Who is Obama's Vice Presidential running mate again? It's been so long since anyone said anything about him, I can't remember who he is or what HE stands for.

The only reason the polls are even is because of racism. Some white people are not going to vote for Obama just because he is black. Yes , he should be ahead, but their are some whites who would rather vote for a failed administration, stand in soup lines, and go on welfare, before they will vote for a black man. Palin knows absolutley nothing, but she is on the blue collar whites level. They identify with her. She is just like them.

Mainstream Media has really dropped the ball. The Obama campaign is reformatting their strategy to deal with McCain instead of Palin. Palin is not the issue, she is a distraction, but not an issue. This too will pass President Obama.

This is a ridiculous poll. Where did _Newsweek_ gather the sample of white women for this poll...at a Republican rally?

I cannot believe this past week. with all of the crap that went on between the two candidates. Arguing about "lipstick on a pig." What a distraction for voters and a waste of time for both campaigns. With two weeks before the first debate and they are arguing about cosmetics.

Another that if both campaigns want to attract women voters, they need to get beyond the issue of abortion and talk about topics such as the economy, insurance and other related domestic issues.

Whats up with the media attack dogs? Did they forget that Joe Biden is in this race as well? Come on, let's dish the dirt on Joe as well. I love nothing more than CNN saying "No Bias, No Bull". The media has been silent when it comes to Joe, I'm sure the attack dogs can come up with some juicy tidbit.

I really have to question the american population when the appointment of a governor with no foreign (let alone national) experience to the vice presidency of what would be the oldest first term president in our nation's history, creates a boost in the republican poll numbers. we pretend to be informed citizens but this has really makes me question our political system. when she becomes vp, am i supposed to be proud, as a woman, that the first of my gender is advocating book burning and overturning roe v. wade? and this is the new face of feminism? i am offended.

i cannot understand why americans want to go thru what they went thru for the past 10 years, wars,troubled economy, more enemies, cold war, recession, stronger terrorists and most of all, more death. it requires more than a cowboy to solve the world's problems. dealing with different cultures, pride, ethnic groups require a more open minded adminstration than tthe existing one

Palin has more executive experience that Nobama and Biden put together. Voters don't want an African muslim man without experience to be their President.

My own Palin bubble has burst and I suspect that a lot of other independents will follow soon. She is becoming creepier by the day, as McCain fawning over a female cowboy carbon copy of his rival George Bush, creepy, like her husband's role in her work and the fact that Alaskans are afraid to talk about her because she might come back and punish them one by one is creepy. And things like McCain suddenly becoming an unabashed liar. I always felt bad for McCain for the way he was treated by the Bushies in 2000, but I think I also held it against him for coming back to Bush and the GOP afterwards. His use of their Rove style politics in 2008 is really the final straw for me and that man.

Obama? Battle tested? He's never had a job that didn't rely on tax dollars for a salary. During his short tenure as a senator, he has never drafted a single piece of bipartisan legislation. His voting record shows that he votes with his party over 98% of the time, the same party that has an even lower approval rating than the president. Change??? I think not!!!

I agrree with Pia1981! I feel very strong about aboriton when it comes down to being raped! When she talked during her interview with "Charlie" she back tracked on everything she originally stood for before she became the vice presidental elect! I don't think she even knows where she stands! As a women who wanted Hillary I would strongly recommend women read before and after bios on what "they" call a small town hockey mom!
