. She has NO foreign policy experience. 2) Palin is STRONGLY ANTI-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest. 3) She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 4) Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools. 5) She doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change(!!!???*#!!!) 6) She's SOLIDLY in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first!" energy policy! She's pushed hard for MORE oil drilling and says "renewables won't be years!". She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species-she was worried it would INTERFERE with MORE oil drilling in Alaska! and 7) How closely did John McCain vet his choice?? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time (the last Sunday in July, I believe,) when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position. So, Gov.Palin is a staunch anti-choice religious conservative. She's a global warming denier who shares John McCain's commitment to Big Oil. AND sh'e dramatically inexperienced. In picking Palin, he's made the religious 'right' very happy. And I so vehemently fear, he's made a very dangerous decision for our country!!!!
I now cannot help thinking...'President Palin'...hmmmmmm?!?! Remember, John McCain is now 72 yrs of age.

So, Americans are too ignorant and too gullible to choose the right leader with a reputation for in-your-face lies, just like Bush? And if they claim to be a nation of morals, then they'd be total hypocrites because they know lying is not the option their religion/God allows.
We have to vigorously question the integrity and honesty of the whole of the Republican party, which seems to be bent on winning political office on the back of a lie, and conservatives who decry a culture of lying privately and publicly turn a blind eye in order to fulfill their conservative, anti-progress agenda.

I'm happy to report that the majourity of American voters have gotten wise, we realize that there's such a thing called "Media Hype" which we were blind to in the past, but thank GOD we have become very aware of these " Trivial persuits". All the other positive facts about the more positive candidate, "OBAMA" " Fact checked" We the people are also very aware that the future looks brighter with OBAMA as president.
We do love our brother macain but it's time he takes the rest of his life to rest his delapidated body, aftyer all he has worked hard whether to good or bad, longevity isn't on his sideright now.
The past pattern must be erradicated once and for all, and let a more focused, more positive, candidate look out for our concerns, it's no time now for the inevitable hospital regime to enter the white house. thanks but no thanks, we are voting for "POSITIVE CHANGE" can we stop the fight and just Unite?

I am a 46 y.o. white fm, married mother of 5, and a police officer. I deal with people who live in poverty everyday. i can't tell you how many times I've filled out a booking (arrest) application and when I ask the 18-35 y.o. male, who just jumped over a 6 ft. wall and ran several blocks to avoid capture, if they have a job, they respond, "No, I'm on SSI. I have A.D.D.",( or dsylexia or some other "ailment" that still allows a person to work). Many times when I encounter a young male (18-30) and I tell them that because they're economically disadvantaged, they could get a college education paid for and then I provide info on how they should go about obtaining financial aid, they respond by saying, "Well I don't want to have to get up early and catch the bus" or "I'm gonna make it big as a rapper " which basically means that they'd rather sleep late and smoke weed all day and make babies with many different womaen that you and I support. Often these "disadvantaged" men, have 60" TV's in their section 8 housing living room w/ only the best video systems, which they don't seem to have a problem playing despite their A.D.D. I attribute this to proof that one can be make alot of money selling dope. (They are often hard to catch because they use little kids to hold their dope while they are out on the corner selling). This is where the Democrats want to spend your tax money. If you are unsure of who to vote for, do a ride-along with your local police department. We need to stop giving hand-outs and force every welfare recipient to work even if that means picking up trash on the side of the road. We need to set the stardard utilizing accountability, and get rid of the Democrats theory of dependency.
Lastly, as far as Obama goes, if I had less than 200 days as a cop, should I be elected Chief of the department? (In case you're wondering, I'm in my ninth year as a police officer.)

I thought the civil war had ended long ago. It is so easy to see why we can't get along with other countries, when we are SO nasty to each other in our own country. Why not just listen to the candidates and make our decision on what they say? People are so nasty to each other, it's disheartening. 3. Have Bill Clinton say that Palin reminds him of Paula Jones and that he can maker her squeal like a pig with lip stick.
4. Take another tour of Europe.
5. Take a tour through Kenya.
6. Rename the Department of Education the Department of Sex Education and nominate Pamela Anderson for Secretary.
7. Make campaign appearance with Rep. Conyers and promise to work towards slave reparations.
8. Send copies of autobiography: "Dreams from My Father."
